この発明は電子機器のパネル取付構造に係わり、特に、衝撃による破損を防止した電子機器のパネル取付構造に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来の電子機器のパネル取付構造の例を図4に示す。図4に示すシャシ5には段差5aが形成され段差5aより前方の段差面5bにパネル6が取り付けられる。すなわち、パネル6の側面に形成された突出部6a、6b、6cの内面が段差面5bと当接する状態で、ビス穴6dに挿通したねじがねじ穴5cにねじ込まれてパネル6がシャシ5に支持される。この状態で突出部6a、6b、6cの先端は段差5aに当接または近接している。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記した従来のパネル取付構造では、物体がパネル6の前面に衝突した場合に突出部6a、6b、6cの先端が段差5aに突き当たりパネル6に加えられた衝撃が吸収されずにパネル6が破損する恐れがあった。

この発明は上記した点に鑑みてなされたものであって、その目的とするところは、物体がパネルの前面に衝突した場合に衝撃が吸収されることによりパネルの破損が防止される電子機器のパネル取付構造を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
この発明の電子機器のパネル取付構造は、シャシに形成された段差より前側の段差面にパネルの内側面を当接させてパネルをシャシに保持させるパネル取付構造において、前記パネル側面に第1および第2の突出部を設け、前記第1の突出部の内側に傾斜面を有するリブを設け、前記第2の突出部と対向する前記シャシの部分に穴を設け、パネルが衝撃を受けたときに前記第1の突出部のリブの傾斜面が前記段差に当接することにより前記第1の突出部が変形して前記段差に乗り上げると共に前記第2の突出部が前記穴に突入できるように構成したものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
この発明の実施例である電子機器のパネル取付構造を図面に基づいて説明する。図1はこの発明の実施例である電子機器のパネル取付構造を示す分解斜視図、図2(a)は同パネル取付構造におけるパネルを示す側面図、図2(b)は同パネルを示す背面図、図2(c)は図2(a)におけるA−A断面図である。

図1に示すシャシ1には段差1aが形成され段差1aより前方の段差面1bにパネル2が取り付けられる。すなわち、パネル2の側面に形成された突出部2a、2b、2cの内面が段差面1bと当接する状態で、ビス穴2dに挿通したねじがねじ穴1dにねじ込まれてパネル2がシャシ1に支持される。

パネル2の側面には図2に詳しく示すように突出部2cの内面に先端に傾斜面を有するリブ2eが形成されている。また図1に示すように段差1aの突出部2aおよび2bと対向する部分に穴1c、1cが形成されている。

このようなパネル2がシャシ1に取り付けられた状態で物体がパネル2の前面に衝突した場合に突出部2a、2bの先端は段差1aに設けられた穴1c、1cに入り込む。また、突出部2cはその裏面に形成されたリブ2eが段差1aに乗り上げることにより突出部2cが変形して段差1aとの衝突による衝撃が吸収される。このようにしてパネル2に加えられた衝撃が吸収されてパネル2の破損が防止される。
