【0001】

[Industrial application fields]
The present invention relates to a method for producing a colorant composition for a polyvinyl butyral interlayer film.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a glass plate sandwiching an intermediate film made of transparent polyvinyl butyral as an intermediate layer between two glass plates has been frequently used for building window glass, automobile windshields, and the like. The polyvinyl butyral interlayer used for this purpose is often colored entirely or partly with an oil-soluble dye or pigment, but the oil-soluble dye has insufficient weather resistance and is used as an intermediate layer of a glass plate. There is a drawback that the oil-soluble dye migrates to the surface during the storage of the colored polyvinyl butyral interlayer film sheet before entering and contaminates the surface. On the other hand, except for some pigments, the pigments were colored with the pigments, while the light resistance was good and the pigments did not migrate to the surface, and the oil-soluble dyes were transparent and good and had a low haze value. Polyvinyl butyral interlayers have the disadvantage of poor transparency and high haze values.
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In general, the polyvinyl butyral interlayer is colored by a method in which a pigment is dispersed in advance in a plasticizer for polyvinyl butyral and the plasticizer is added to polyvinyl butyral.
The present invention provides a method for producing a colorant composition for a polyvinyl butyral interlayer film having a low haze value and excellent transparency by limiting the conditions in the process of dispersing the pigment in the plasticizer for polyvinyl butyral in advance. To do.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
As a result of intensive studies to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present inventors previously heated and kneaded the pigment and rosin-modified maleic resin, dissolved this in a plasticizer for polyvinyl butyral, and then colored the polyvinyl butyral resin. As a result, it was found that a colored polyvinyl butyral interlayer having a low haze value and excellent transparency could be produced, and the present invention was completed.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail.
[0005]
The rosin-modified maleic resin used in the present invention is a kind of polyester resin, which is composed of rosin and maleic anhydride and esterified with a polyhydric alcohol. The pigment used in the present invention is preferably a pigment having a particle size of 0.1 μm or less and a small particle size and a low haze value. In addition, examples of the plasticizer for polyvinyl butyral used in the present invention include dicarboxylic acid esters, polyether esters, and mixtures thereof.
[0006]
The following method is illustrated as a manufacturing method of the coloring agent for polyvinyl butyral interlayer films of the present invention.
10 to 200 parts by weight, preferably 40 to 100 parts by weight of the pigment was preliminarily blended with a tumbler or the like, and heated to 90 to 130 ° C., preferably 100 to 110 ° C., with respect to 100 parts by weight of the rosin-modified maleic resin. The pigment is dispersed by kneading with three rolls. After the dispersion processing is completed, the mixture is cooled, pulverized with a hammer mill or the like, and then added with a plasticizer for polyvinyl butyral.
[0007]
In addition, the ratio of the pigment previously dispersed with rosin-modified maleic resin and the plasticizer for polyvinyl butyral is 100 parts by weight: 100 parts by weight to 100 parts by weight: more preferably 100 parts by weight: 400 parts by weight. From 100 parts by weight to 800 parts by weight is easy to use in terms of dissolution rate and concentration.
In the step of dissolving in a plasticizer, if the dissolution is insufficient by stirring with a disper, it can be easily dissolved by further dispersing with a three-roll or bead mill.
[0008]
【The invention's effect】
According to the method of the present invention, a polyvinyl butyral interlayer film having a low haze value and excellent transparency can be obtained by coloring the polyvinyl butyral resin using the produced composition.
[0009]
【Example】
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described by way of examples.
However, in the examples, “part” means part by weight.
[Example 1]
40 parts of copper phthalocyanine building and 60 parts of rosin-modified maleic resin (Marquide # 2, manufactured by Arakawa Chemical Co., Ltd.) are pre-blended for 20 minutes with a tumbler, and then kneaded and dispersed with three rolls heated to 100 to 110 ° C. . After completion of the kneading and dispersing process, the mixture is cooled and then pulverized with a hammer mill. To 100 parts of this pulverized product, 700 parts of a polyvinyl butyral plasticizer triethylene glycol di (2-ethyl) butyrate (polyetheresters) is added, and the disperser is added. And dissolve for 30 minutes. Since some undissolved material remained, a dispersion solution of 5% by weight of copper phthalocyanine blue completely dissolved was obtained by passing through a closed continuous bead mill.
[0010]
[Example 2]
After pre-blending 20 parts of condensed polycyclic yellow and chromoftal yellow 2RLT (manufactured by Ciba Geigy Co., Ltd.) and 70 parts of rosin-modified maleic resin (Marquide # 2, Arakawa Chemical Co., Ltd.) with a tumbler, The mixture is kneaded and dispersed with three rolls heated to 100 to 110 ° C. After completion of the kneading and dispersing process, the mixture is cooled and then pulverized by a hammer mill. To 100 parts of this pulverized product, 500 parts of a plasticizer for polyvinyl butyral, triethylene glycol di (2-ethyl) butyrate (polyetheresters) is added, and 30 parts are added using a disper. Dissolve with stirring for minutes. Since some undissolved material remained, a dispersion solution of 5% by weight of chromoftal yellow 2RLT completely dissolved by passing through a three roll was obtained.
[0011]
[Comparative Example 1]
40 parts of the same copper phthalocyanine blue as in Example 1 and 760 parts of a plasticizer for polyethylene butyral triethylene glycol di (2-ethyl) butyrate (polyetheresters) were added, and the mixture was stirred in advance with a disper for 30 minutes. The dispersion solution of copper phthalocyanine blue 5% by weight was obtained.
[0012]
[Comparative Example 2]
30 parts of the same condensed polycyclic yellow, chromofal yellow 2RLT as in Example 2 and 70 parts of a plasticizer for polyvinyl butyral triethylene glycol di (2-ethyl) butyrate (polyetheresters) were pre-blended with a disper for 20 minutes. After that, it is kneaded and dispersed with three rolls. After completion of the kneading and dispersing process, 500 parts of triethylene glycol di (2-ethyl) butyrate (polyetherester) is further added, diluted, and then passed through three rolls again to obtain a dispersion solution of 5% by weight of chromophal yellow 2RLT. Obtained.
[0013]
The polyvinyl butyral resin pigment dispersions obtained in Examples 1 and 2 and Comparative Examples 1 and 2 were kneaded with the Labo Plast Mill (manufactured by Toyo Seiki Co., Ltd.) with the following composition, and then press-pressed into 0.5 mm sheets. Table 1 shows the result of measuring the haze value with an automatic haze meter (manufactured by Tokyo Denshoku Co., Ltd.).
