【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、家屋の軒先の入隅部に設けられる軒樋と曲り継手の接続構造で、軒樋と曲り継手とに屋外側側壁のほぼ中央部に内方に向けて溝部が設けられている軒樋と曲り継手の接続構造に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、軒先の入隅部で軒樋同士を接続する曲り継手としては、例えば、実開平7−317242号公報に記載されているものがある。
この実開平7−317242号公報の曲り継手は、断面形状が略L字型に形成された曲り継手本体と、この曲り継手本体の入隅部の屋外側側壁のほぼ中央部に内方に向けて曲り継手溝部と、この曲り継手溝部に上向きに水返し片と、両端部に軒樋が接続可能な軒樋接続部とが設けられているものである。

この実開平7−317242号公報記載の曲り継手では、曲り継手本体の屋外側側壁が、上部と、中央部と、下部との3つのパーツからなり、それぞれを分割して成型し、後で各パーツを結合させるものであり、3つのパーツとして金型を小型化して金型製作費を押え、上部のみを複数種類成型するだけで、曲り継手のデザインの多様化を図ったりすることができるもので、簡単な構造で、使い易いものである。

又、水返し片に軒先から流れ落ちる雨水が当たって、曲り継手本体内に跳ね返され、継手溝部から外に雨水がしみ出したりしない曲り継手である。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところが、上記の実開平7−317242号公報記載の曲り継手では、曲り継手本体の屋外側側壁が、上部と、中央部と、下部との3つのパーツからなっているため、上部と、中央部と、下部とを小型化しても、それぞれ別々に金型を作ったり、保管したりせねばならず、金型製作費や保管や保守がかかりコストアップになるという問題があった。

又、上記の曲り継手では軒樋溝部からの流れてきた雨水を曲り継手内へ流すことができないので、軒先から流れ落ち、屋外側側壁を伝わって軒樋溝部に流れこみ、軒樋溝部に溜まった雨水は溢れ、軒樋を伝わって下に落ちたり、後が付いて汚れたりするという問題があった。

そこで、本発明の目的は、上記のような問題に着目し、曲り継手の製作費や保管や保守にかかるコストを削減し、軒樋溝部からの流れてきた雨水を曲り継手内へ流して、雨水が下に落ちたり、軒樋が汚れたりしない軒樋と曲り継手の接続構造を提供するものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は上記の目的を達成するためになされたもので、請求項1記載の発明は、軒樋が曲り継手に接続された軒樋と曲り継手の接続構造において、軒樋は、断面形状が略U字形になされ、屋外側側壁の上端部に屋外側耳部とほぼ中央部に軒樋溝部と、屋内側側壁の上端部に屋内側耳部とが軒樋の長手方向に沿って設けられ、曲り継手は、断面形状が略L字型になされた曲り継手本体と、この曲り継手本体の入隅部の屋外側側壁のほぼ中央部に内方に向けて曲り継手溝部と、この曲り継手溝部を曲り継手本体の内方より覆う覆材と、両端部に軒樋が接続可能な軒樋接続部とが設けられ、軒樋の端部が、曲り継手本体の軒樋接続部に接続され、軒樋溝部が曲り継手溝部に嵌め込まれ、軒樋の端縁と覆材の軒樋接続部側の端縁とが当接し、曲り継手溝部の外周面の下面と軒樋溝部の内周面の下面との間に間隙部と、軒樋溝部の下端縁と覆材の下端縁との間に開口部とが設けられ、間隙部と開口部とが連通されているものである。

請求項1記載の発明において、軒樋溝部と、曲り継手溝部と、覆材とは、曲り継手本体内で、軒樋溝部が曲り継手溝部に嵌め込まれ、曲り継手溝部を覆材で覆われ、曲り継手溝部の外周面の下面と軒樋溝部の内周面の上面との間に間隙部と、軒樋溝部の下端縁と覆材の下端縁との間に開口部とが設けられ、間隙部と開口部とが連通されていれば、適宜な構造でよく、例えば、図2に示すように、軒樋溝部の大きさを曲り継手溝部より大きくし、曲り継手溝部の外周面の上面と側面に軒樋溝部の内周面の上面と側面を当接させ、曲り継手溝部の外周面の下面と軒樋溝部の内周面の下面とで間隙部を作り、覆材の大きさを軒樋溝部より大きくし、覆材を軒樋溝部に被せ、軒樋溝部の外周面の上面と側面に覆材の内周面の上面と側面を当接させ、軒樋の一方の端縁と覆材の軒樋接続部側の端縁とを当接させ、軒樋溝部の下端縁と覆材の下端縁との間に開口部を設け、間隙部と開口部とを連通するようにしておくと、図3に示す矢印のように、軒樋溝部に流れ込んだ雨水は、曲り継手溝部の外周面の下面と軒樋溝部の内周面の下面とでできた間隙部と通り、軒樋溝部の下端縁と覆材の下端縁との間に開口部を通り、曲り継手本体内へ流れ込むので、軒樋溝部に雨水が溜まり、雨水が下に落ちたり、軒樋が汚れたりすることがない。

請求項1記載の発明において、覆材を設ける場所と形状は、軒樋の端部が曲り継手本体の軒樋接続部に差し込まれ、軒樋の端縁と覆材の軒樋接続部側の端縁とが当接させることができれば、適宜な場所でよく、例えば、図1に示すように、曲り継手本体の屋外側側壁の内側のほぼ中央部で、L字型のコーナー部から両方向の軒樋接続部側に向けて、曲り継手溝部の形状に合わせた断面形状がコ字型の覆材をコ字型の開口部を曲り継手本体の屋外側側壁に向け、屋外側側壁に両端を取り付けて、覆材を設けておくと、成型し易いので、好ましい。
又、覆材の表面を凹凸状にしておくと、雨水が覆材の表面に当たっても跳ねたりしないし、覆材の軒樋接続部側の端縁から軒樋接続部側に向けて軒樋溝部の形状に合わせて庇部を設けておくと、開口部から外側に雨水がでるのをふせぐことができるので、好ましい。

尚、覆材が内押え体の場合、曲り継手本体と、曲り継手本体の溝部と、軒樋接続部の上端の両押え片とを一体成型し、内押え体は別に射出成型するとよい。

以下,本発明の一実施例を図1〜図3により詳述する。

家屋の一方の軒先に取り付けられた軒樋1の端部の外周面に接着剤(図示省略)を塗布し、軒樋1の端部を曲り継手本体21の一方の軒樋接続部25に接続し、軒樋溝部13を曲り継手溝部23に嵌め込み、軒樋1の一方の端縁と覆材24の端縁に当接させ、曲り継手溝部23の外周面の下面28と軒樋溝部13の内周面の下面16との間に設けられた間隙部3と、軒樋溝部13の下端縁17と覆材24の下端縁29との間に設けられた開口部4とを連通させ、軒樋接続部25の上端に設けられた屋外側押え片26と屋内側押え片27とで軒樋1の屋外側耳部12と屋内側耳部15とを押えて、軒樋1の端部と曲り継手本体21の一方の軒樋接続部25とを接着し、軒樋1と曲り継手2の一方とを接続する。
次に、家屋の他方の軒先に取り付けられた軒樋1の端部を、同様にして、曲り継手本体21の他方の軒樋接続部25に接続し、軒樋1と曲り継手2の他方とを接続し、軒樋1と曲り継手2を接続する。
