Description
【0001】

The egg shell quality improving additive of the present invention comprises coral sand.
[0012]
Coral sand refers to coral and coral reef organisms that have been crushed or fine-grained by weathering and deposited on the sea floor. Ryukyu limestone (mountain coral) formed by coral reefs is a part of coral reef organisms. Although it has the same origin as a corpse, the formation process, crystal structure and composition are different. That is, Ryukyu limestone is exposed to rain on land, so that the crystal structure at the time of coral reef habitat is lost, becomes calcite, is not porous, is massive, and mineral components such as magnesium are significantly lost. Coral sand, on the other hand, is an aragonite with a crystalline structure when inhabiting coral reefs, and retains porosity and mineral components derived from coral. In addition, although coral sand can be collected even at the seaside, it is not preferable from the viewpoint of nature conservation. Therefore, in the present invention, the coral sand is collected from the ocean.
[0013]
The coral sand used in the present invention is preferably a coral sand that has been collected from the seabed, washed, dried (200 ° C. or lower), foreign matter removed, particle size adjusted, heat sterilized, and sieved (particle size 2.2 mm or smaller). Using coral grains collected at the seaside as they are is high in salinity, high in human contact, may be contaminated with bacteria and filth, and may contain foreign substances such as glass and plastic. It is not preferable due to certain reasons.
[0014]
In addition to the coral sand, caseinfophosphopeptide (CPP), vitamin D 3 and the like may be added to the eggshell quality improving additive of the present invention to enhance the absorption of calcium and phosphorus.
[0015]
The additive for improving eggshell quality of the present invention is an epoch-making that has not been seen in conventional additives for improving eggshell quality by being directly applied to chickens or added to normal poultry feed. Demonstrate the effect of improving eggshell strength. The reason for this is that coral sand is not just a calcium supplement, that is, coral sand contains 23 minerals including calcium derived from coral organisms. The seeds have been confirmed to be minerals required by chickens (calcium, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, chlorine, magnesium, iron, sulfur, iodine, manganese, copper, cobalt, zinc), and another 10 species The contribution of minerals is also considered, and these are considered to act in a complex manner.
[0016]
The addition amount of the eggshell quality improving additive in the poultry feed may be small, and is preferably 0.2 to 5% by weight from the viewpoint of economy. If the amount is too small, the effect of improving the eggshell quality is not exhibited, and if the amount is too large, the cost becomes high.
[0017]
Moreover, what is necessary is just to entrust to the intake behavior of a chicken, when making a chicken ingest independently without adding the additive for eggshell quality improvement to a poultry feed. There is no special evil caused by eating too much.
[0018]
The poultry feed of the present invention is characterized by containing the above-described additive for improving eggshell quality of the present invention. The component of the poultry feed of the present invention can be the same as that of the conventional poultry feed except that it contains the above-mentioned additive for improving egg shell quality, preferably 0.2 to 5% by weight of coral sand. Accordingly, examples of feed constituents include cereals such as corn, wheat, barley, and milo, bran, rice bran, soybean meal, corn gluten, fish meal, vegetable oil, calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate, oyster shell, vitamins, and the like. be able to.
[0019]
Particularly preferred are those containing 0.2 to 5% by weight of coral sand and 2 to 10% by weight of calcium carbonate.
[0020]
【Example】
Hereinafter, the present invention will be specifically described based on examples.
[0021]
Examples 1 and 2 and Comparative Example 1
2% by weight or 0.02% of a commercial poultry feed having the composition shown in Table 1 obtained by subjecting coral sand (coral sand collected in the Okinawa sea area to washing, drying, sterilization, and sieving (particle size of 2.2 mm or less). A feed containing 5% by weight was prepared (Examples 1 and 2), and as a control example, a commercially available chicken farming feed containing no coral sand was used as Comparative Example 1.
[0022]
[Table 1]
[0023]
Each example and comparative example was fed as a feed, and a 64-week-old chicken (10 chicks) was raised for about 6 weeks. The eggshell strength and eggshell thickness of the eggs laid were measured in three stages, and 10 chickens were measured for each. The average of was obtained. In this case, the eggshell strength and eggshell thickness were measured using an eggshell strength meter and an eggshell thickness measuring instrument (Fujihira Kogyo Co., Ltd.). The results are shown in FIGS.
[0024]
In general, if the eggshell density is small even if the eggshell thickness is small, the egg breaking rate increases. If the eggshell thickness is thin, the eggshell strength increases if the eggshell density is good. Therefore, it is important to improve the eggshell strength to suppress the rate of broken eggs, and it is desired that the eggshell strength be 3.5 kg / cm 2 or more. The eggshell thickness is generally sufficient if it is 0.32 mm or more.
[0025]
On the other hand, chickens produce eggs from 20 weeks of age, eggshell quality begins to decline at 50 weeks of age, and fall out of the egg production line at 80 weeks of age. Therefore, it can be said that a 64-week-old chicken is an old chicken whose egg-laying ability and eggshell quality have dropped.
[0026]
On the other hand, the chickens raised with the feed of Example 1 and Example 2 were all 64-week-old chickens, but their eggshell strengths all exceeded 3.5 kg / cm 2 and the eggshell thickness was also 0. It can be seen that the eggshell quality is remarkably improved by 32 mm or more. In the case of Comparative Example 1 is a control example, the large variation in eggshell strength, eggshell strength it can be seen that there was even when below 3 kg / cm 2.
[0027]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, the eggshell quality of chicken eggs can be improved epoch-makingly.
