【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、栽培圃場で抜き取った玉ねぎやニンニク等の鱗茎作物を、調製機体の供給口より供給し、鱗茎部から茎葉及びひげ根を除去して出荷姿に調製し搬出口に搬出する鱗茎作物調製機のひげ根切断装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
鱗茎作物の中で代表的な玉ねぎの場合を例にすると、栽培圃場で抜き取った玉ねぎは、畦の上に並べ数時間自然乾燥させ調製作業に入るか、茎葉部で適当量束ね乾燥場へ搬入し乾燥後調製作業に入るか、何れの場合もその調製作業は、ハサミを使い手作業で鱗茎部より茎葉とひげ根を2工程で切断し、除去した茎葉やひげ根と混合しないように分けながら鱗茎部を収穫するのが一般的で、早急な圃場よりの搬出労力や多くの手作業、特に、ひげ根の切断では気を使う丁寧な作業を必要としている。
尚、このひげ根切断作業を、走行車に装着した調製装置で行なうのは公知としてあるが、収穫物の品質に重大な影響をおよぼすひげ根切断位置の精度を高く維持できる装置としては、公知例では切断直前のひげ根ガイドや位置決め等が無くその点十分な構造とはいえない。
例えば、特開平8−280219号公報の通りである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
鱗茎作物調製機は、搬入条件の悪い圃場や、変形小区画で分散した圃場での作業に多く要望されており、しかも小形であっても短時間で処理できる能率と品質確保のための高い精度が要求される。
これは、鱗茎作物を裏作として栽培する場合が多く、直後に控えている表作の植付けまでには収穫を終えなければならず、又、その地域の収穫時期の集中により近所の熟練した農家の人手を確保するのは困難なためである。
従って、鱗茎作物調製機の課題の一つとしては、ひげ根切断装置を、誰が作業しても、鱗茎作物を調製機に供給することにより、ひげ根切断位置の精度を高く維持できる構造に纏めることである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明の解決しようとする課題は以上の如くであり、次にこの課題を解決するための技術的手段を説明する。
即ち、請求項1においては、機体の前方側に設けた供給口40に抜き取った鱗茎作物の鱗茎部を上方に向けて人の手によって1個ずつ供給して機体の後方側に設けた搬出口43から調製した前記鱗茎作物を搬出する調製工程で、前記鱗茎作物の葉を一定長さに揃える切断装置前記鱗茎部から伸びたひげ根を切断するひげ根切断装置7を備えた移動式の鱗茎作物調製機において、前記供給口40から前記搬出口43に渡って前記鱗茎作物を挟持搬送する鱗茎搬送装置5を機体側面視で機体水平方向に設け、該鱗茎搬送装置5の途中上方から前記搬出口43に渡って前記鱗茎部を挟持搬送する左右一対の幅広の鱗茎挟持搬送帯63L・63Rを対向して設け、該鱗茎挟持搬送帯63L・63Rの始端部上方に前 記ひげ根を切断するひげ根切断装置7を設け、該ひげ根切断装置7の前端部に前記鱗茎挟持搬送帯63L・63Rによって搬送される前記鱗茎部との接当で前記ひげ根切断装置7の上下位置を決める根切りガイド70を設け、該根切りガイド70をフレーム体50に設けた根切装置取付体51と前記ひげ根切断装置7の左右に設けたリンク取付体73L・73とを揺動自在に連設する板状のリンク74等により前記ひげ根切断装置7とともに、前記根切りガイド70を上下揺動可能に設けたものである。

【発明の実施と形態】
次に、本発明の実施の形態を添付の図面を用いて説明する。
図1は本発明の鱗茎作物調製機の全体正面図、図2は同じく全体側面図、図3は同じく全体平面図、図4はひげ根切断装置正面図、図5は同じく側面図、図6は同じく平面図、図7は根切ガイドの3面図、図8は別実施例の円盤式根切ガイドの3面図である。

まず、本発明を装備した鱗茎作物調製機の全体の構成を、図1、図2、図3を用いて説明する。
以下は、代表的な鱗茎作物である玉ねぎを例に、調製機体の下方に小径車輪を取り付けた手押し式の場合について説明する。
全体の構成は、動力源10・調製機体4・鱗茎搬出部8・車輪部3・フレーム体50で、更に調製機体4は、鱗茎搬送装置5・茎葉処理装置6・ひげ根切断装置7及び固定カバー53・サイドカバー54を配置して構成している。

本発明を装備した鱗茎作物調製機の動きを説明すると、動力源10の回転力を供給口40付近側面に配置した主クラッチレバー44を「入」にし鱗茎作物搬送装置5・茎葉処理装置6・ひげ根切断装置7の各伝動部を回転駆動するとともに、供給口40より鱗茎作物の葉を下向きにし鱗茎部を鱗茎搬送装置5の対向する鱗茎搬送帯60L・60Rに乗せると共に茎葉を茎葉処理装置6の茎葉整列帯62L・62Rに挟持させれば、適当な力で茎葉を下に引き鱗茎部の位置決めを行ない後方の搬出口43まで搬送する。
また、茎葉処理装置6の前端部茎部の荒切断と後端部で仕上げ切断を行なう。
そして、この鱗茎保持状態でひげ根切断装置7ではひげ根調製・鱗茎と接当し切断位置決め・切断・ひげ根拡散を行ない、鱗茎搬出部8では切替え板81により機体の左又は右に調製された鱗茎を排出する動きをする。

動力源(この場合エンジン)10は、フレーム体50上面で鱗茎搬出部8に隣接した位置に締結固定され、エンジンプーリ11から伝えられた回転力は、主クラッチベルト12を介して鱗茎搬出部8下方でフレーム50上面に固定したユニット軸受17と分配軸ベベルケース18とで軸支した分配軸14に固着した分配軸プーリ15aに動力を伝達し、その動力の断続は供給口40付近側面に配置した主クラッチレバー44を操作することにより主テンションアーム13を動かして行ない、エンジン回転調節はハンドル21に固着したアクセルレバー23を操作して行なう。

調製機体4の鱗茎搬送装置5は、側面視で、調製機体4の上下方向ほぼ中央位置で水平に架設しており、供給口40から搬出口43付近まで延設した一対の対向する鱗茎搬送帯60L・60Rと、この上方に、並列的にひげ根切断装置7の下方から搬出口43付近まで延設した幅広の搬送帯で一対の対向する鱗茎挟持搬送帯63L・63Rを配置し、その動力伝達は分配軸プーリ15b、分配軸ベルト16、搬送駆動ケース45を介して幅広プーリ48L・48R、丸溝プーリ49L・49Rにより伝動連結状態で鱗茎が供給口40から搬出口43の方向へ移動するよう構成した構造である。

調製機体4の茎葉処理装置6は、側面視で、鱗茎搬送装置5の下方にあり、ひげ根切断装置7終端付近の下方に配置した茎葉処理駆動ケース46aの出力軸46bL・46bR下方から供給口40付近では鱗茎搬送帯60に近接するよう後ろ下がり斜めに延設した一対の対向する茎葉整列帯62L・62Rを配置し、出力軸46bL・46bR側には鱗茎搬送帯60に近接した位置に仕上げ切断を行なう茎葉切断刃65L・65Rを一部重接状態で回転係合すると共に、供給口40側には荒切断を行なう葉部切断刃64L・64Rを下方で一部重接状態とし右葉部切断刃64R下面に切断補助板69を設け回転係合し、その動力伝達は分配軸ベベルケース18、中間軸57、ベベルケース58を介して茎葉処理駆動ケース46aに伝動連結し、鱗茎作物が供給口40から搬出口43の方向に移動するよう構成した構造である。

本発明を織り込んだ調製機体4のひげ根切断装置7については、図4、図5、図6、図7、図8を用いて説明する。
ひげ根切断装置7は、根切駆動ケース47、ひげ根調製体67L・67Rひげ根切断刃66L・66R根切ガイド70、リンク取付体73L・73Rで構成している。
根切駆動ケース47は、正面視で、右上に屈折伝動具75と係合する1本の入力軸と、ケース前面にひげ根調製体67L・67Rと係合する2本の軸とが前向きに突出し、ケース下面にひげ根切断刃66L・66Rと係合する2本の軸が下向きに突出し、夫々を同期的に伝達する伝動装置を内蔵軸支し、中央部に根切ガイド70、左右端にリンク取付体73を締結固定するケースで構成し、その動力伝達は中間軸57より根切装置取付体51に軸支した根切駆動軸52に中間軸ベルト55で伝達し屈折伝動具75により動力を受ける。

ひげ根調製体67は、円筒軸67aの外周に適当に植毛して円筒ブラシを形成した対向し外接する一対のひげ根調製体67L・67Rで構成し、根切駆動ケース47の前向きに突出する2本の軸に回転係合し、中央外接部で下から上方向に回転して搬送してきた鱗球のひげ根を整えるものである。
ひげ根切断刃66は、薄い円盤状の対向し一部重接する一対のひげ根切断刃66L・66Rで構成し、根切駆動ケース47の下向きに突出する2本の軸に回転係合し、中央重接部で前から後方へ噛み込み方向に回転し、搬送してきた鱗球のひげ根を切断するものである。
掻き出し体72は、対向して接する長さの突起部を一カ所有する一対の弾性体で、ひげ根切断刃66L・66R上面に近接し回転係合した構成であり、切断したひげ根等をカッター上面より飛散排出するものである。

次に、根切ガイド70は、接当部に2つの円弧の組み合せて略釣針形状に形成した(図7の実施例はこれ等が重なった1つの円弧)一対の棒状のガイド体70aL・70aRをガイド座70bに固着した構造で、側面視で、ひげ根調製体67と近接しひげ根切断刃66に重接する状態で、根切駆動ケース47中央部に上下調節可能に固定し、搬送してきた鱗茎と接当しひげ根切断装置7を上下することによりひげ根切断刃66を適当な位置に上下すると共に、ひげ根を寄せながらひげ根切断刃66に送り込むものである。
別の実施例の円盤式根切ガイド71は、図8に示す通り、一端にメタル穴を有する一対の成型した板状の円盤取付体71cL・71cRの他端をガイド座71bに固着し、メタル穴に円盤体71a・71aを内側より回転自在に嵌挿し抜け止めを施した構造である。

リンク取付体73は、側面視で、前方延出面に上下2つのリンク取付のメタル穴を持ち、正面視下部L形面に取付穴を持つ一対の成型した板構造のリンク取付体73L・73Rで構成し、これを根切駆動ケース47の上面左右端に締結固定し、このリンク取付帯73L・73Rとフレーム体50の根切装置取付体51とを4点リンクを構成するリンク74・リンクピン76により、ひげ根切断装置7を上下揺動可能に装着し動力伝達は、屈折伝動具75を接続して行なうものである。
尚、ひげ根切断装置7揺動下限は、ストパー51L・51Rとリンク74L・74Rが接当し、鱗茎と根切ガイド70との接当荷重はバランスバネ77により適当な荷重に軽減している。

鱗茎搬出部8の構成は、側面視「U」字形溝形状のシュータ80L・80Rを正面視山形の傾斜位置に、後面に配置した切替えレバー82に連動し搬出口43から搬出した鱗茎をスムースにシュータ80L・80Rの溝に流す切替え板81を山形の頂点付近に、更に、搬出鱗茎が上に飛び出さぬようガイドカバー83をシュータ上部の一部に夫々配置し、調製機体4の搬出口43を有する固定カバー53cに沿って固着した構造で構成している。
なお、搬出鱗茎と混合した切断ひげ根が鱗茎収納場所に入らないようシュータ溝底部の1部に、下方に開放されたひげ根排出口84L・84Rを設け、排出されたひげ根等は地面に放出される。

鱗茎作物調製機の移動手段には、タイヤ、クローラによる自走式もあるが、一例である実施例の手押し式の車輪部の構成は、供給口40側にはキャスター無し小径車輪31L・31Rを左右端に、エンジン10側にはキャスター付車輪32を中央に夫々をフレーム体50の下面に締結固定した構成である。
なお、キャスター付車輪32には、ブレーキレバー33により機械の移動、固定を可能にする構造を織り込んでいる。

【発明の効果】
