【発明の実施の形態】
本発明に係わる足場用幅木によれば、幅木の下端部を足場板の係止クランプに係止して幅木と足場板とを一体化するものであり、幅木を取り付ける場合には、先ず、幅木本体の両端側面の下端部に軸着した逆U字形状の係止金具を、足場板の係止クランプへ上方から差し込んで係止させ、幅木本体の下端縁が足場板上面と近接または当接するように載置する。次に、固定した係止金具を支点に幅木本体を建枠の脚柱側へ回動させ、幅木本体の上端縁が脚柱と近接または当接するまで傾倒させ、幅木本体の両端側面の上端部に取り付けた挟持金具にて脚柱を挟持して取り付け完了となる。

図1及び図2は建築現場などで複数の建枠Aを所定間隔にて立設し、隣接する建枠Aの横架材Aa間に足場板Bを、また建枠Aの脚柱Ab間に筋交いCを掛け止めてなる仮設用足場を示しており、前記足場板Bの周囲には本発明の足場用幅木1を取り付けている。前記幅木1は、足場板Bと略同一長さの軽量溝形鋼部材からなる幅木本体2を主体とし、該幅木本体2の両端側面2aの下端部にそれぞれ足場板Bの係止クランプBa上へ係止させる係止金具3を備えていると共に、幅木本体2の両端側面2aの上端部にはそれぞれ建枠Aの脚柱Abを挟持させる挟持金具4を備えている。

そして、この挟持金具4を板材である支持材12の一端部に固着する一方、支持材12の他端部を幅木本体2の両端側面2aの上端部に軸体13にて回動自在に軸着しており、図4に示すように、幅木本体2の傾斜角度が変化しても挟持金具4にて建枠Aの脚柱Abを確実に挟持できるようにしている。なお、支持材12の取り付け向きを幅木本体2の左右側で変えていて、何れか一方を上向き、他方を下向きとなるように軸着しており、図に示すように、仮設用足場に連続して幅木1を取り付けた際に、各幅木1の挟持金具4の高さ位置が上下にずれることで挟持金具4同士が干渉しないようにしている。
