定着装置を備えた電子写真装置に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来技術の定着装置と電子写真装置筐体の模式図を図3に示す。

加熱ロール1と加圧ロール2を有する定着装置3においては、正常な用紙送りに反して、加熱ロール1あるいは加圧ロール2に用紙(カット紙)が巻付いてしまう場合がある。この巻付きを防止する目的で、ノズル26から圧縮空気を吹き出して、加熱ロール1又は加圧ロール2から用紙を剥離する方法が知られている。

また、用紙詰まりなどが原因で定着装置内に用紙が残った場合、スライドレール5,6に乗った定着装置3を、加熱ロール1と加圧ロール2の軸方向に、電子写真装置筐体4より引き出し、用紙を取り除く方法が知られている。引き出し可能で、且つ、定着装置3を電子写真装置筐体4内で正確に位置決めする為に、電子写真装置筐体4にピン9,10,15,16を設け、定着装置3のフレームの穴12,18,19,27にそれぞれが嵌合できるようになっている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
従来の技術では、コイル状に巻かれたチューブの格納スペースが大きく、装置の小型化が困難となる問題点があった。

また、コイル状に巻かれたチューブのガイドとなるシャフトや、それを支持する為の部品などを含めると、部品点数が多くかつ構造が複雑で、高価な装置となる課題があった。

さらには、コイル状に巻かれたチューブの径路が長くなる為に管内抵抗が増大し、ノズルから吹き出す圧縮空気が弱くなり、用紙剥離が困難となる課題があった。

本発明は前記課題を解決し、小型で、構造が簡単で安価な、且つ、信頼性の高い定着装置及び電子写真装置を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するため、本発明では、用紙に転写されたトナー像を前記用紙に定着させる一対の定着ロールと、前記定着ロールに対し圧縮空気を供給して前記定着ロールへの用紙の巻付きを防ぐ用紙剥離手段とを備えた定着装置を有し、この定着装置を電子写真装置筐体に対し前記定着ロールの軸方向に引き出し可能に設けた電子写真装置において、前記定着装置および前記電子写真装置筐体間にピン部材とこのピン部材が嵌合するピン受け部とからなる位置決め手段を設けるとともに、前記位置決め手段を圧縮空気供給源と前記用紙剥離手段との間に介在させて設け、前記ピン部材およびピン受け部に、前記圧縮空気供給源と前記用紙剥離手段とを繋ぐ圧縮空気経路を形成した。

これによりコイル状チューブの格納スペースが不要となり、且つ、位置決め機構を有することで、装置の小型化が可能となる。また、構造が簡単になり、安価な装置の提供が可能となる。さらには、圧縮空気経路の長さが短くなる為に管内抵抗が低くなり、ノズルから吹き出す圧縮空気が低下せずに、安定した用紙剥離が実現して、信頼性の高い定着装置の提供が可能となった。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の実施例である定着装置を図1に示す。

加熱ロール1に加圧ロール2を有する定着装置3は、電子写真装置筐体4に組付けられたスライドレール5,6の可動部に組付けられている。定着装置3内に残った用紙を取り出すには、定着装置3をユニット化し、電子写真装置筐体4から引き出せば容易に行える。

また、信頼性の高い用紙搬送を行う為には、電子写真装置筐体4に定着装置3を正確に位置決めする事が必要である。

その為に、定着装置3を電子写真装置筐体4に押し込んだ場合、筐体のリアフレーム8に高精度に配置されたピン9,10が、定着装置3のリアフレーム11に高精度に配置した穴12とピン受け部13に嵌合する。同じく、筐体のフロントフレーム14に高精度に配置されたピン15,16が、定着装置3のフロントフレーム17の穴18,19に嵌合して、定着装置3が電子写真装置の筐体4に対して高精度に位置決めされる。
