【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、ペーストを収容した容器からペーストを送出するためのペースト送出機構、及びかかるペースト送出機構を備えたペースト練和装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
当業者には周知の如く、歯科用シリコーンラバー印象材は、Si−H基を有するシリコーン及びビニル基を有するシリコーンを主成分とする基材ペーストとビニル基を有するシリコーン及び白金触媒を主成分とする硬化材ペーストとを練和することによって生成され、また歯科用アルギン酸系印象材は、アルギン酸を主成分とする基材ペーストと石膏を主成分とする硬化材ペーストとを練和して生成される。更にまた、その他の歯科用ポリエーテルラバー印象材、歯科用チオコールラバー印象材等も、2種類のペーストを練和して生成される。かような練和に好都合に使用される練和装置としては、本出願人の出願に係る特願平6−180424号(特開平8−24273号)、特願平6−280147号(特開平8−140998号)、特願平8−110582号(特開平9−276295号)、特願平10−290189号、特願平10−324753号及び特願平11−293152号の明細書及び図面に開示されている練和装置を挙げることができる。

上記練和装置は、基材ペーストを送出するための第一のペースト送出機構、硬化材ペーストを送出するための第二のペースト送出機構、及び基材ペーストと硬化材ペーストとを練和するためのペースト練和手段を具備している。基材ペースト及び硬化材ペーストの各々は、ポリエチレン又はポリプロピレンの如き適宜の合成樹脂から形成された比較的剛性の口頸部とポリエチレンシート又はフィルムの如き適宜の合成樹脂シート又はフィルムでよい柔軟な材料から形成された主部とから成る形態の容器に収容されて市販されている。練和装置における第一のペースト送出機構及び第二のペースト送出機構の各々は、ペーストを収容した容器を倒立状態、即ち口頸部を下方に向けた状態で懸架する容器懸架手段と、懸架された容器の口頸部が接続されるペースト送出路と、かかるペースト送出路に配設された吸引手段から構成されている。吸引手段はトコロイドポンプの如き適宜のポンプ手段から構成されている。吸引手段が作動せしめられると、容器からペースト送出路を通して吸引手段にペーストが吸引され、そして吸引手段からペースト流路にペーストが押し出されて練和手段に供給される。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
而して、従来の練和装置、特にそのペースト送出機構には、使用時間の経過に応じて吸引手段によるペースト吸引及び押出能力に変動が生じる、容器内に空気が混入した場合、かかる空気が吸引手段に吸引されて吸引手段の吸引及び押出が不安定になる、等の問題がある。

本発明は上記事実に鑑みてなされたものであり、その主たる技術的課題は、比較的安価に製造することができるにもかかわらず、長期間に渡って安定して作動することができ、容器内に空気が混入した場合でも重大な問題を発生せしめることなく作動することができる、新規且つ改良されたペースト送出機構を提供し、そしてまたかかるペースト送出機構を具備したペースト練和装置を提供することである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明によれば、上記主たる技術的課題を解決するペースト送出機構として、口頸部と柔軟な材料から形成された主部とを有しかつペーストを収容した容器が適用されるペースト送出機構にして、
対向して配設された一対の壁を含み、該一対の壁の少なくとも一方は他方に対して接近及び離隔する方向に移動自在であり、該容器の少なくとも該主部を該一対の壁の間に位置せしめて該容器を受け入れる容器受入手段と、該一対の壁の少なくとも該一方を該他方に接近及び離隔する方向に移動せしめるための壁移動手段とを具備し、該壁移動手段が該一対の壁の少なくとも該一方を該他方に接近せしめる方向に移動せしめて、該一対の壁間に位置せしめられている該容器の該主部を圧潰することによって、該容器に収容されているペーストが該口頸部を通して送出せしめられ、

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明に従って構成されたペースト練和装置の好適実施形態を図示している添付図面を参照して、更に詳細に説明する。

図1及び図2を参照して説明すると、図示のペースト練和装置は略直方体形状のハウジング2を有する。そして、このハウジング2には、2個のペースト送出機構、即ち第一のペースト送出機構4a及び第二のペースト送出機構4bと1個のペースト練和手段6とが配設されている。練和手段6の主部はハウジング2の前壁を貫通して前方に突出せしめられている。かかる練和手段6は、ハウジング2から前方に向かって下方に傾斜して延出せしめられている静止外側ケーシング8とこのケーシング8内に配設された回転攪拌部材(図示していない)とを含んでいる。後に詳述する如く、ケーシング8には第一のペースト送出機構4aから基材ペーストが供給されると共に第二のペースト送出機構4bから硬化材ペーストが供給される。そして、電動モータでよい回転駆動源(図示していない)によって攪拌部材が回転駆動せしめられ、これによってケーシング8を流動する基材ペーストと硬化材ペーストが所要とおりに練和され、ケーシング8の先端即ち下流端から排出される。練和手段6自体の構成は、上記特願平10−290189号又は特願平11−293152号の明細書及び図面に開示されているとおりの形態でよく、それ故に練和手段6自体の構成の詳細な説明は上記特願平10−290189号又は特願平11−293152号の明細書及び図面に委ね、本明細書においては説明を省略する。

基材ペーストと硬化材ペーストとを練和して使用する際には、ハウジング2の前面に配設されている作動ボタン92を押圧する。かくすると、第一のペースト送出機構4aにおける回転駆動源76aが付勢されて、雄ねじ部材52aが所定方向に回転せしめられ、これによって側壁30aが側壁26aに接近する方向に移動せしめられる。従って、容器受入手段12a内において第一の容器86aの主部90aが圧潰され、これによって第一の容器86aの口頸部88aを通して基材ペーストがペースト流路40aに送出され、ペースト流路40aを通して練和手段6に供給される。同様に、第二のペースト送出機構4bにおける回転駆動源76bも付勢されて、雄ねじ部材52bが所定方向に回転せしめられ、これによって側壁30bが側壁26bに接近する方向に移動せしめられる。従って、容器受入手段12b内において第二の容器86bの主部90bが圧潰され、これによって第二の容器86bの口頸部88bを通して硬化材ペーストがペースト流路40bに送出され、ペースト流路40bを通して練和手段6に供給される。第一及び第二の容器86a及び86bからのペーストの送出は、側壁30a及び30bを対向する側壁26a及び26bに向けて移動せしめて容器86a及び86bの主部90a及び90bを圧潰することによって遂行される故に、長期間に渡って安定してペーストの送出を遂行することができ、第一及び第二の容器86a及び86b内に空気が混入した場合でも重大な問題を発生せしめることがない。練和手段6に供給される基材ペーストの量と硬化材ペーストの量とは例えば2乃至3:1程度であることが要求され、従って図示の実施形態では第一のペースト送出機構4aにおける側壁26aの移動速度は第二のペースト送出機構4bにおける側壁26bの移動速度の2乃至3倍程度に設定される。側壁26a及び26bの移動速度は、夫々、ペースト流路40a及び40b内のペーストの圧力を検出する圧力検出器(図示していない)の検出値に基いて回転駆動源76a及び76bの回転速度を制御することによって調整することができる。練和手段6に供給された基材ペーストと硬化材ペーストとは練和手段6において混合せしめられ、練和手段6のケーシング8の先端から排出される。上記作動ボタン92の押圧を解除すると、回転駆動源76a及び76bが除勢され、側壁30a及び30bの移動が停止される。所望ならば、側壁30a及び30bの移動を一旦停止した後に、第一の容器86a及び第二の容器86b内に残留し得る圧力、即ち残圧を解放するために、側壁30a及び30bを逆方向に若干戻り移動せしめることもできる。
