【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、複数の遊技機を列設して成る遊技機島において、遊技機列上方に位置する島上段側の長手方向に延びる外壁を構成する幕板に関する。

【従来の技術】
通常、複数のパチンコ機を島フレーム枠に列設して成る遊技機島では、パチンコ機列上に島上段の外壁をなす幕板が設けられる。かかる幕板は、パチンコ機数台を合わせた長さ寸法に設計されたユニットを複数並設して成り、個々のユニットは、それぞれ島フレーム枠の上部にヒンジを介して開閉可能に装着される。幕板をなす各ユニットは、それぞれ矩形状の枠組に化粧板等の板材を嵌込むようにして構成されていた。

また、幕板の板材表面には、遊技設備のメーカー名や遊技店名等の広告文字や絵柄を直接記したようなものもあり、遊技店内にて幕板は一種の広告板としての役割も果していた。更に、幕板の枠組に厚さをもたせて板材を二重構造とし、前後の板材間に蛍光灯等を組込むように構成し、電飾効果を持たせたようなタイプの幕板もあった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、前述したような従来の幕板では、その板材の切断は比較的容易であるとしても、枠組は予め所定の大きさに規格化されて構成されたものであり、その長さを変更することは非常に困難であった。ところが、島上段に幕板を装着するにあたって、個々の幕板ユニットを並設した長さと島全長が実際には合わないようなことが多々あり、かかる事態に対処するには、結局、特別な寸法の幕板の枠組を新たに用意しなければならず、その作製に時間がかかり、大幅なコストアップを招くという問題点があった。

また、幕板の板材表面に記した広告文字や絵柄を変えたいような場合、板材表面を塗り替えたり、板材自体を交換したりする必要があって非常に面倒であった。その結果、幕板上の広告文字等を頻繁に変えるようなことはできず、遊技店内の景観が単調となり易く、変化に乏しかった。

また、幕板に蛍光灯等を組込むか組込まないかにより、幕板の基本構造は全く異なったものとなり、ほとんどの組立て部材は別物となって共通化することができなかった。更にまた、通常は幕板自体には、パチンコ機の台番号プレートや呼出しランプ等の関連部品を組み付けられるようなスペースは設定されておらず、これらの関連部品の取付けスペースを、パチンコ機列と幕板との間に特別に用意しなければならなかった。

本発明は、以上のような従来技術の有する問題点に着目してなされたもので、島全長に合せて長さを容易に調整することができ、また、広告文字や絵柄を記した情報伝達媒体を簡単に交換することができ、また、組立て部品を代えることなく発光源を組込むことが容易であり、しかも、遊技機の関連部品を簡単に装着することもできる遊技機島の幕板を提供することを目的としている。

【課題を解決するための手段】
前述した目的を達成するための本発明の要旨とするところは、次の請求項に存する。
【０００９】
１複数の遊技機（１２）を列設して成る遊技機島（１０）において、遊技機列上方に位置する島上段側の長手方向に延びる外壁を構成する幕板（２０）であって、
島上段側を覆う薄板状のフロントパネル（２１）と、
前記フロントパネル（２１）の形状に合致するよう形成され、該パネル（２０）上に配した情報伝達媒体（２２）を挟むようにパネル（２０）に重ね合される透明カバー（２３）と、
切断容易な材質で押出し成形され、長手方向に延びる前側に前記フロントパネル（２１）および透明カバー（２３）の上端縁を嵌合させる上取付溝（３１）が設けられ、島上段側にヒンジ（６０）を介して上下に回動自在に取付けられる上枠部材（３０）と、
同じく切断容易な材質で押出し成形され、長手方向に延びる前側に前記フロントパネル（２１）および透明カバー（２３）の下端縁を嵌合させる下取付溝（３６）が設けられた下枠部材（３５）と、
前記上枠部材（３０）および下枠部材（３５）の両端間をそれぞれ上下に連結する一対のサイドフレーム（４０，４０）と、
前記フロントパネル（２１）、透明カバー（２３）、上枠部材（３０）および下枠部材（３５）のそれぞれの両端、それにサイドフレーム（４０）に被せるように装着する一対のエンドキャップ（５０，５０）と、
前記幕板（２０）のフロントパネル（２１）内側の支持体（７１）に発光源（７０）を設け、前記一対のサイドフレーム（４０，４０）に、前記支持体（７１）を着脱自在に取付けられる取付ブラケット（４１）を設けたことを特徴とする遊技機島（１０）の幕板（２０）。

次に前述した解決手段に基づく作用を説明する。
請求項記載の幕板（２０）を作製するには、先ず、必要な幕板（２０）の長さに応じて上枠部材（３０）と下枠部材（３５）を所望の長さに切断する。これらの各枠部材（３０，３５）は切断容易な材質で押出し成形されたものであり、簡単に切断できて自由に長さを調整できる。また、各枠部材（３０，３５）の長さに応じてフロントパネル（２１）や透明カバー（２３）も切断しておく。

次に、前記上枠部材（３０）および下枠部材（３５）の両端間を、それぞれ上下方向と平行に配した一対のサイドフレーム（４０，４０）で連結して矩形枠を形成する。そして、重ね合わせたフロントパネル（２１）および透明カバー（２３）の上端縁を上枠部材（３０）の上取付溝（３１）に嵌合させ、かつそれぞれの下端縁を下枠部材（３５）の下取付溝（３６）に嵌合させて、前記矩形枠にパネル等を装着する。

このとき、フロントパネル（２１）と透明カバー（２３）の間に広告文字や絵柄等を記した紙等の情報伝達媒体（２２）を挟めるとよい。フロントパネル（２１）と透明カバー（２３）は前記矩形枠から簡単に外すことができ、情報伝達媒体（２２）は随時入れ換えることができる。パネル等を矩形枠に装着したら、前記フロントパネル（２１）、透明カバー（２３）、上枠部材（３０）および下枠部材（３５）のそれぞれの両端と、サイドフレーム（４０）にエンドキャップ（５０）を被せると、幕板（２０）は島に装着できる形となる。

また、請求項記載の幕板（２０）によれば、フロントパネル（２１）内側に発光源（７０）を設けたから、照明効果を付与することができ島上段側の装飾性も高められる。個々で発光源（７０）は、支持体（７１）に蛍光灯（７２）を装着して構成すれば構造上簡易であり、その支持体（７１）を着脱自在に取付けられる取付ブラケット（４１）を前記一対のサイドフレーム（４０）に設ければ、幕板（２０）内に発光源（７０）を簡単に組込むことができ、また取り外すことも容易となる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、図面に基づき本発明の各種の実施形態を説明する。
図１〜図１７は本発明の第１の実施形態を示している。
図５に示すように、遊技機島１０を構成する支持枠１１の下部外側には、腰板１４が取付けられており、その上には天板１５が固定されている。天板１５の上には、複数のパチンコ機（遊技機）１２，１２…が列設されており、各パチンコ機１２，１２…の間には、遊技媒体であるパチンコ球を給付する球貸機１３が介装されている。

各パチンコ機１２の上部には呼出しランプ１６が取付けられている。呼出しランプ１６は、パチンコ機１２のフィバー状態や異常発生の際に点灯して、遊技場の店員に知らせるためのものである。なお、本実施形態では、各パチンコ機１２等は１列に列設されているが、各パチンコ機１２等を背中合せに２列となるよう列設して構成してもよい。

支持枠１１内の上部には、各パチンコ機１２，１２…に球を供給する給配樋（図示せず）等の関連設備が内設されており、パチンコ機列上方には、島上部内の関連設備を隠蔽する幕板２０が設けられている。個々の幕板２０は基本的には、２台のパチンコ機１２に球貸機１３を合わせた横幅にほぼ対応した長さに設定されており、パチンコ機列上に沿って長手方向に延びるように複数並設されている。

図１および図２に示すように幕板２０は、互いに重ね合わせるフロントパネル２１および透明カバー２３と、これらを装着する矩形枠をなす上枠部材３０、下枠部材３５、一対のサイドフレーム４０，４０、それにサイドフレーム４０等に嵌着する一対のエンドキャップ５０，５０を具備して成る。また、フロントパネル２１と透明カバー２３との間には情報伝達媒体２２が挟められている。

フロントパネル２１は、島上段側を覆い得る部材であり、図示したように矩形状の薄板を前方へ出っ張るように湾曲させて成形される。例えば、不透明なＡＢＳ樹脂で成形するとよい。なお、フロントパネル２１の内側に後述する発光源７０を設けるか否かにより、フロントパネル２１の厚さを変えて透光性を最適な具合に設定するとよい。

透明カバー２３は、前記フロントパネル２１の形状に合致するよう形成され、フロントパネル２０上に配した情報伝達媒体２２を挟むようにパネル２０に重ね合せる部材である。例えば、塩化ビニル樹脂等で成形するとよい。情報伝達媒体２２とは、例えば広告文字や絵柄等を記した紙等が該当する。なお、フロントパネル２１と透明カバー２３は、それぞれ容易に所望の長さに容易に切断することができる。

上枠部材３０は、各種合成樹脂やアルミ軽合金等の切断容易な材質で、図示した断面形状に押出し成形されたものである。詳しく言えば図２に示すように、上枠部材３０の長手方向に延びた前側上端には、前記フロントパネル２１および透明カバー２３の各上端縁を嵌合させる上取付溝３１が設けられ、前側下端には前段部３２が設けられている。また、上枠部材３０の長手方向に延びた後側上端には後段部３３が設けられ、後側下端には、必要に応じて装着する背面プレート９０の上端縁を嵌合させる背面プレート用上取付溝３４が設けられている。

下枠部材３５は、前記上枠部材３０と同様に合成樹脂やアルミ軽合金等の切断容易な材質で、図示した断面形状に押出し成形されたものである。詳しく言えば図２に示すように、下枠部材３５の長手方向に延びた前側上端には、前記フロントパネル２１および透明カバー２３の各下端縁を嵌合させる下取付溝３６が設けられ、その少し後側には段部３７が設けられている。また、下取付溝３６下方の前面側には、パチンコ機１２の関連部品を装着できる取付面３８が設けられている。

また、下枠部材３５の後側下端には、前記背面プレート９０の下端縁を嵌合させる背面プレート用下取付溝３９が設けられている。なお、下枠部材３５の最後端縁は、上方へ持上げた幕板２０を閉じる際に、支持枠１１に弾発的に係合して衝撃を緩和するダンパーの役目を果すようになっている。

一対のサイドフレーム４０，４０は、前記上枠部材３０および下枠部材３５の両端間をそれぞれ上下に連結する部材である。更に詳しく言えば、サイドフレーム４０は、前記各枠部材３０，３５より剛性のある材質によりＬ字形断面に加工され、幕板２０の上下幅に合致する長さに予め設定されている。サイドフレーム４０の上下端は、それぞれ前記上枠部材３０の前段部３２、下枠部材３５の段部３７に固着される。

一対のエンドキャップ５０，５０は、前記フロントパネル２１、透明カバー２３、上枠部材３０および下枠部材３５のそれぞれの両端、それにサイドフレーム４０に被せるように装着するものである。このエンドキャップ５０は合成樹脂の一体成形品である。

詳しく言えば、エンドキャップ５０は、サイドフレーム４０やフロントパネル２１等に囲まれた幕板２０の端面形状に合致する側面部５１と、その端縁に沿って形成されたフランジ部５２とから成り、側面部５１の裏面側には縦横に延びる補強用リブが形成され、また随所に、各枠部材３０，３５やサイドフレーム４０にねじ止めするためのねじ孔が設けられている。

また、本実施形態に係る幕板２０には発光源７０が内設されている。図１に示すように、発光源７０は、略台形断面の支持体７１に２本の蛍光灯７２を装着して構成される。支持体７１の互いに直角となる上下前面部には、それぞれ蛍光灯７２を取付けるソケットが固結されており、ソケットは電源に接続される。前記一対のサイドフレーム４０，４０に、前記支持体７１を着脱自在に取付けられる取付ブラケット４１，４１が設けられている。

一対の取付ブラケット４１，４１は、略コ字形断面の部材であり、互いに溝がある側が対向するように、各サイドフレーム４０の略中央に直角に前方へ延びるよう予め固着されている。各取付ブラケット４１には、支持体７１の端部を上から嵌合させるようにして簡単に取付けられる切欠４２が設けられている。

前記下枠部材３５の取付面３８に装着する関連部品は、本実施形態では台番号ベース８０と台番号プレート８５である。図９〜図１１に示すように、台番号ベース８０は合成樹脂の一体成形品であり、矩形状のベース本体８１の中央部分に、台番号プレート８５を交換可能に取付けられるプレート取付部８２が形成されている。ベース本体８１の裏面側にはリブの他にねじの取付孔８３が形成されている。プレート取付部８２は、台番号プレート８５の形状にちょうど合致して凹むように形成され、その両端には嵌合溝８４，８４が形成されている。

台番号プレート８５は平板状の部材であり、表面には各パチンコ機１２に対応する台番号が記されている。この台番号プレート８５の両端には、前記プレート取付部８２の嵌合溝８４，８４に着脱自在に嵌合する係止片８６，８６が設けられている。なお、下枠部材３５の取付面３８には、前記台番号ベース８０や台番号プレート８５の他、小型化した呼出しランプ等の関連部品を取付けるようにしてもよい。

以上のような幕板２０は、その上枠部材３０が支持枠１１の島上段側にヒンジ６０を介して上下に開閉自在に取付けられている。図１４〜図１７に示すように、ヒンジ６０は、ヒンジ本体６１と、レッドピン６４を固着した操作レバー６５と、コイルスプリング６７と、ストッパー６８とを具備して成る。ヒンジ本体６１は円筒部６２と取付片６３とから成り、取付片６３が前記上枠部材３０の後段部３３に固着される。

円筒部６２の途中には、支持枠１１に固設したヒンジレール１８の枢支ブラケット１９が、回動可能に嵌合する枢着溝６２ａが形成されている。この枢着溝６２ａから円筒部６２の一端側まで、円筒部６２の長手方向に沿って延びるガイド溝６２ｂが形成されている。操作レバー６５は、ヒンジ本体６１の円筒部６２内に移動可能に挿入される内装部６６と、これに一体に連なる操作部６７とから成り、操作部６７側は、円筒部６２の枢着溝６２ａを通って外側に出ており、指で枢着溝６２ａに沿って動かすことができる。

操作レバー６５の内装部６６は、その端面より軸芯方向に突出したレッドピン６４がヒンジ本体６１の枢着溝６２ａを横切り、該枢着溝６２ａに嵌合した枢支ブラケット１９に挿通するロック状態と、レッドピン６４が枢着溝６２ａを横切らないように引っ込むロック解除状態とに移動可能となっている。操作レバー６５の内装部６６は、同じく円筒部６２内に挿入されたコイルスプリング６７によって、通常はロック状態となるよう付勢されている。なお、円筒部６２の一端側には、内部の内装部６６やコイルスプリング６７が抜け出るのを防ぐストッパー６８が嵌着されている。

次に作用を説明する。
図１に示すように幕板２０を作製するには、先ず必要な幕板２０の長さに応じて上枠部材３０と下枠部材３５を所望の長さに切断する。これらの上下の枠部材３０，３５は切断容易な合成樹脂等で押出し成形されたものであり、簡単に切断でき自由に長さを調整できる。また、上下の枠部材３０，３５の長さに応じて、フロントパネル２１や透明カバー２３も適宜切断しておく。

本実施形態では、幕板２０の取扱いの便宜等を考慮して、図５に示すように、個々の幕板２０は基本的には、２台のパチンコ機１２に球貸機１３を合わせた横幅にほぼ対応した長さに設定している。次に、前記上枠部材３０および下枠部材３５の両端間を、それぞれ上下方向と平行に配した一対のサイドフレーム４０，４０で連結して矩形枠を形成する。図２に示すように、各サイドフレーム４０の上下端は、それぞれ前記上枠部材３０の前段部３２、下枠部材３５の段部３７に位置決めしてねじで固着する。

そして、重ね合わせたフロントパネル２１および透明カバー２３の上端縁を上枠部材３０の上取付溝３１に嵌合させ、かつそれぞれの下端縁を下枠部材３５の下取付溝３６に嵌合させて、前記矩形枠にパネル２１等を装着する。このとき、フロントパネル２１と透明カバー２３の間に、広告文字や絵柄等を記した紙等の情報伝達媒体２２を挟めるとよい。

フロントパネル２１と透明カバー２３は前記矩形枠から簡単に外すことができ、情報伝達媒体２２は随時入れ換えることができる。このように幕板２０を広告板として活用することができる。また本実施形態では、パネル２１等を矩形枠に装着する前に、発光源７０を組込むようになっている。フロントパネル２１内側に発光源７０を設けることで、幕板２０自体に照明効果を付与することができ、島上段側の装飾性も高められる。

図１に示す如く発光源７０は、支持体７１に蛍光灯７２を装着して構成され構造上簡易である。一対のサイドフレーム４０，４０には予め取付ブラケット４１，４１が設けられており、各取付ブラケット４１の切欠４２に、支持体７１の端部を上から嵌合させるだけで、幕板２０内に発光源７０を簡単に組込むことができ、また取り外すことも容易である。なお、支持体７１は矩形枠の剛性を高める役割も果すが、前記上下の枠部材３０，３５と同様に、容易に所望の長さに切断できる材質で形成される。

フロントパネル２１等を矩形枠に装着したら、前記フロントパネル２１、透明カバー２３、上枠部材３０および下枠部材３５のそれぞれの両端と、サイドフレーム４０にエンドキャップ５０を被せる。これで幕板２０は遊技機島１０の支持枠１１に装着できる形となる。以上のような幕板２０の組立てと前後して、遊技機島１０の支持枠１１の上端にはヒンジレール１８を取付けておく。

幕板２０を支持枠１１に取付ける場合、図１４〜図１７に示したヒンジ６０を、予め前記上枠部材３０の後段部３３に固着しておく。ヒンジ６０の操作レバー６５を、コイルスプリング６７の付勢力に抗してロック解除状態にしながら、ヒンジ本体６１の枢着溝６２ａに、島側のヒンジレール１８にある枢支ブラケット１９を嵌合させる。そして前記操作レバー６５をロック状態にすると、レッドピン６４が枢着溝６２ａを横切るようにして、枢支ブラケット１９を枢支した状態に固定される。

それにより、幕板２０は、ヒンジ６０のレッドピン６４を回動中心として、支持枠１１に対し開閉可能に装着される。なお、幕板２０を支持枠１１から外す場合には、コイルスプリング６７の付勢力に抗して前記操作レバー６５を指で動かし、ロック解除状態にすればよい。かかるロック解除状態では、ヒンジ６０を枢支ブラケット１９から簡単に外すことができる。

個々の幕板２０は、図５に示したように、島上段側にてパチンコ機列上に沿うように複数並設するが、各幕板２０を合せた長さをちょうど島上段側全長に合致させる必要がある。ところで前述したように、幕板２０はその構成部品を簡単に切断でき長さ調整が容易なため、少なくとも何れか一つ幕板２０を調整用の長さに施工現場ですぐに設定し直し、極めて簡単に島全長の長さにぴったり対応させることができる。

以上のような幕板構造によって、支持枠１１内の上部に配設されている各種設備構造は、外側からは見えないように隠蔽される。また、個々の幕板２０を構成する下枠部材３５の前側には、台番号ベース８０および台番号プレート８５を装着できる取付面３８を設けたから、これらの関連部品やその他呼出しランプ等の取付けスペースも確実に確保することができる。

支持枠１１内の給配樋等で球詰まりが発生したり、その他の内部設備のメンテナンス等の際には、該当箇所にある幕板２０を、そのまま上方へ持上げるようにして開け、支持枠１１内を覗いたり点検することができる。そして、支持枠１１内での球詰まりを解消したり、メンテナンス等を行なった後、幕板２０を元の状態に戻すべく閉じるには、そのまま幕板２０を下方に下げればよい。

図１８は本発明の第２実施形態を示している。
本実施形態に係る幕板２０Ａは、基本的には前記第１実施形態に係る幕板２０と共通するが、発光源７０を組込んでいない点等が異なる。なお、第１実施形態と同種の部位については同一符号を付し、重複した説明は省略する。

幕板２０Ａの矩形枠には背面プレート９０が装着されている。背面プレート９０の上端縁は上枠部材３０の背面プレート用上取付溝３４に嵌合し、背面プレート９０の下端縁は下枠部材３５の背面プレート用下取付溝３９に嵌合している（図２参照）。かかる背面プレート９０は、前記矩形枠を補強するための部材である。また、本実施形態では発光源７０を設けない分、フロントパネル２１の透光性はあまり問題とならず、厚さが幾分か薄目に設定されている。

以上のように、幕板２０Ａ自体に発光源７０を設けない場合でも、幕板２０Ａの主要な構成部品は前述した幕板２０と共通化されるので、発光源７０の組込みの有無に応じて異なる規格の構成部品を全く別に用意する必要はない。

なお、本発明に係る幕板は、前記各種実施形態で説明した具体的構成に限定されるものではない。

【発明の効果】
本発明に係る遊技機島の幕板によれば、その長さを決定する上枠部材や下枠部材等の構成部品を簡単に切断できるから、極めて容易に長さを適宜変更することが可能であり、島全長の長さにぴったりと対応させることができる。また、フロントパネル内側の支持体に発光源を設けることで幕板自体に照明効果を付与することができ、島上段側の装飾性も高められる。

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
