このような建築板(1A)を使用して外壁を構築するには、例えば壁躯体柱(18)の外側に止着した横胴縁(19)に接合金具(5A)を取付け、該接合金具(5A)によって上下一対の建築板(1A)を接合し固定する。
該接続金具(5A)は上下基板(6A,7A)と、該上下基板(6A,7A) 間に一体的に設けられる板受け部(8A)とからなり、該板受け部(8A)は断面人形状の基幹部(9A)と、該基幹部(9A)の頂部から上下にわたって差出されている庇部(10A) とからなり該庇部(10A) の上下内側と上下基板(6A,7A) との間に上下嵌合挟持部(11A,12A) が形成されている。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は上記従来の課題を解決するための手段として、表面に端部にまで達する溝状の凹部(2) が複数本縦方向に沿って並列して形成されている建築板(1) 本体の縦方向両端又は一端を表面から該凹部(2) の深さよりも深く切欠いて嵌合突部(3) を形成した建築板を提供するものである。
更に本発明においては、基板(5) と該基板(5) に立設され両側に嵌合挟持部(10,11) を有する板受け部(6) とからなる接合金具(4) を下地面上に取付け、該接合金具(4) の板受け部(6) の両側の嵌合挟持部(10,11) に、接合する一対の建築板(1) の嵌合突部(3) を夫々嵌合挟持した建築板(1) の接合方法が提供される。そして該方法に使用される該接合金具(4) の嵌合挟持部(10,11) の一方または両方の内側には、該建築板(1) の嵌合突部(3) の端面に当接して該建築板(1) の水平出しまたは垂直出しをするための当接片(15)が差出されていることが望ましい。

【作用】
本発明の建築板(1) はその嵌合突部(3) を下地面上に取付けた接合金具(4) の板受け部(8) の嵌合挟持部(10,11) に嵌合挟持せしめることによって、相互接合されそして下地面上に固定される。
該建築板(1) の嵌合突部(3) は、該建築板(1) の表面の溝状の凹部(2) よりも深く切欠いて形成してあるから、該凹部(2) は該切欠きによって削除され、嵌合突部(3) の表面にまでは達していない。したがって接合金具(4) に該建築板(1) の嵌合突部(3) を嵌合した状態では、当然該接合金具(4) の板受け部(6) の嵌合挟持部(10,11) と、該建築板(1) の嵌合突部(3) の表面とは凹部(2) による間隙は存在しない。
したがって該建築板(1) の凹部(2) を流下する雨水は、該接合金具(4) 内には侵入しない。

本発明では建築板表面の凹部が嵌合突部を切欠き形成する際に該切欠きによって削除されているので、該嵌合突部と接合金具との間に隙間が形成されなくなり、建築板相互の接合部分からの雨水等の侵入が確実に防止される。
