従来、上記のような浅層地盤改良装置として、図4に示すように走行自在なベースマシン1に起伏自在に取付けられたアーム2,3を介して垂直に支持されるロッド4の下端に、図5に拡大して示すように水平板状をなす掘削兼撹拌翼5,5を複数段として有する掘削撹拌ヘッド6,6が垂直面内で回動自在に取付けられ、この掘削撹拌ヘッド6,6を軟弱地盤a内に掘進および上下動させて前記ロッド4内を通じその下端の吐出口7から吐出される地盤硬化剤と掘削土砂とを前記掘削撹拌ヘッド6,6の回転によるその掘削兼撹拌翼5,5により撹拌混合し、その地盤の軟弱土を固化させて安定した地盤に改良するようになされている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかるに上記従来の装置では、ロッド4の下端領域には掘削兼撹拌翼5,5の回転が及ばないため図5にLで示す未改良領域ができてしまい、撹拌が十分に行なわれず、良好な地盤改良が達成されないという問題があった。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、未掘削撹拌領域が生じず、万遍なく軟弱地盤の改良を可能とする浅層地盤改良装置を提供することを課題としてなされたものである。

上記課題を解決する手段として本発明は、走行自在なベースマシンに昇降可能に垂下支持されるロッドの下端両側部に、水平板状をなす掘削兼撹拌翼を複数段として有し垂直面内で回転自在な掘削撹拌ヘッドを備えた浅層地盤の改良装置において、前記複数段の掘削兼撹拌翼のうち前記ロッドの下端下方位置を通過する軌道を有する掘削兼撹拌翼にバネ等の弾性体による付勢手段により前記ロッドの中心線方向に延長する姿勢を保持する補助翼を旋回可能に設けたことにある。

以下、本発明を図面に示す実施の形態を参照して説明する。

本発明の基本的構成部分は、従来と同様にベースマシン1に垂直に支持されるロッド4の下端両側部に本発明の構成に係る掘削撹拌ヘッド10,10が垂直面内で回転駆動自在に設けられ、この掘削撹拌ヘッド10は図3にその一方を拡大断面図として示しているように、前記ロッド4の下端近くの両側部に固設の取付座11にボルト12により固着された油圧モータ13により回転駆動され、前記取付座11の円環状の軸受部14にフローティングシール15を介して液密に接合させる回転ドラム16と、この回転ドラム16の外周にキー17,17により一体回転するよう嵌合された翼取付座18,18の外周に放射状に固設された複数(図では等角配置の4本)の立上部19A,19B…と、この立上部19A,19B…の側部に複数段に水平方向に設けられる掘削兼撹拌翼201 ,202 とを有し、前記回転ドラム16と前記油圧モータ13の回転フランジ21とがボルト22,22で結合されていて、油圧モータ13の駆動により回転ドラム16を介し立上部19A,19B…が掘削兼撹拌翼201 ,202 と共に回転するようになっている。

上記立上部19A,19B…は正面視において前記回転フランジ21の回転中心を中心とする半径線上に垂直に立上がっているが、側面視においては前記回転ドラム16の軸線に対し交互に反対方向に所要角度傾斜しており、その先端が前記ロッド4に近づく方向に傾斜する立上部19Aにはロッド4に対し反対側に掘削兼撹拌翼201 ,202 が水平方向に固設され、また先端がロッド4から離間する方向に傾斜する立上部19Bにはロッド4側に掘削兼撹拌翼201 ,202 が水平方向に固設されている。

前記ロッド4の内部軸方向には、図示しない硬化剤供給源に連通する硬化剤通路23があり、ロッド4の下端に開口する吐出口7,7からロッド4側に向く最外端の掘削兼撹拌翼201 の回転軌道近くに硬化剤が矢印方向に吐出されるようになっている。また前記油圧モータ13には、前記ロッド4の内部を通じて導かれるホース24が接続され、図示しない油圧ユニットから圧油を油圧モータ13に導くようになされている。

本発明においては、前記ロッド4の中心に向く掘削兼撹拌翼201 ,202 のうち最外端に位置する掘削兼撹拌翼201 の先端に補助翼25の基部が軸26により水平面内で旋回可能に取付けられ、前記軸26に巻装されたバネ27により補助翼25の先端25aが常時ロッド4の中心方向に向くよう付勢保持されている。好ましくは上記先端25aがロッド4の下端より若干下位でかつロッド4の中心位置に至る長さとされる。なお上記付勢手段としては、バネに限らずゴム等の弾性体によるものであってもよく、また対象地盤の性状に合わせて弾発力を調整し、補助翼25に掘削機能を与えるようにすることができる。

図1〜図3において符号28は、掘削撹拌ヘッド10,10の回転時に上記補助翼25が上方に位置したとき該補助翼25の先端側部が図2に示すように当ってこれを逃がすための補助翼当接部であり、この補助翼25の逃がしをスムーズにするため補助翼25の先端側部が当る面をゆるやかな円弧面とされている。

次に上記実施形態の作用を説明する。

改良しようとする軟弱地盤に掘削撹拌ヘッド10,10を回転させつつロッド4を降下させるとともにセメントミルク等の硬化剤を硬化剤通路23を通じてロッド4の下端の吐出口7から地盤内に注入する。

前記掘削撹拌ヘッド10,10の地盤内での回転によりその掘削兼撹拌翼201 ,202 により地盤を掘削すると同時に土砂と硬化剤とが撹拌混合される。

こうして図4に示した従来例と同様にベースマシン1を移動させて順次上記掘削撹拌作業を行なうことにより所要範囲の地盤を改良することができる。

上記作用において本発明では、ロッド4の下端直下位置の地盤は補助翼25が撹拌することになり、この補助翼25が上方に回動してロッド4と交差するときは、図2に示すようにロッド4の補助翼当接部28に補助翼25の先端側部が当って軸26を中心にバネ27に抗し旋回して通過する。

これによりロッド4の下端位置の地盤も左右の掘削撹拌ヘッド10,10の各補助翼25により掘削撹拌することができ、効率よく地盤の改良を行なうことができ、ロッド4の下端領域の良好な掘削撹拌ができる。

なお、掘削撹拌ヘッド10の立上部の本数、掘削兼撹拌翼の設置数は使用対象地盤等の性状に応じ適宜増減することは任意である。

【発明の効果】
以上説明したように本発明によれば、掘削撹拌ヘッドの掘削兼撹拌翼のうち最外周に位置する翼にバネ付勢により前記ロッドの中心線方向に延長する姿勢を保持する補助翼を旋回自在に設けたので、ロッドの下端直下に未掘削未撹拌の領域が生じることを防ぐことができ、均等な撹拌ができるので均質な改良地盤を得ることができる。
