【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、ガラス板に孔を明けずコーナー目地部を支持金具で締付挟持して支持するガラス板の支持金具、及び支持構造並びに施工方法に関する。

【従来の技術】
ガラス板の取付工法としては、各種の工法が知られており、並設した複数枚の面ガラスの縦目地部にリブガラスを立設させたガラスリブ工法、あるいは、サッシフレームを表に出さず構造用シーリング材でガラスを接着固定するSSG工法等の他、フレ−ムレスなガラススクリ−ンを構成する工法としては、ガラス板の四隅に設けた穿孔部を支持金具で支持する点支持工法や、ガラス板間の縦横の目地部を利用してガラス板を金具で挟持して支持する点支持工法等が現在良く知られており、近年注目されている。

前記ガラスに孔明けするタイプの点支持工法は、ガラス板の四隅部に穿設部を設け、立設する構造支柱等に固着のロッド等にX字状やH字状に延びるアームを備えた支持金具を取り付け、該アーム先端に設けた支持部材によってガラス板のコーナー部を支持するものである。

また、ガラス板の四隅部に孔を明けないでガラス板を支持する構造として、例えば、特開平9−317072号公報には、面一に上下左右に配設された4枚の矩形の板状部材のなす十字目地部の上側の左右の板状部材を、支持棒を介在させて外部支持部材及び内部支持部材により挟持して支持する板状部材支持構造において、上側の左右の板状部材は、上記十字目地部の近傍において、それぞれ別々の支持棒により、それぞれ別々の載置部材を介在させて支持されており、かつ載置部材は外部支持部材に対して回動可能に取り付けられている板状部材支持構造が開示されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
前記リブガラス板を用いてガラススクリーンを形成する場合においては、通常ガラス板1枚分の高さまでに限定され、ガラス板を横方向に並設するのみであったので、大面積のガラススクリーンを形成するのは困難である。

また、前記ガラスの隅部に孔明けするタイプの点支持工法では、ガラス板を縦横に複数枚並設できるので、大面積のガラススクリーンを形成できるが、ガラス板の四隅に精度良く孔明け加工を必要とするものであった。

一方、ガラス板に孔を明けずにガラス板の十字状目地部を支持する構造として、前記特開平9−317072号公報に示されるものや図7で示した支持構造を始めとして殆どのものが、4枚のガラス板をすべて納めるまでは別な手段でガラス板を保持したりし、その後で、前面側から締付金具等を装着させていたため、手間が掛かるものであったり、人手で支えればガラス板が落下したりする危険性があり、危険が伴う作業であるという問題点があった。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、上記問題点の解決を図る、すなわち大面積のガラススクリーンを形成する場合に、ガラス板に孔を明けずにガラス板の支持を確実として、重量物であるガラス板の自重や面外方向の荷重等に対しても強度を低下させることがなく、ガラス板を嵌め込む前に前面側の支持金具を取付けすることができ、しかも別途支持しなくてもが支持不要で、取り付けたガラス板が落下することがなく、作業性が良く、作業中の落下等もなく、安全に取付施工することができ、地震等による層間変位の発生によるガラス板のロッキングによってガラス板が傾動しても、支持金具のガラス板の支持部もガラス板の挙動に追従可能であり、ガラス板を破損させないようにするものである。

すなわち、本発明は、上下左右に並設し立設する複数枚のガラス板の各下端コーナー突き合わせ部をガラス受部材で支持し、かつ前後両面より前面側金具と裏面側金具との螺合によって締付支持するガラス板の支持金具において、前記ガラス受部材は裏面側金具にて支持され、前面側金具が1/4円以上、半円未満迄の切欠部を有する前面板材と、該前面板材の中心に固着し裏面板材の雌ネジ部と螺合するボルト部と、前面板材の円弧部と外接螺合する前面カバー材とからなり、前面板材の取付後に切欠部よりガラス板を取付可能にしたことを特徴とするガラス板の支持金具である。

さらに、本発明は、上述の支持金具を用いて、上下左右に並設し立設する複数枚のガラス板の各下端コーナー突き合わせ部をガラス受部材で支持し、かつガラス板の両面より前面側金具と裏面側金具との螺合によって締付支持するガラス板の支持構造において、前記ガラス受部材は裏面側金具に固着または支持され、ガラス板のコーナー突き合わせ部の前面より1/4円以上1/2円未満の切欠部を有した前面板材に垂設したボルト部を、構造体に連結固着した裏面側金具の裏面板材と螺合させてガラス板を締付支持し、前記切欠部を有した前面板材の外周部に前面カバー材を螺合させ、ガラス受部材のガラス板下端との当接部に硬質樹脂からなるバックアップ材を設け、ガラス板面と前面板材、および裏面側金具間の周縁部には弾性材からなるリング状のパッキンを設け、該パッキンの外周部にシール材を充填した構造としたことを特徴とするガラス板の支持構造である。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明は、図8〜図10に示すように、建物の外壁用として、立設する複数枚のガラス板1、1、・・を上下左右に並設し、該ガラス板1、1、・・の隣接するコーナー突き合わせ目地部5の室内外の両面側より該コーナー部の端部を孔明けせずに締付挟持により支持する支持金具2および支持構造、並びにその施工方法に関するものである。

本発明のガラス板の支持金具として、まず図6に示すようにガラス受部材30が固定タイプであるが、上下左右に並設し立設する複数枚のガラス板1、1、・・の各下端コーナー突き合わせ部は、ガラス受部材30で支持され、かつ前後両面より前面側金具10と裏面側金具20との螺合によって締付支持する支持金具2であって、前記ガラス受部材30が裏面側金具20に直接固着され、前面側金具10が、1/4円以上1/2円未満の切欠部11aを有する前面板材11と、該前面板材11の中心に固着し裏面板材21に設けた雌ネジ部と螺合するボルト部12と、前面板材11の外周の円弧状部に設けた螺刻部11bと外接し、螺合する前面カバー材13からなる支持金具2から構成される。

ガラス受部材30は、裏面側金具20に直接固着されたものを示したが、裏面側金具20に着脱自在に支持されるようにしてもよい。

図1乃至図4に示すように、本発明の支持金具2は、ガラス板1の下端コーナー部を支持する前記ガラス受部材30が、並設したガラス板1、1間の十字状目地部中心に挿通したヒンジ機構を有し、該ヒンジ機構はヒンジ部31の環状体の外周面に固着させた一対の支持板32、32を有し、ガラス板1、1の突き合わせコーナー部の裏面側に介在させる前記裏面側金具20が、裏面板材21とその中心に固着し前記ガラス受部材30のヒンジ部31の環状体に内接する筒状部とからなり、前面側金具10の前記切欠部11aを有する前面板材11と、該前面板材11が、該前面板材11の中心に固着し裏面板材21の雌ネジと螺合するボルト部12と、前面板材11の円弧部11bと外接し螺合する前面カバー材13とからなり、ガラス板1の取付前に前面板材11を取付可能にしたものである。

前記裏面板材21に配設した一対の支持ピン24、24は、左右の支持板32、32の下面の裏面側金具20側の端部近傍を当接支持し、ガラス板1、1、・・の揺動によっても当接しない長さとすると良い。
本発明の支持構造としては、図6に示すように、上述の支持金具2を用いて、上下左右に並設し立設する複数枚のガラス板1、1、・・の各下端コーナー突き合わせ部をガラス受部材30で支持し、かつガラス板1のコーナー部の両面より前面側金具10と裏面側金具20との螺合によって締付支持するガラス板の支持構造において、前記ガラス受部材30は裏面側金具に固着されており、ガラス板1のコーナー突き合わせ部の前面より1/4円以上1/2円未満の切欠部を有した前面板材11に垂設したボルト部12を、構造柱に連結固着した裏面側金具20の裏面板材21と螺合させてガラス板1を締付支持し、前記切欠部11aを有した前面板材11の外周部に前面カバー材13を螺合させ、ガラス受部材30のガラス板1の下端との当接部に硬質樹脂からなるバックアップ材3を設け、ガラス板1の各面と前面板材11、および裏面側金具20間の周縁部には弾性材からなるリング状のパッキン4、4’を設け、該パッキン4、4’の外周部にはシール材9’、9を充填した構造とした。

また、図1乃至図4に示したガラス板の支持構造は、前記図6に示したガラス受け部材30を裏面側金具20に固定したものに較べて、可動できるようにしたので、層間変位に対応し易く好ましい。

ガラス受部材30の支持板32、32の形状は、平板状でも良いが、ガラス板1、1の荷重に充分耐えられるように断面がコ字状の下向きのチャンネル状とするのが好ましい。この場合の支持ピン24としては頭部と棒状部からなるものとすると良く、支持ピン24の棒状部をチャンネル状の支持板32の端部に当接させて、支持ピン24の径の大きな頭部をコ字状の開口部内に収めるようにした。

続いて、本発明のガラス板の施工方法について説明する。

図1、図6に示すように、本発明のガラス板の施工方法は、上下左右に並設し立設する複数枚のガラス板1、1、・・の隣接するコーナー部を突き合わせた十字状目地部を両面より前面側部材10と裏面側部材20とで挟持して支持する施工方法であるが、ガラス板1、1、・・の両面より挟持して設ける前面側金具10と裏面側金具20を螺合により仮に取り付けた後に、ガラス板1を1枚づつ取り付けていく方法である。

ガラス板1の前面側金具10は、切欠部11aの大きさが1/4円以上1/2円未満とした前面板材11と、前面板材11と螺合によって結合可能な前面カバー材13とからなり、裏面側金具20は従来より用いられた金具をはじめとして前面板材11のボルト部12と螺合し、ガラス板1を締付できる形状であれば、どんな形状であってもよい。

ガラス板1を取り付けする前に、切欠部11aを有した前面板材11で仮締めしておき、裏面側金具20と螺合させて仮固定させる。
