ここで、Xは車両の車幅方向の軸、Yは路面に対して垂直な高さ方向の軸、Zは車両の前後方向の軸である。また、xはカメラの水平方向の軸、yはカメラの垂直方向の軸、zはカメラ2の光軸方向の軸である。

Claims (6)
- 自車の後方を撮像する撮像手段と、
予め前記撮像手段により所定距離離れた地点から撮像した連結対象車両の連結具またはその連結具の真上近傍に取り付けられた識別標識のテンプレート画像を記憶する記憶手段と、
前記撮像手段により撮像した自車後方画像の中に前記記憶手段に記憶されているテンプレート画像とほぼ同一のサイズとパターンの領域が存在するか否かを判定する判定手段と、
自車の走行距離を検出する距離検出手段と、
前記判定手段により前記テンプレート画像とほぼ同一のサイズとパターンの領域の存在が判定されてからの前記距離検出手段で検出された走行距離に基づいて、自車から連結対象車両までの距離を演算する距離演算手段と、
前記判定手段により前記テンプレート画像とほぼ同一のサイズとパターンの領域の存在が判定された場合に、自車の連結具から自車の真後ろ方向に延びる補助線を前記撮像手段の自車後方画像上に描画するとともに、前記自車から連結対象車両までの距離が短くなるにしたがって前記補助線を短縮する描画手段と、
前記補助線が重畳描画された自車後方画像を表示する表示手段とを備えることを特徴とする車両後退支援装置。 - 請求項1に記載の車両後退支援装置において、
自車の真後ろの方向を基準とした連結対象車両の連結具またはその連結具の真上近傍に取り付けられた識別標識の方向を演算する方向演算手段を備え、
前記描画手段は、前記方向演算手段により演算された方向に基づいて自車の連結具を連結対象車両の連結具に近づけるための操舵指示線を生成し、前記撮像手段の自車後方画像上に描画することを特徴とする車両後退支援装置。 - 請求項2に記載の車両後退支援装置において、
前記方向演算手段により演算された方向に基づいて自車の連結具を連結対象車両の連結具に近づけるための操舵案内を音声により行う操舵案内手段を備えることを特徴とする車両後退支援装置 - 請求項1〜3のいずれかの項に記載の車両後退支援装置において、
前記表示手段は前記補助線を強調表示することを特徴とする車両後退支援装置。 - 請求項1〜4のいずれかの項に記載の車両後退支援装置において、
前記描画手段は前記補助線を破線または鎖線または太線で描画することを特徴とする車両後退支援装置 - 自車の後方を撮像する処理と、
予め所定距離離れた地点から撮像した連結対象車両の連結具またはその連結具の真上近傍に取り付けられた識別標識のテンプレート画像を記憶する処理と、
撮像した自車後方画像の中に前記テンプレート画像とほぼ同一のサイズとパターンの領域が存在するか否かを判定する処理と、
前記テンプレート画像とほぼ同一のサイズとパターンの領域の存在が判定されてからの自車の走行距離を検出し、自車から連結対象車両までの距離を演算する処理と、
前記テンプレート画像とほぼ同一のサイズとパターンの領域の存在が判定された場合に、自車の連結具から自車の真後ろ方向に延びる補助線を自車後方画像上に描画するとともに、前記自車から連結対象車両までの距離が短くなるにしたがって前記補助線を短縮する処理と、
前記補助線が重畳描画された自車後方画像を表示する処理とを行うことを特徴とする車両後退支援方法。
