TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to an isothermal bag that keeps food and beverage temperatures even inside.
[0002]
Background of the Invention People are close to cold food or drinks (eg water, tea, wine, soft drinks, etc.) especially when the weather is hot and the refrigerator is not available, such as on the beach, tennis court or during a long trip. ) Is often desired.
As is widely known today, there are a variety of systems that keep food and drink cold without the use of a refrigerator. The system includes a thermos, a portable cooler, and a thermos, which can have several disadvantages, large and small for the user. Thermos are usually cumbersome and it is inconvenient for people to carry them when they are finished drinking. Portable coolers (cooled with artificial ice) are cumbersome and heavy to carry. The thermos is lightweight but equally difficult to handle. Thus, portable coolers and thermos are only used when the user carries both drinks and food, i.e. accepts all the inconveniences associated with their weight and size. However, if people do not carry any of the above cooling systems for inconvenience reasons, they will only have one cold drink or some food packed in a small box or container (eg yogurt, ice cream, sandwich, etc.) Often wants to possess. Thus, food and drinks become warm during a short period of time, especially in the sun, which can damage appetite.
Many solutions have been developed to solve this problem. For example, US Pat. No. 4,211,091 describes a bendable insulated lunch bag that is adapted to transport and store food, but is not specifically designed for bottles. This bag fastener is obtained by adhesive tape. Nevertheless, in order to completely close the bag, the entire bottle must be placed in the bag itself. In fact, the user needs to open and close the bag every time it drinks, which is uncomfortable and increases heat exchange inside and outside the bag. The described bag requires a bendable carrying strap on the side, which allows the bag to be carried in both full and empty conditions. The strap is secured to the bag by a removable joining member that is susceptible to dust and sand, which results in higher manufacturing costs and manufacturing problems.
U.S. Pat. No. 4,669,632 describes a bag with two gas-impermeable films as well, but there is no specific opening considered for bottles.
Another solution is to use a specific bottle bag as described in US Pat. Nos. Des 403,926 and 5,890,809. However, these containers do not completely cover the bottle and reduce thermal insulation. U.S. Pat. Nos. Des 409,450 and 5,804,265 refer to other bottle bags that actually completely cover the bottles, but there are no holes for drinking directly from them. In this case, as also described in U.S. Pat. No. 4,211,091, the user needs to open and close the bag each time he drinks, resulting in the resulting warm air inflow and action. Accompany.
US Pat. No. Des 392,025 provides a fairly effective solution because the bag covers up to the neck of the bottle, thus allowing the user to open the bottle without opening the bag. . Unfortunately, however, the bag is closed with a string, which results in being susceptible to dust, sand, and other unhygienic conditions, and is also expensive to manufacture. Dutch Patent No. 1001720, which describes a bag with a string around the entire opening side, also produces the inconvenience described above.
Another known patent is European Patent No. 0710608, which describes a heat-insulating carrying container formed from a heat-sealed, bendable, multi-layered resin. The double carrying portion has a pair of mounting flaps, each having a central opening and separated from the handle portion by a notch. The mounting flaps are folded in order over the mouth of the bottle. However, the two attachment flaps have a shape and size that does not completely cover the bottle. Conversely, the two cavities on the longer side of the bag cause the warm air flow to create two gaps that warm the sides of the bottle relative to the full length of the bottle. Furthermore, the presence of a carrying handle at all times is a bottleneck in the beverage.
[0003]
DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a user with a completely new isothermal bag that can maintain the temperature of food or drink equally and does not have the same inconvenience as the cooling system described above.
This object is achieved by a bendable isothermal pocket bag. The bag is made by folding a rectangular foil in two and then secured by two sides which are then welded or otherwise joined. The final product is a bag with only one opening on one of the short sides. This opening is delimited by two flaps each having a hole of approximately the same size as the bottle neck. These holes are located near the open short edge. The edge of each hole is elastic or can be reinforced by welding or a ring made of different materials. These two holes are substantially coaxial.
The bag is approximately the same size as the bottle, so that the bag can completely wrap the bottle.
The foil is composed of three different layers of synthetic material that are soft and bendable, especially used for food. The outer layer is reflective, the intermediate layer has thermal insulation properties, and the inner layer is waterproof and / or reflective. The foil may also consist of four layers, in which case the outer layer is reflective and the two middle layers have thermal insulation properties, while the inner layer is waterproof and / or reflective. It is. Also, a foil with a single layer characterized by heat insulating properties, reflective properties and waterproof properties can be used. The isothermal bag can have rounded corners and the bottom can be folded.
[0004]
An elastic band, string, or ribbon can be secured to the outside of the bag and rolled up or folded to be small and pocket-sized before and after use. The rubber band, string or ribbon holds the rolled up or folded bag and prevents it from spreading again.
Another solution is provided by a closed short side hole, approximately the same size as the bottle neck. As another solution, the bag can have a single hole on the closed short side. In this case, the short side edge may be provided with a small grip and a closure such as a handle.
Bags can also be made by joining two rectangular foils that are secured together along three sides, two long sides and one short side. This isothermal bag has many of the advantages offered by other cooling systems, but does not have those drawbacks. In fact, this bag is easy to handle, very light, reusable, hard to tear, easy to carry and easy to use. This bag is a pocket-sized bag, so it can be stored very easily and does not get in the way.
Since the material is very lightweight, the weight of the bag is very small. However, although the material is very lightweight, it is extremely durable so that the bag can be used many times. On the other hand, this bag is very inexpensive and can be discarded after a single use.
The hole of the bag may be used as a handle, and the user can easily carry the bottle by holding the hole with one finger.
Unlike a normal warming bag, this bag completely encases the bottle, thus increasing the heat insulation. The hole in the bag allows the user to drink straight from the bottle without having to open and close the bag each time it drinks, thus reducing heat exchange inside and outside the bag. The bag closure is simple and functional while being hygienic.
One of the main advantages of this bag is its hygienic nature. In fact, the bag is composed of a waterproof material used especially for food or drink. Condensation (which occurs when a cold bottle is in contact with warm air) is greatly reduced by the present invention, so that the bag is condensed and the material on the surface of the place where the bottle is located (sand, seaweed, red) Unhygienic mixing with the earth (red earth, dust) can be avoided. In this way, the user can avoid soiling a container or hand in which an isothermal bag is placed, such as a handbag, a belt bag, a rucksack or the like. Further, since this bag is made of a waterproof material, it can be easily washed.
Further characteristics and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the description of several specific embodiments of the bag described above. This embodiment is preferred but not essential and is only given for the purpose of illustrating the accompanying drawings.
[0005]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION FIG. 1 is a front view of a bag manufactured according to a first embodiment.
FIG. 2 is a front view of the bag when the first flap wraps around the neck and upper part of the bottle.
FIG. 3 is a front view of the bag when both flaps wrap the neck and upper part of the bottle.
FIG. 4 is a perspective view of the bag when rolled round.
FIG. 5 is a front view of a bag manufactured according to the second embodiment.
FIG. 6 is a front view of a bag manufactured according to the third embodiment.
[0006]
The isothermal bag 1 produced according to the first embodiment is made by folding a rectangular foil into two along the short side and then joining the two long sides by welding. The final product is a bag with only one opening on the second short side. The opening is bounded by two flaps 2 and 3. Each flap 2, 3 has holes 2.1, 3.1 that are approximately the same size as the neck 4 of the bottle. These holes 2.1, 3.1 are located in the vicinity of the open short edge 2.2, 3.2.
The dimensions of the bag 1 are almost the same as the bottle 4.
The rectangular foil is composed of three different layers of soft and bendable synthetic material, such as PET, used especially for food. The outer layer is reflective, the intermediate layer has thermal insulation properties, and the inner layer is waterproof and / or reflective.
If it is desired to maintain the temperature of the cold water in the bottle 4 as long as possible even under sunlight, the bottle is placed in the isothermal bag 1. Thanks to this size, the bag 1 is similar to the case of completely and totally wrapping the bottle 4.
The hole 2.1 in the first flap 2 must coincide with the end of the bottle neck 4. The neck of the bottle is placed inside the hole 2.1. The flap 2 is then folded until it completely covers the upper part of the bottle 4. The hole 3.1 in the second flap 3 must coincide with the end of the bottle neck 4. The neck of the bottle is placed inside the hole 3.1. The second flap 3 is then folded until it completely covers the first flap 2. As a result, the upper part of the bottle 4 is completely covered by the bag 1 and the neck of the bottle comes out of the two holes 2.1, 3.1 so that it can be taken out of the bottle without opening the flaps 2, 3. It becomes possible.
Since the edges of the two holes 2.1, 3.1 are fitted on the neck 4 of the bottle, the two flaps 2, 3 cannot be lifted up.
The isothermal bag 1 produced according to the second embodiment also has a closed short side with a hole 5 of approximately the same size as the bottle neck 4. In this case, the bottle 4 is placed in the bag 1 so that the neck of the bottle passes through the hole 5. The two holes 2.1, 3.1 serve as handles for carrying the bag 1 with the bottle 4 inside.
The isothermal bag 1 manufactured according to the third embodiment has no holes 2.1, 3.1 on the open short side, whereas the closed short side has the above-mentioned holes 5. In this case, the open short side is provided with a closure such as a small grip 6 and a handle 7 for carrying the bag 1 with the bottle 4 inside.
The bag 1 is made of a very lightweight material so that the user does not feel the weight of the bag while carrying the bottle. However, the nature of this material makes it possible to keep the temperature of the liquid inside the bottle 4 even in a very hygienic state.
