【発明が解決しようとする課題】

本発明のテープカートリッジは、図2および図3に示すごとく箱状の本体ケース1の内部に一個のリール2が配置されており、リール2に巻かれた磁気テープ3の繰り出し端にリーダーテープ4が接続されている単リール型の磁気テープカートリッジを対象とする。そこでは、図1に示すごとくリーダーテープ4の遊端に設けた連結部10の上下縁に掛止片12が突出形成されており、本体ケース1のテープ引出口5に、掛止片12を受け止めてリーダーテープ4の過剰巻き込みを防ぐストッパー13が設けられている。そしてストッパー13が、本体ケース1と一体形成されたリブ状の突起14であり、突起14が掛止片12の衝突衝撃を受けると弾性変形することで、衝突衝撃を緩和吸収するようにしてあることを特徴とする。
