Description

【0001】
【0027】

The axial pipe 9 is inserted into the cutting unit 7 that cuts the inside while leaving at least a part, and the brush unit 8 formed from the wire group 1 by the welding machine 6 and the cutting machine 7, so that the axial pipe is formed. A pipe hand machine 10 is provided which inserts and holds a plurality of brushes, and takes out the brushes 8 together with the shaft pipes 9 from the base 2 after inserting and holding them. When a predetermined number of brushes 8 are inserted and held in the shaft pipe 9, the pipe hand machine 10 removes this from the holder (not shown) in which a plurality of the shaft pipes 9 are stored. Are sequentially taken out and set in the pipe hand machine 10.
In FIG. 1, the welding machine 6, the cutting machine 7, and the pipe hand machine 10 are separated from the upper side of the strand group 1 to the left and right, but when performing the processing, Move upward to perform the required processing. Conversely, the pedestal may move in the horizontal direction.
[0013]
First, as shown in FIG. 1, for example, a strand group 1 formed by assembling strands 1a made of thermoplastic resin such as nylon in a bundle is gripped by the first and second chucks 31 and 32. As a result of the upward movement, the wire group 1 is held in a state of protruding a certain amount upward from the insertion hole 2 a of the base 2. The movement of the chucks 31 and 32 will be described in detail later.
[0014]
Next, as shown in FIG. 2, the cone 4 is lowered, the conical protrusion 4a at the lower end thereof is inserted into the center of the projecting upper end of the strand group 1, and the strand group 1 is pushed open in the radial direction. Subsequently, as shown in FIG. 3, the presser body 5 is lowered and fixed on the base 2 in a state where the strand group 1 is pushed open.
The presser body 5 has, for example, a cylindrical lower end surface. The presser body 5 presses the center part of the strand group 1 pushed open in the radial direction. The cone 4 having the downward cone-shaped protrusion is retracted while being pressed by the presser body 5 so that the welding machine 6 can be inserted. The room for the space where the tip of the welding machine enters is left inside the presser body 5. The presser body 5 holds the wire group between the pedestal 2 and holds it firmly to the extent that it does not move.
[0015]
Thereafter, as shown in FIG. 4, the cone 4 is retracted in a state where the pushed wire group 1 is fixed to the base 2 by the presser body 5. Subsequently, the welding machine 6 moves to a position directly above the center of the strand group 1 and enters the presser body 5, and the periphery of the center of the strand group 1 pushed open by the tip of the welding machine 6 is circular. To be welded.
A welding machine using ultrasonic waves can be suitably used, and a circular welding tool 6a is provided at the tip. Inside the presser body 5, the strand group 1 pushed open between the pedestal 2 is pressed and welded. It is preferable that the inner periphery of the welded portion 81 by the welder 6 be adapted to the upper end periphery 2b of the insertion hole 2a.
[0016]
After welding, as shown in FIG. 5, the welding machine 6 moves backward, and subsequently, the cutting machine 7 moves to a position directly above the center of the strand group 1 and enters the presser body 5, The inner peripheral portion 81a of the welded portion 81 of the strand group 1 that has been pushed open is cut into a circular shape by the tip of the cutting machine 7.
The cutting machine 7 of the embodiment shown in the figure is formed in a truncated conical surface 7a whose outer peripheral surface of the tip is inclined with respect to the center line, and the circular conical surface 7a and the circular insertion hole 2a of the pedestal 2 are formed. A wire group is sandwiched between the upper edge 2b of the wire and cut. By cutting between the truncated conical surface 7a and the upper edge 2b of the insertion hole 2a and cutting, it is possible to produce a single brush having a uniform thickness and to cut continuously and repeatedly. It was. The frustoconical surface 7a and the upper edge 2b of the insertion hole 2a are formed of a material having a required hardness or the like so that the cutting process can be repeated many times. Alternatively, a required heat treatment is performed.
In this way, the sheet-like brush unit 8 having the hub (welding portion) 81 at the center and projecting a large number of hair feet (element wires) 82 in the radial direction from the hub 81 is formed (FIG. 6). reference). The welding around the center of the wire group 1 by the welding machine 6 and the cutting of the inner part of the welding part by the cutting machine 7 may be performed in the reverse order. That is, after the center portion of the wire group 1 is cut into a circular shape by the cutting machine 7, the periphery thereof may be welded in an annular shape by the welding machine 6.
In this way, the wire group 1 is welded in an annular shape while being fixed on the pedestal, and the inside of the portion to be welded is also fixed while being fixed on the pedestal, so that the thickness of the welded portion 81 is uniform. Finished.
[0017]
Thereafter, the first and second chucks 31 and 32 are both lowered while holding the strand group 1, and the strand group 1 is temporarily moved below the insertion hole 2a as shown in FIG. Retreat. Subsequently, with the shaft pipe 9 being held, the pipe hand machine 10 moves to a position directly above the center of the hub 81 of the brush unit 8 manufactured on the base 2, and as shown in FIG. As the hand machine 10 descends, the shaft center pipe 9 enters the insertion hole 2 a of the base 2 from the hub 81, and the brush unit 8 is inserted and held in the shaft center pipe 9.
[0018]
After the brush unit 8 is inserted and held in the shaft pipe 9, the pipe hand machine 10 rises and the brush unit 8 is taken out from the pedestal 2 together with the shaft pipe 9. Wait in position.
[0019]
When the wire group 1 is once retracted downward in the insertion hole 2a, the second chuck 32 is opened and moved downward while the first chuck 31 remains closed, and moved downward by a predetermined amount. After that, it is closed and the wire group 1 is grasped again. Thereafter, the first chuck 31 is released, and the second chuck 32 is raised to a predetermined position. Then, after the predetermined position is raised, the first chuck 31 is closed, and after these operations are finished, the chucks 31 and 32 are both raised, and the wire group 1 grasped by these is inserted into the base 2. A certain amount of protrusion is held upward from the hole 2a. By doing so, a certain amount of the wire group 1 can be protruded and held upward from the insertion hole 2a of the base 2 without causing the wire group 1 to drop downward.
[0020]
These steps are repeated, and the single brushes 8 are sequentially inserted and held in the shaft center pipe 9 as shown in FIG. After a predetermined number of brushes 8 are inserted and held in the shaft pipe 9, the shaft pipe 9 and the brushes 8 are removed from the pipe hand machine 10, and the pipe hand machine 10 receives a new one from the holder. The shaft pipe 9 is taken out and set. Further, after being taken out from the pipe hand machine 10, the brush unit 8 is fixed to the shaft pipe 9 as shown in FIG. In the embodiments shown in the drawings, a flange 91 is integrally formed at one end in the length direction, and an axial pipe 9 made of a thermoplastic resin such as nylon having an annular receiving groove 92 at the other end is used. The brushes 8 are sequentially inserted from the receiving groove 92 side with the portion 91 positioned upward. Then, after a predetermined number of brushes 8 are inserted and held, a cylindrical portion 94 having a projection 93 inserted into the receiving groove 92 and made of the same material as the shaft pipe 9 is used. The protrusion 93 is inserted into the receiving groove 92, the lid 94 is joined to the shaft center pipe 9 by a sealing means using ultrasonic waves, and a predetermined number of brushes 8 are fixed on the shaft center pipe 9, thereby rotating the brush 11. Is produced.

In each figure, a plurality of pins 14 into which the axial pipe 9 of the rotating brush 11 can be inserted are provided on the outer peripheral portion of the upper surface of the turntable 13 which is rotationally driven by the motor 12 in the direction of arrow R. A rubber roll 15 that contacts the rotating brush 11 inserted into the pin 14 and a cutter 16 such as a clipper are disposed at the outer peripheral position 13. Then, while rotating the rotating brush 11 inserted into the pin 14 by the rubber roll 15, the ends of the bristle feet 82 of the rotating brush 11 are cut and aligned by the cutter 16.
[0022]
Further, at the rear position in the rotation direction of the cutter 16 on the turntable 13, two finishing processing machines 17 such as a grinder that come into contact with the tips of the hair feet 82 of the rotating brush 11 inserted into the pins 14 are arranged in the front and rear. . By rotating these finishing processing machines 17 forward and backward, the tips of the bristle feet 82 of the rotating brush 11 are rounded.
[0023]
