Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a sprinkling head connector that connects a hose and a head of a sprinkler such as a shower.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As an example of a watering tool, a shower used in a bathroom or the like uses a connecting tool to connect a shower head that sprays pressure water and a hose.
This connector has a cylindrical shape, and a screw portion for screwing the water supply port of the shower head is engraved at the tip, and the base end is formed in an elongated cylindrical shape so that one end of the hose can be fitted.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, the conventional shower head connector has a simple structure in which the shower head is screwed onto the tip and can be easily removed by anyone, so what is installed in public baths, pools, etc. There was a problem that the head was removed and brought home.
In addition, it has no water-saving ability because it has a simple configuration in which the pressure water from the hose is supplied to the shower head side and injected from the sprinkling port without mixing outside air.
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a sprinkling head connector that can prevent the sprinkling head from being stolen and can save water during use. .
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the invention according to claim 1 of the present invention is a sprinkling head connector interposed between one end of a hose and a water supply port of the sprinkling head, and a main body of the connecting tool. Is provided with a through-hole from the base end side to which one end of the hose is attached toward the tip end side to which the watering head is mounted, and forms an annular groove from the end face on the tip end side toward the base end side. As a result, a water supply cylinder is formed on the inner peripheral side, and an attachment cylinder is formed on the outer peripheral side. An outer cylinder is rotatably provided on the outer peripheral portion of the attachment cylinder, and the position covered by the outer cylinder is the outer end. A communication hole is formed between the outer peripheral surface of the cylinder and the through hole.
In the invention according to claim 2, an outer annular groove is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the mounting cylinder, while an inner annular groove is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the outer cylinder. An annular elastic member is fitted between the inner annular groove and the outer cylinder is rotatably provided with respect to the mounting cylinder.
The invention according to claim 3 is characterized in that the connector main body is made of a metal material, and the water outlet at the tip side of the water supply tube is formed in a hexagonal column shape into which a hexagon wrench can be inserted.
[0005]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the illustrated examples.
FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a sprinkling head connector according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a longitudinal sectional view showing the sprinkling head connector.
This sprinkling head connector 1 connects a shower sprinkling head (shower head) 8 and a water supply hose 10 and has a water-saving function.
The shower head 8 is formed of a plastic material in which the diameter of the water conduit 8c from the water supply port 8a on the base end side toward the water spray port 8b on the front end side is gradually increased in diameter. This shower head 8 has a male screw 8d carved on the outer peripheral surface on the water supply port 8a side.
[0006]
The connector 1 is provided with an outer cylinder 6 on the main body 2 and is formed of a metal material. The main body 2 has a substantially cylindrical shape as shown in FIGS. 2 to 4 and is provided with a male screw 2c on the outer peripheral surface on the base end 2a side.
Moreover, this main body 2 forms the through-hole 1a for water conveyance toward the front-end | tip 2b from the base end 2a. As shown in FIG. 2, the through-hole 1 a is formed with a reduced diameter portion 22 that is slightly recessed from the base end 2 a through a smooth concave curved surface 21, and the distal end side of the reduced diameter portion 22. Is formed in an enlarged diameter portion 23 that is slightly enlarged.
Further, the connector 1 forms an annular groove 2d from the end surface on the distal end 2b side toward the proximal end side, and configures a water supply tube 3 on the inner peripheral side and an attachment tube 4 on the outer peripheral side.
The pipe through hole 1 a passes through the water supply tube 3. The water feeding cylinder 3 has a length that slightly protrudes from the tip 41 of the mounting cylinder 4 so that it can communicate with the shower head 8.
And as shown in FIG. 3, the front end side water supply port 3a of this water supply cylinder 3 forms the outer peripheral surface in the shape of a hexagonal column, and it can be rotated by a hexagon spanner.
[0007]
The mounting cylinder 4 has a female screw 4a formed on the inner peripheral surface. An outer peripheral annular groove 4c is formed on the outer peripheral surface 4b of the mounting cylinder 4. Further, the main body 2 is provided with a small communication hole 5 so as to open near the base end of the enlarged diameter portion 23 of the through hole 1a from a position close to the outer peripheral annular groove 4c of the outer peripheral surface 4b. Yes.
Although not shown, the communication hole 5 is provided with a check valve to prevent water leakage. In addition, when there is no possibility that the water spout 8b is blocked, it is not necessary to provide a check valve, and even if there is no check valve, the outer cylinder 6 prevents accidental ejection from the communication hole 5 to the side. The
As a result, the inside of the through hole 1a adjacent to the inner end 5b of the communication hole 5 becomes the air-fuel mixture forming portion 11, and the air-fuel mixture water is supplied to the shower head 8 side and can be stably injected from the water spout 8b. It becomes.
[0008]
The outer cylinder 6 has a slightly larger diameter than the main body 2, extends from the tip 2 b to substantially the center, and covers the outer end 5 a of the communication hole 5.
In addition, the outer cylinder 6 has an inner peripheral annular groove 6b formed on an inner peripheral surface 6a facing the outer peripheral annular groove 4c. A ring 7 is inserted between the inner annular groove 6b and the outer annular groove 4c.
Thereby, the outer cylinder 6 is prevented from coming off and is provided so as to be rotatable with respect to the mounting cylinder 4. When the outer cylinder 6 is gripped, the shower head 8 can be moved freely.
[0009]
Thus, the sprinkling head connector 1 is mounted using a hexagon wrench when connecting the shower head 8 and the hose 10 together.
First, the socket 9 attached in advance to the one end 10a of the hose 10 is inserted.
Then, a hexagonal spanner is engaged with the outer periphery of the water supply tube 3 while holding the socket 9, and the female screw 9a of the socket 9 and the male screw 2c of the base end 2a are screwed together by rotating this.
At this time, since the tip side water supply port 3a is formed in a hexagonal column shape, unlike the conventional case where the screwdriver is engaged with the minus groove and turned, it hardly slides. Therefore, it is possible to work safely without damaging the water pipe 3.
[0010]
After the hose 8 is attached in this way, the water supply port 8a side of the shower head 8 is inserted into the annular groove 2d on the tip 2b side. Then, after the male screw 8d faces the female screw 4a of the mounting cylinder 4, the shower head 8 side is rotated.
At this time, since the hose 10 and the connector 1 are firmly connected, the shower head 8 can be rotated while holding the connector 1 side.
Therefore, the shower head 8 is also connected to the connector 1, and even if the shower head is removed and the outer cylinder 6 is rotated, the outer cylinder is rotatably attached. Since it cannot be easily loosened, the problem that the connector 1 is removed and brought back as in the prior art is prevented.
[0011]
When the shower is used after this installation, hot water or tap water is supplied to the hose 10 by opening the cock.
Along with this, when the pressure water flows from the small diameter through hole 1 a to the large diameter side, the inside of the through hole 1 a becomes negative pressure and the outside air is sucked from the communication hole 5. Then, outside air is mixed into the pressure water, and the mixed-air jet forming unit 11 forms mixed-air jet water, which is fed to the shower head 8 side as a high-pressure water stream containing bubbles.
Then, the mixed air jet water is stably jetted from the water spout 8b of the shower head 8. For this reason, compared with the case where the mere high pressure water is injected like the past, use water reduces significantly.
By the way, since the main body 2 is made of a metal material and the shower head 8 is made of a plastic material, the connector 1 formed in this way can be separated into a metal material and a plastic material when both are disposed of. It becomes easy.
In addition, although the said Example demonstrated the case where it applied to a shower, it is needless to say that it can employ | adopt widely also to other watering tools.
[0012]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the first aspect of the present invention, the communication hole is formed between the outer peripheral surface of the mounting cylinder constituting the connector main body and the through hole. When a negative pressure is generated in the through-hole, the outside air is sucked from the communication hole, and the mixed-air jet water containing bubbles can be stably sprayed from the watering head. Is possible.
In addition, the position where the communication hole is covered with the outer cylinder is the outer end, and when the user grips the outer cylinder, the communication hole is not blocked with fingers, so that the water-saving function is impaired when the watering head is used. Is prevented.
Furthermore, by forming an annular groove from the end surface on the distal end side of the connector main body toward the proximal end side, a water supply cylinder is configured on the inner peripheral side, and an attachment cylinder is configured on the outer peripheral side. Since the outer cylinder is rotatably provided, it is difficult to remove the watering head, and theft can be prevented.
[0013]
In the invention according to claim 2, an annular elastic member is fitted between the outer annular groove of the mounting cylinder and the inner annular groove of the outer cylinder, and the outer cylinder is rotatably provided with respect to the mounting cylinder. Therefore, there is an advantage that it is easy to use because the outer cylinder can be securely held without coming out and the watering head can be moved freely.
Moreover, since the connector main body is formed of a metal material, the invention according to claim 3 is made of a synthetic resin material and easily separated from the watering head when disposed of. And since the tip side water supply port of the water tube is formed in a hexagonal column shape, the hexagon wrench hardly slips compared to the case of using a flathead screwdriver, so that each part can be attached safely and firmly. There is.
