また、塵詰りによりフィルタ106を掃除する際、必ずしも開閉弁103を完全に閉止させなくても開閉弁103の軸により蓋105の溝を塞ぐことなく蓋105が外せるようになっており、そのため開閉弁103を完全に閉止せずに誤って蓋105を開けたとき水が噴き出してしまうといった問題があった。

本発明は、上記課題を解決するためになされたもので、本発明の目的は、万一開閉弁の下流で漏水事故が起こった場合でも即座に開閉弁を閉止することができ、また開閉弁が開成しているときにはフィルタの蓋を外されないように配慮した止水栓装置を提供することにある。

上記目的を達成するために、請求項1では、水の流れる通路が形成された本体と、この本体に配置された前記通路を開閉する開閉弁と、前記開閉弁を操作するレバーハンドルと、前記開閉弁の近傍で本体に固定された蓋と、この蓋を取り外すことにより取り外し可能なフィルタとを備えた止水栓装置において、前記開閉弁が開成しているときは前記レバーハンドルのレバー部と前記蓋とが少なくとも一部は重なり合い、前記開閉弁が閉止しているときは前記レバーハンドルのレバー部と前記蓋とが重なり合わないようにした。
