本発明は、既製の着物を出発材料として、これに変更を加えて新たな洋服感覚で着ることのできる服に関する。

【従来の技術】
今、盛んに行われているフリーマーケットや骨董市に行くと、絵羽織、長着などの着物が古着として山積みになって売られています。これらは、入学式、卒業式、お葬式、法事などで将来必要になるであろうと、嫁ぐ娘に両親が血を吐く思いで作って持たせてくれたものばかりです。
しかし、時代の変化と共に、着物を着る習慣は薄れつつあり、日本の伝統が消えてしまう危機を感じます。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
そこで、本発明者は、これら着物のすたれる原因は着付けの面倒さ等にあるものと考え、これら着物の古着を基としつつ、これに一定の改良を加えることによって、着付けの要らない洋服感覚で着られ、しかし、準日本風の雰囲気を残した服の縫製方法を発明したものである。
【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明の古着を基とした新しい洋服の作成方法は、黒絵羽織の古着を対象とし、予めワンピース状にデザインした前型紙及び後型紙を作成し、その前型紙には、該古着の前身頃、及び古着のマチと不足する部分を新しい布で補って形成した新たてえり部を、充当し、後型紙にはそのまま古着の後身頃を充当して、該型紙に則って裁断し、ワンピース用の新前身頃と新後身頃を形成し、新袖部には、古着の袖を充当し、新衿部は、上記古着の前身頃と上記新たてえり部の境に、古着の衿の内側端部を縫い付けてなり、上記古着の前身頃とたてえり部とからなる新前身頃と、新後身頃と上記新衿部と新袖部を縫製して、衿が羽織り風となったワンピース状の新しい洋服を得ることを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の対象となる古着は、黒絵羽織である。
該黒絵羽織は、図１及び図２に示す如くで、前身頃１ａ，１ｂ及び後身頃２ａ，２ｂの隅にマチ３ａ，３ｂを備え、両脇に袖４ａ，４ｂを配し、中央に衿５を備えるのが一般的である。
これを分解して、前身頃２枚、後身頃２枚、袖２枚、衿１枚、袖口布２枚、マチ２枚とする。すべてを分解するのが原則であるが、必要な部分だけを分解して用いることもある。

次いで、予めワンピース状にデザインした型紙、前型紙（図３参照）及び後型紙（図４参照）を作成しておく。
このワンピース状のデザインとは、上記黒絵羽織を分解した布で縫製可能で、且つ、装着が簡単な洋風を狙ってワンピース状のデザインとしたものである。

該型紙に合わせて布を用意するが、先ず、図５に示す如く、前型紙に合わせて上記古着の前身頃１ａ、１ｂ及び古着のマチ３ａ、３ｂを揃えるが、それだけでは不足するので、新しい布で、新たてえり部を補う中間部６を揃え古着のマチ３ａ、３ｂと新しい布の中間部６で新たてえり部を形成し、全体で前型紙に充当する。後型紙には、図６に示す如く、古着の後身頃２ａ、２ｂをあてるが、該新後身頃は充分に広いので、それだけで後型紙に充当することができる。

上記前型紙及び後型紙に合わせて、縫い代を付けて裁断する。

次いで、新袖部を付けるが、該袖部は直線状の為、黒絵羽織の袖４ａ、４ｂを、そのまま用いることができる。但し、丈の長短を調整したり、袖の丸みを大きくしたりすることは自由である。

次いで、新衿部も、直線状とする為、黒絵羽織の衿５をそのまま用いることができる。但し、長い場合には切断し、不足する場合には新しい布を補うものとする。

【発明の効果】
