大地震が発生すると、小売店、大型スーパーなどの室内外を問わず、床面に設置された自動販売機が倒れることがある。周知のように自動販売機が倒れる場合は、地震に対して傾倒あるいは転倒防止手段が十分になされていないからである。

ところで、自動販売機が倒れる場合は、その設置条件、構造上などの理由から慨して開閉扉がある前方側に倒れる。自動販売機が地震により前方側に倒れると、少くとも見本品を展示収納する透明部が破損し、使用に耐えない結果となる。そこで、現在、大地震が発生しても自動販売機が前方側に容易に倒れない自動販売機用転倒防止装置の出現が要望されている。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、図1乃至図6に示す第1実施例に基づき、本発明の実施の形態を説明する。図1は転倒防止装置1を自動販売機2の底壁3の前端部に取り付けた状態を示す概略説明図である。図2は転倒防止装置1を平面側から見た状態の説明図である。図3は転倒防止装置1を正面側から見た状態の説明図である。転倒防止装置1は、自動販売機の下部に1個又は2個適宜に固定されるものであるが、望ましくは自動販売機2の底壁3の前端部の左右に一対設けるべきである。本実施例では説明の便宜上、転倒防止装置1を自動販売機2の底壁3の前端部の右側端部寄りの部位に取り付けた場合を図示している。したがって、符号4は自動販売機1の右側前端部に普通一般に取り付けられたガタ防止用調整手段である。
