本発明は、カーナビゲーション用等のディスプレイ装置を梱包するための梱包装置およびその梱包方法に関する。

【従来技術】
従来、この種の梱包装置は、ディスプレイ装置の表示部分を上方に向けた状態でその本体を下方から底面側内装材で支持するとともに、ディスプレイ装置の上方から天面側内装材を底面側内装材に対面させて配置し、表示部分を避けながら表示部分の周辺部分に天面側内装材の一部を上方から当接させディスプレイ装置の上下方向の動きを規制するようにして、外箱内に収納していた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、このような従来の梱包装置では、別部材である底面側内装材と天面側内装材とを組み合わせることが必要であり、しかもこれらの内装材が緩衝能力を備えた変形可能な材料で形成され、製作精度も高くないため、運搬中の度重なる振動や衝撃により天面側部材と底面側内装材との間で相対移動が生じたり、ディスプレイ装置が揺れ動いたりするのを避けることができなかった。

この結果、運搬中に天面側内装材の周辺部分への当接部分がずれ、ディスプレイ装置の表示部分に接触しながら相対移動して表示部分を傷付けてしまうことがあった。

本発明はこのような問題を解決するためになされたもので、運搬中に被梱包品を梱包する部材同士が相対移動したり被梱包品が動いたりしても、表示部分が梱包装置の一部に接触して傷付くのを防止できるようにした梱包装置および梱包方法を提供するものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施形態について図面を用いて説明する。
まず、被梱包品から説明すると、ここでは、図1および図2に示すように被梱包品としての機器がカーナビゲーション用のディスプレイ装置1である場合を採り上げる。
ディスプレイ装置1は、電子部品等を内蔵した本体2と、この本体2の一端側に取り付けられ、本体2から幅方向に両側面部分が張り出したディスプレイ部3とを有している。ディスプレイ部3の表側面3aには、図5に示すように地図情報などを表示するための液晶からなる表示部分4を設けてある。
