【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、賞味期限のある食品や品質保証期限のある製品などのように製造時からの期限が設定された商品を取り扱う商店向けのＰＯＳ（Point Of Sales：販売時点情報管理）ターミナルや電子式キャッシュレジスタ等の商品販売登録データ処理装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、例えば賞味期限のある食品を取り扱う商店向けの商品販売登録データ処理装置として、商品登録手段により販売登録された商品の賞味期限に関するデータと現在の日時とに基づいて当該商品が賞味期限に到達したか否かを判断し、賞味期限に到達したと判断した場合はその旨を報知するようにして賞味期限が切れた商品を誤って販売してしまうのを防止するようにしたものは知られていた（特開平８−１０１９７４号公報参照）。

また、商品登録手段により販売登録された商品の賞味期限に到達するまでの日時と現在の日時とに基づいて当該商品を値引するか否かを判断し、値引すると判断した場合は自動的に値引処理を行うようにしたものも知られていた（同公報参照）。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、従来のこの種の商品販売登録データ処理装置においては、買物客が買上げる商品のうち賞味期限等のように製造時からの期限がある商品についてその期限までの残り時間を告知するようなものはなかった。このため、買物客の多くは商品購入時にその商品に付された期限を一々調べて適当なものを購入しており、期限の確認作業が面倒であった。

そこで本発明は、販売登録された商品の中で製造時からの期限の設定された商品についてはその期限までの残り時間を買物客に表示することができ、しかも残り時間の長さに応じて買物客に注意を喚起でき、商品購入時に期限を確認し忘れても、期限切れの商品を誤って購入したり期限切れ間近の商品を購入してしまうのを防止できる商品販売登録データ処理装置を提供しようとするものである。

また本発明は、期限切れの商品については買物客の確認の下にその商品の売上データの登録処理を取消すことができる商品販売登録データ処理装置を提供しようとするものである。

さらに本発明は、期限切れ間近の商品については買物客自身によって購入するか否かを選択できる商品販売登録データ処理装置を提供しようとするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、商品登録手段により商品の販売登録が行われると、その販売登録商品の売上データを記憶部に登録処理するとともに当該販売登録商品の情報をオペレータ用ディスプレイ及び客用ディスプレイにそれぞれ表示する商品販売登録データ処理装置に関し、特に、請求項１記載の発明は、客用ディスプレイをカラーディスプレイにするとともに、商品登録手段により販売登録された商品が製造時からの期限の設定された商品であるか否かを判断する判断手段と、この判断手段により製造時からの期限の設定された商品であると判断された商品についてその期限までの残り時間を計算する演算手段と、客用ディスプレイの一画面に、判断手段により製造時からの期限の設定された商品でないと判断された商品については商品名及び単価を表示させ、製造時からの期限の設定された商品であると判断された商品については商品名及び単価とともに演算手段により算出された販売登録商品の期限までの残り時間を示す情報を表示させる表示制御手段と、この表示制御手段により製造時からの期限の設定された商品であると判断された商品に対して客用ディスプレイに表示される期限までの残り時間を示す情報をその残り時間の長さに応じて色分けする残り時間色分け処理手段とを備えたものである。
このような構成により、商品登録手段により販売登録された商品のうち製造時からの期限の設定された商品については、客用ディスプレイに当該販売登録商品の名称とともに期限までの残り時間を示す情報が表示される。この場合において、残り時間を示す情報はその残り時間の長さに応じて色分けされるので、買物客は表示色から期限切れの商品または期限切れ間近の商品であるか否かを容易に判断できる。

また、本願請求項２記載の発明は、客用ディスプレイをタッチセンサパネル付のカラーディスプレイにするとともに、前記演算手段，残り時間表示制御手段及び残り時間色分け処理手段に加えて、演算手段により算出された販売登録商品の期限までの残り時間からすでに期限が過ぎていると判定された商品については、販売登録を取消すことを告知するメッセージを確認ボタンの画像とともに客用ディスプレイに表示させる期限切れ商品表示制御手段と、この期限切れ商品表示制御手段により客用ディスプレイに表示された確認ボタンの画像がタッチ操作されたことに応じて期限が過ぎていると判定された販売登録商品の売上データの登録処理を取消す期限切れ商品取消処理手段とを備えたものである。
このような構成により、商品登録手段により販売登録された商品のうち製造時からの期限が過ぎていると判定された商品については、販売登録を取消すことを告知するメッセージが確認ボタンの画像とともに客用ディスプレイに表示される。ここで、買物客がメッセージを確認し、客用ディスプレイに表示された確認ボタンをタッチ操作すると、この期限が過ぎていると判定された販売登録商品の売上データの登録処理が取消される。

また、本願請求項３記載の発明は、客用ディスプレイをタッチセンサパネル付のディスプレイにするとともに、前記演算手段に加えて、この演算手段により算出された販売登録商品の期限までの残り時間が予め設定されている時間より短いと、その販売登録商品の購入を取消すか否かを客に選択させるメッセージを選択ボタンの画像とともに客用ディスプレイに表示させる期限切れ間近商品表示制御手段と、この期限切れ間近商品表示制御手段により客用ディスプレイに表示された選択ボタンの画像のタッチ操作で販売登録商品の購入を取消すことが選択されると、当該販売登録商品の売上データの登録処理を取り消す期限切れ間近商品取消処理手段とを備えたものである。

このような構成により、商品登録手段により販売登録された商品のうち期限までの残り時間が予め設定されている時間より短い商品については、その販売登録商品の購入を取消すか否かを客に選択させるメッセージが選択ボタンの画像とともに客用ディスプレイに表示される。ここで、買物客がメッセージから取消すことを選択し、客用ディスプレイに表示された取消の選択ボタンをタッチ操作すると、この期限までの残り時間が短い販売登録商品の売上データの登録処理が取消される。取消の選択ボタンをタッチ操作しなかった場合には、当該販売登録商品の売上データの登録処理が有効となる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の一実施の形態を図面を参照して説明する。
なお、この実施の形態は、賞味期限のある食品を取り扱う店向けのＰＯＳ（Point Of Sales：販売時点情報管理）ターミナルに本発明を適用する場合であり、各商品には、それぞれ商品を識別するための商品コードとともに品名，単価などの商品販売登録に必要な情報を組込んだ２次元コードを印刷した商品ラベルを貼付けて販売するものとする。このものにおいて、賞味期限のある食品には、図３に示すように、商品コード，品名，単価の他、その商品が製造された日時や賞味期限となる日時等を組込んだ２次元コードを印刷した商品ラベルが貼り付けられている。

図１は本実施の形態におけるＰＯＳターミナル１の外観図である。ＰＯＳターミナル１は、現金等を収容するためのドロワ２の上に載置されており、このドロワ２の引出し２ａの開閉を制御する。ＰＯＳターミナル１には、正面側にキーボード３とモードスイッチ４とが設けられているとともにオペレータ用ディスプレイ５が取り付けられており、背面側に客用ディスプレイ６が取り付けられている。また、レシート及びジャーナルを印字するＲ／Ｊプリンタ７が内蔵されており、このプリンタ７によって印字されたレシートがＰＯＳターミナル１の正面側に形成されたレシート発行口８から発行されるようになっている。またＰＯＳターミナル１には、商品登録手段として前記商品ラベルに印刷された２次元コードを読取るための２次元コードスキャナ９が接続されている。

前記キーボード３は、預かり金額などを置数するための置数キー，１商取引として販売登録された商品の合計出力を指示する小計キー，１商取引の代金を現金決済することを宣言する登録締め手段としての預／現計キー，置数データのクリアを指示するクリアキー等を配設したＰＯＳターミナル専用のキーボードである。
前記モードスッチ４は、「登録」，「点検」，「精算」，「設定」などの各種業務モードを選択するためのスイッチで、鍵にて操作される。因みに、「登録」とは、商品登録手段により販売登録された商品の売上データを記憶部に登録処理し、また登録締め手段により商品販売登録の終了が宣言された１取引の代金精算を処理してレシートを発行する業務のモードである。「点検」とは、記憶部に登録処理された各商品の売上データを集計しレポート出力する業務のモードである。「精算」とは、「点検」と同様に記憶部に登録処理された各商品の売上データを集計しレポート出力した後、記憶部の売上データをクリアする業務のモードである。「設定」とは、各種業務を実行する上で必要なデータを予め記憶部に設定するための業務である。

前記オペレータ用ディスプレイ５及び客用ディスプレイ６は、商品登録手段により販売登録された商品の品名，価格や、登録締め手段により商品販売登録の終了が宣言された１取引の合計金額，釣銭額などを表示するもので、液晶カラーディスプレイ等が用いられている。なお、客用ディスプレイ６の画面には、図示しないがタッチセンサパネルが取り付けられている。

図２はＰＯＳターミナル１の制御回路構成の要部を示すブロック図である。このＰＯＳターミナル１は、制御部本体としてＣＰＵ（Central Processing Unit）１０を搭載している。また、このＣＰＵ１０が実行するプログラムなどの固定的データを記憶したＲＯＭ（Read Only Memory）１１、販売登録商品の売上データを登録処理する記憶部などが形成されるＲＡＭ（Random Access Memory）１２、現在の日時を計時する時計部１３、ＬＡＮ（Local Area Network）などの通信回線を通じて接続されるホスト装置（不図示）とのデータ通信を制御する通信インタフェース１４、前記モードスイッチ４のからのモード選択信号を入力するとともに前記ドロワ２の引出し２ａを自動開放させるドロワ開放装置２ｂに駆動信号を出力するＩ／Ｏ（Input/Output）ポート１５、前記キーボード３から操作キーに対応したキー信号を取込みＣＰＵ１０に通知するキーボードコントローラ１６、前記オペレータ用ディスプレイ５の駆動を制御しＣＰＵ１０から与えられる表示データに対応した文字等をカラー表示させる表示コントローラ１７、前記客用ディスプレイ６の駆動を制御しＣＰＵ１０から与えられる表示データに対応した文字等をカラー表示させるとともに該客用ディスプレイ６の画面に取り付けられたタッチセンサパネルからの信号を取込みＣＰＵ１０に通知する表示コントローラ１８、前記Ｒ／Ｊプリンタ７の駆動を制御しＣＰＵ１０から与えられる印字データをもとにレシート印字及びジャーナル印字を行わせるプリンタコントローラ１９、前記２次元コードスキャナ９で読取られた２次元コード信号を取込みＣＰＵ１０に知らせるスキャナコントローラ２０などを搭載している。
そして、前記ＣＰＵ１０と、ＲＯＭ１１，ＲＡＭ１２，時計部１３，通信インタフェース１４，Ｉ／Ｏポート１５及び各入出力機器のコントローラ１６〜２０とは、アドレスバス，データバスなどのバスライン２１で接続されている。

かかる構成のＰＯＳターミナル１において、前記ＲＡＭ１２には、売上データを登録処理する記憶部としてのエリアの他、図４に示すように、１商取引として販売登録された各商品の売上金額（価格）を合計する取引合計器４１、１商取引の商品登録開始に応じて“１”にセットされ、登録締め手段としての預／現計キー操作によりその１商取引の登録締めが宣言されると“０”にリセットされる登録中フラグＦのフラグメモリ４２、１商取引として販売登録された各商品のうち賞味期限切れの商品及び賞味期限までの残り時間が所定時間未満の商品の商品コード，品名，売上金額及び売上点数を、賞味期限切れの商品なのか賞味期限までの残り時間が所定時間（本実施の形態では６時間とする）以下の商品なのかを識別する警告ステータスＷＳＴとともに一時的に記憶する警告バッファ４３及び該警告バッファ４３のレコード数ｎをカウントするバッファカウンタ４４等が形成されている。
なお、警告ステータスＷＳＴは、賞味期限切れの商品を「２」とし、賞味期限までの残り時間が所定時間以下の商品を「１」とする。

しかして、本実施の形態のＰＯＳターミナル１は、モードスイッチ４により「登録」モードが選択されている状態で、商品登録手段としての２次元コードスキャナ９により商品ラベルに印刷された２次元コードが読取られると、ＣＰＵ１０が図５の流れ図に示す商品登録処理を実行するものとなっている。
すなわちＣＰＵ１０は、２次元コードスキャナ９で読取られた２次元コードのデータ信号がスキャナコントローラ２０から入力されると商品登録処理を開始し、ステップＰ１としてフラグメモリ４２の登録中フラグＦを調べる。

ここで、登録中フラグＦが“１”にセットされていた場合には、１商取引の最初の商品登録であると判断して、ステップＰ２として取引合計器４１及び警告バッファ４３をクリアする。また、ステップＰ３としてバッファカウンタ４４を“０”にリセットする。次に、ステップＰ４として登録中フラグＦを“１”にセットして１商取引の商品登録中であることを宣言したならばステップＰ５に進み、販売商品売上登録処理を実行する。
ステップＰ１にて登録中フラグＦがすでに“１”にセットされていた場合には、１商取引の２品目以降の商品登録であると判断して、ステップＰ２乃至ステップＰ４の処理を省略し、ステップＰ５の販売商品売上登録処理に進む。

ステップＰ５では、２次元コードスキャナ９で読取られた２次元コードを解析して商品コード，品名，単価，賞味期限日時，製造日時等の各データを取得する。そして、販売登録商品の売上金額を単価とし、売上点数を「１」として、この販売登録商品の売上データを記憶部に登録処理する。また、ステップＰ６として取引合計器４１に上記販売登録商品の売上金額を加算する。

次に、ステップＰ７として販売登録商品の２次元コードデータに賞味期限日時が設定されているか否かを判断する。ここで、賞味期限日時が設定されていない場合には、製造時からの期限の設定されていない商品の販売登録と判断してステップＰ１４に進み、２次元コードから取得した品名及び価格（単価＝売上金額）をオペレータ用ディスプレイ５及び客用ディスプレイ６に黒色で表示したならば、今回の商品登録処理を終了する。

ステップＰ７にて販売登録商品の２次元コードデータに賞味期限日時が設定されていた場合には、製造時からの期限の設定されている商品の販売登録と判断してステップＰ８に進み、その賞味期限日時と時計部１３にて計時されている現在の日時とから賞味期限日時までの残り時間を算出する。そして、ステップＰ９としてその賞味期限日時までの残り時間が予め設定されている時間（６時間）以下か否かを判断する。

ここで、残り時間が設定時間（６時間）以下の場合には、ステップＰ１０としてバッファカウンタ４４のカウント値ｎを１だけカウントアップする。
次に、ステップＰ１１としてその賞味期限日時までの残り時間が負，つまり賞味期限切れなのか否かを判断する。そして賞味期限切れの場合には、ステップＰ１２として警告バッファ４３のｎ（バッファカウンタ４４のカウント値）番目エリアに当該販売登録商品の商品コード，品名，売上金額，売上点数及び警告ステータスＷＳＴ＝２を格納する。また、ステップＰ１３としてその賞味期限日時及び賞味期限日時までの残り時間をオペレータ用ディスプレイ５及び客用ディスプレイ６に赤色で表示する。しかる後、ステップＰ１４に進み、２次元コードから取得した品名及び価格（単価＝売上金額）をオペレータ用ディスプレイ５及び客用ディスプレイ６に黒色で、上記赤色表示した賞味期限日時及び賞味期限日時までの残り時間と対応付けて表示して、今回の商品登録処理を終了する。

これに対し、ステップＰ１１にて賞味期限日時までの残り時間が負でない、つまり賞味期限切れでないものの賞味期限までの残り時間が設定時間（６時間）を過ぎているものであった場合には、ステップＰ１５として警告バッファ４３のｎ（バッファカウンタ４４のカウント値）番目エリアに当該販売登録商品の商品コード，品名，売上金額，売上点数及び警告ステータスＷＳＴ＝１を格納する。また、ステップＰ１６としてその賞味期限日時及び賞味期限日時までの残り時間をオペレータ用ディスプレイ５及び客用ディスプレイ６に黄色で表示する。しかる後、ステップＰ１４に進み、２次元コードから取得した品名及び価格（単価＝売上金額）をオペレータ用ディスプレイ５及び客用ディスプレイ６に黒色で、上記黄色表示した賞味期限日時及び賞味期限日時までの残り時間と対応付けて表示して、今回の商品登録処理を終了する。

また、ステップＰ９にて賞味期限日時までの残り時間が予め設定されている時間（６時間）より長い場合には、ステップＰ１７としてその賞味期限日時及び賞味期限日時までの残り時間をオペレータ用ディスプレイ５及び客用ディスプレイ６に青色で表示する。しかる後、ステップＰ１４に進み、２次元コードから取得した品名及び価格（単価＝売上金額）をオペレータ用ディスプレイ５及び客用ディスプレイ６に黒色で、上記青色表示した賞味期限日時及び賞味期限日時までの残り時間と対応付けて表示して、今回の商品登録処理を終了する。

図７（ａ）は１商取引として「おにぎり」，「焼きそば」，「チャーハン」及び「消しゴム」の各商品登録処理が行われたときの客用ディスプレイ６の一表示例であり、各商品の品名及び価格はいずれも黒色で表示される。また、商品「おにぎり」の賞味期限までの残り時間は１２時間５０分であり予め設定された時間（６時間）より長いので、賞味期限日時及び残り時間は青色で表示され、商品「焼きそば」の賞味期限までの残り時間は−２時間１０分であり賞味期限切れなので、賞味期限日時及び残り時間は赤色で表示され、商品「チャーハン」の賞味期限までの残り時間は５時間５０分であり設定時間（６時間）以下の賞味期限切れ間近なので、賞味期限日時及び残り時間は黄色で表示される。

ここに、ＣＰＵ１０は、商品登録手段により販売登録された商品が製造時からの期限の設定された商品であるときその期限までの残り時間を計算する演算手段［ステップＰ８］と、この演算手段により算出された販売登録商品の期限までの残り時間を示す情報を当該販売登録商品の名称とともに客用ディスプレイ６に表示させる残り時間表示制御手段［ステップＰ１３，ステップＰ１６，ステップＰ１７］と、この残り時間表示制御手段により客用ディスプレイ６に表示される期限までの残り時間を示す情報をその残り時間の長さに応じて色分けする残り時間色分け処理手段［ステップＰ１３，ステップＰ１６，ステップＰ１７］を構成している。

また本実施の形態のＰＯＳターミナル１は、同じく「登録」モードが選択されている状態で、キーボード３の小計キーが押下されると、ＣＰＵ１０が図６の流れ図に示す小計キー処理を実行するものとなっている。
すなわちＣＰＵ１０は、小計キーの押下により発生したキー信号がキーボードコントローラ１６から入力されると小計キー処理を開始し、ステップＱ１としてフラグメモリ４２の登録中フラグＦを調べる。

ここで、登録中フラグＦが“０”にリセットされていた場合には、１商取引の商品登録が行われていないにも拘らず小計キーを押下した操作ミスなので、小計キーの入力エラーとして今回の小計キー処理を終了する。
ステップＱ１にて登録中フラグＦが“１”にセットされていた場合には、ステップＱ２としてバッファカウンタ４４のカウント値ｎを調べる。

ここで、バッファカウンタ４４のカウント値ｎが「０」の場合には、当該１商取引では賞味期限切れまたは賞味期限切れ間近の商品が販売登録されていないのでＳＴ３に進み、取引合計器４１のデータを小計額としてオペレータ用ディスプレイ５及び客用ディスプレイ６に表示させたならば、今回の小計キー処理を終了する。
ステップＱ２にてバッファカウンタ４４のカウント値ｎが「１」以上の場合には、当該１商取引において賞味期限切れまたは賞味期限切れ間近の商品がカウント値ｎの数だけ販売登録されているので、ステップＱ４に進む。

ステップＱ４ではバッファカウンタ４４のカウント値ｎを「１」に設定する。そして、ステップＱ５として警告バッファ４３からｎ（バッファカウンタ４４のカウント値）番目エリアのデータ［商品コード，品名，売上金額，売上点数，警告ステータスＷＳＴ］を読込む。

ここで、ステップＱ６として警告バッファ４４からｎ番目エリアのデータを読込むことができたならば、ステップＱ７としてそのデータの警告ステータスＷＳＴを判別する。

ここで、警告ステータスＷＳＴが「１」の場合には、当該データは賞味期限切れ間近の商品のデータなので、ステップＱ８として客に賞味期限切れ間近であることを警告しその商品の購入を取消すか否かを客に選択させるメッセージ（例えば「下記の商品は賞味期限が近付いていますが、キャンセルされますか？」）を、取消す場合に客が押下する選択ボタン［取消］と、取消さない場合に客が押下する選択ボタン［登録］の画像とともに客用ディスプレイ６に表示させる。なお、このとき、オペレータ用ディスプレイ５にはメッセージのみ表示させる。

次に、ステップＱ９及びステップＱ１０として客用ディスプレイ６に取り付けられたタッチセンサパネルからの信号により両選択ボタン［取消］，［登録］のいずれかがタッチ操作されるのを待機する。
ここで、選択ボタン［取消］がタッチ操作されたことをタッチセンサパネルから表示コントローラ１８に入力された信号により確認すると（ステップＱ１０のＹＥＳ）、当該期限切れ間近の商品をキャンセルすることが客自身によって選択されたので、ステップＱ１１としてこの賞味期限切れ間近の商品の売上登録処理を取消す。すなわち、商品登録処理のステップＰ５にてＲＡＭ１２の記憶部に登録処理した当該商品の売上データ（売上金額，売上点数）を取消す。また、取引合計器４１から当該商品の売上金額分を減額する。さらに、ステップＱ１２としてオペレータ用ディスプレイ５及び客用ディスプレイ６に表示されている当該商品の品名，価格，賞味期限日時及び賞味期限までの残り時間の表示を消去する。

しかる後、ステップＱ１３としてバッファカウンタ４４のカウント値ｎを１だけカウントアップしたならばステップＱ５に戻り、警告バッファ４３からｎ番目エリアのデータを読込む。
なお、ステップＱ９にて選択ボタン［登録］がタッチ操作されたことをタッチセンサパネルから表示コントローラ１８に入力された信号により確認した場合には、期限切れ間近の商品をキャンセルしないことが選択されたので、ステップＱ１１及びステップＱ１２の処理を行わず、ステップＱ１３に進む。そして、バッファカウンタ４４のカウント値ｎを１だけカウントアップしたならばステップＱ５に戻り、警告バッファ４３からｎ番目エリアのデータを読込む。

一方、ステップＱ７にて警告バッファ４３から読込んだｎ番目エリアのデータの警告ステータスＷＳＴが「２」の場合には、当該データは賞味期限切れの商品のデータなので、ステップＱ１４として客に賞味期限切れであり販売登録を取消すことを告知するメッセージ（例えば「下記の商品は賞味期限が過ぎていますので取消させていただきます」）を、取消を了承した場合に客が押下する確認ボタン［ＯＫ］と、取消を了承しない客が押下する確認ボタン［ＮＧ］の画像とともに客用ディスプレイ６に表示させる。なお、このとき、オペレータ用ディスプレイ５にはメッセージのみ表示させる。

次に、ステップＱ１５及びステップＱ１６として客用ディスプレイ６に取り付けられたタッチセンサパネルからの信号により両確認ボタン［ＯＫ］，［ＮＧ］のいずれかがタッチ操作されるのを待機する。
