Description
Claims (10)
- 変速機用流体に晒すことができる軸受アセンブリの製造方法において、
第1の流体給送用孔を有するベース部と、前記ベース部から直立する、内周面と外周面とを持つ環状壁と、前記ベース部から延設するフランジとを備えた軸受ハウジングを設けるステップと、
軸の1つの端部に変速機用流体が前記軸受アセンブリの中を貫通して流れることを可能にする第2の流体給送用孔を有する、前記軸の直径と同じ直径のボールを設けるステップと、
前記環状壁によって囲まれた前記軸受ハウジングの前記ベース部に、内周面を持つ半球形のカップ状部を形成するステップと、
ライナをストリップ形状に切断し、該ライナを予めライナの重複やライナストリップ間の隙間なく、基準となる球形状になるように金型内で成形ライナを成形するステップと、
前記第1の流体給送用孔の近傍を除いた前記カップ状部の内周面と前記環状壁の内周面とに前記成形ライナを接着剤により接着し、非吸湿性である材料から前記成形ライナを形成することによって、変速機用流体を吸収しないようにするステップと、
前記カップ状部の中に前記ボールを着座させるステップと、
前記ボール上へ前記環状壁を据え込むステップと、を有することを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法において、約10%またはそれ以上の延性を持つ材料から前記軸受ハウジングを鋳造することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項2に記載の方法において、スチール、アルミニウム合金、マグネシウム合金あるいは亜鉛合金から成るグループの1つから前記材料を選択することを特徴とする方法。
- 上記請求項のいずれか一項に記載の方法において、前記軸が円筒形状であり、中を通して前記軸を受け入れられる大きさの孔を持つ金型によって前記環状壁が前記ボール上へ据え込まれ、前記軸を受け入れられる大きさの孔は前記金型の下部面へ向かって外方向へ傾斜がつけられて、前記ボール上へ前記環状壁を据え込むように成形された半球形スカートを画定することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項4に記載の方法において、前記環状壁のリムの外径の方が前記軸の直径よりも大きいことを特徴とする方法。
- 変速機用流体に晒すことができる、変速装置の軸受アセンブリにおいて、
第1の流体給送用孔を有するベース部と、前記ベース部から直立する、内周面と外周面とを持つ環状壁と、前記ベース部から延設するフランジと、前記環状壁によって囲まれた前記軸受ハウジングの前記ベース部内の、内周面を持つ半球形のカップ状部と、ライナをストリップ形状に切断し、該ライナを予めライナの重複やライナストリップ間の隙間なく、基準となる球形状になるように金型内で成形された成形ライナであって、非吸湿性である材料から形成することによって変速機用流体を吸収しないようにした前記成形ライナと、該成形ライナを前記第1の流体給送用孔の近傍を除いた前記カップ状部の内周面と前記環状壁の内周面とに接着する接着剤とを備えた軸受ハウジングと、
前記変速装置の第1のエレメントの軸と、前記軸の1つの端部に配置され、変速機用流体が前記軸受アセンブリの中を貫通して流れることを可能にする第2の流体給送用孔を有するボールと、を有し、かつ、前記ボールの直径が前記軸の直径と同じであり、
前記カップ状部の中に前記ボールを着座させ、前記ボール上へ前記環状壁を据え込むことを特徴とする軸受アセンブリ。 - 請求項6に記載の軸受アセンブリにおいて、前記ライナが自己潤滑式ライナであることを特徴とする軸受アセンブリ。
- 請求項6乃至7のいずれか一項に記載の軸受アセンブリにおいて、前記軸受ハウジングが鋳造された部品であることを特徴とする軸受アセンブリ。
- 請求項6乃至8のいずれか一項に記載の軸受アセンブリにおいて、前記軸と前記ボールとを互いに一体として形成することを特徴とする軸受アセンブリ。
- 請求項6乃至9のいずれか一項に記載の軸受アセンブリにおいて、前記軸受ハウジングが前記変速装置の第2のエレメントと接続されることを特徴とする軸受アセンブリ。
