Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is preferably used when, for example, a display device such as an LCD (liquid crystal display device) is attached to a housing in a portable information terminal, a mobile phone, an information home appliance, an in-vehicle device, and other general electronic devices. The present invention relates to a punched cushion material with an adhesive, its holding structure, and its manufacturing method. Hereinafter, the case where this invention is used for a portable information terminal is demonstrated as an example for convenience.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Between the display device (LCD etc.) of the portable information terminal and the housing, a cushion material with a frame-shaped adhesive material is used to reduce the impact when dropped or prevent foreign matter from entering the display unit. Is installed. In that case, the sealing surface is secured by sticking the adhesive surface side to the housing and pressing the cushion material side with the display device. The cushioning material is generated on the holding member at regular intervals by punching the cushioning material into a desired shape with a punch after pressure-bonding the cushioning material onto a holding member such as a backing sheet via a double-sided tape.
[0003]
However, the cushioning material is affixed to the housing due to the generation of chips by punching, adsorption of floating foreign matters during transportation and storage due to static electricity generated during punching, and adhesion of foreign matters during transportation and storage by protruding double-sided tape adhesive. After that, it is indispensable to remove the adhering foreign matter, which has been a conventional problem. In particular, the adhesive has a problem that it is difficult to cleanly remove it due to its ductility.
[0004]
In order to solve these problems, for example, four types of solutions as shown in (1) to (4) below have been tried.
(1) Reduce the generation of chips during punching (general method).
Using a plastic base material in which chips are hard to be generated, and making a full cut with a punch (generating a penetrating portion) and dropping the chips, the chips are difficult to adhere. (2) Prevents chips from adhering during punching (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
An adhesive layer having an adhesive surface is added to the lowermost layer of the punching member before punching, and chips generated during punching are attached to the adhesive surface. When the product is shipped, the adhesive layer is peeled off and discarded to prevent chips from adhering to the product side.
(3) Preventing the generation of static electricity during punching (see, for example, Patent Document 2).
Metal deposition is applied to the surface of the plastic substrate to prevent static electricity generated during punching and peeling of the cushioning material.
(4) Use of air blowing to prevent the adhesive from protruding (see, for example, Patent Document 3). By punching in a state where air pressure is applied to the adhesive tape, the adhesive tape is punched into an accurate shape to prevent the adhesive from protruding.

Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 11-10598 (page 3, FIG. 1)
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the conventional techniques shown in the above (1) to (4) have the following problems. (1) The cost of the disposal member is high.
The adhesive layer (2) is discarded at the time of shipment, and the plastic substrate (3) is discarded in the manufacturing process of the portable information terminal, and the cost ratio of the disposal member in the product cost increases. .
(2) The adhesive protrudes.
In punch cutting, since the punch blade is brought into contact with the adhesive of the double-sided tape, the above methods (1) to (3) cannot prevent the adhesive from protruding in a desired shape in principle.
(3) The device cost is high.
As a method for solving the problem (2), there is the method (4). However, it is necessary to newly install an air supply path or the like in the punching device.
[0007]
This invention was made to solve the above-mentioned problems of the prior art, can prevent adhesion of foreign matter, can use the existing equipment as it is, and can also cut the cost rise with adhesive, An object of the present invention is to provide a holding structure and a manufacturing method thereof.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
Holding structure of the adhesive with punching cushion material according to the invention this includes a cushion material having punched surface formed by punching, both surfaces one surface on one side which is substantially perpendicular to the punching direction of the cushion member is adhered An adhesive and a holding member that is detachably bonded to the other surface of the double-sided adhesive are provided, and the double-sided adhesive is offset to a position retracted from the end of the punched surface of the cushion material. The punching cushion material with an adhesive material provided is bonded to the protective member provided with an adhesive surface on one side, and the holding member side of the punching cushion material with an adhesive material is bonded and held to the adhesive surface of the protective member. It is made to polymerize so that.
[0010]
Also, the manufacturing method of the punched cushion material with adhesive according to the present invention is the first method having a predetermined size by punching a double-sided adhesive material in which a holding member is bonded to one surface and a release sheet is bonded to the other surface. The step of forming a through hole, the step of adhesively polymerizing the cushion material after removing the release sheet, and the size of the cushion material corresponding to the position of the first through hole is larger than that of the first through hole. The double-sided adhesive material is cut from the cushion material into a frame shape that surrounds the outer periphery of the second through-hole and is larger than the first through-hole. Then, a half-cut process for forming a kerf until reaching the middle of the thickness of the holding member is included.
[0011]

Reference numerals 2 a and 3 a denote inner peripheral surfaces formed by punching the double-sided adhesive 2 and the holding member 3, respectively, and form a first through hole 6. A protective member 4 protects the punched cushion material 5 with an adhesive by adhering and holding the holding member 3 side of the punched cushion material 5 with an adhesive on an adhesive surface 4a provided on the upper surface of the figure. .
[0014]
The main feature of the present invention is that, as shown in FIG. 1, the inner peripheral surface 2a formed by punching the double-sided adhesive material 2 is retracted by a dimension W from the end A of the punching surface 1a of the cushion material 1. It is offset to the position. The offset dimension W is appropriately determined depending on the application to be used, and is not particularly limited. Specifically, in this embodiment, the offset dimension W is about 0.5 mm.
[0015]
The punching cushion material 5 with adhesive material according to the first embodiment configured as described above is pasted as a cushioning material between a display device (LCD or the like) of a portable information terminal and a housing (both not shown), for example. In this case, first, the double-sided adhesive 2 and the holding member 3 are divided, and the cushion material 1 is peeled from the holding member 3 together with the double-sided adhesive 2. Then, by sticking the adhesive surface side of the double-sided adhesive material 2 to the housing and fixing the cushion material 1 side pressed by the display device, a sealed state between the display device and the housing is ensured.
[0016]
In general, after punching the adhesive tape, the foreign material that adheres and is held on the side surface of the adhesive includes chipping during punching, floating foreign matter that is dropped or electrostatically adsorbed, etc. In the case of a punched cushion material with a material, even if there is an attached foreign matter due to the presence of the offset, these attached foreign matters are hidden in the cushion material 1 and can be regarded as having no foreign matter in appearance.
[0017]
Moreover, in the holding structure of the punched cushion material with the adhesive material, the floating foreign material dropped on the protective member 4 is adhered and held on the adhesive surface 4a of the protective member 4, so the foreign material cannot move to the cushion material 1, Adherence of foreign matter during transportation and storage can be prevented, and a state in which no foreign matter is attached can be ensured until just before being attached to the portable information terminal.
[0018]
As described above, according to the first embodiment, the side surface of the double-sided adhesive material 2 is offset from the side surface of the cushion material 1 on the side surface of the inner opening of the punching cushion material 5 with adhesive, and is generated during punching. Since the chip is prevented from sticking to the side of the adhesive by protruding from the punching surface 2a of the double-sided adhesive 2, it can be supplied in a clean state with no foreign matter attached, so the foreign matter attached to the adhesive (adhesive) can be removed. There is no need for work or the like, and the effect of improving the efficiency of the assembly work can be obtained.
[0019]
Embodiment 2. FIG.
3, 4, and 5 are diagrams schematically illustrating a method for manufacturing a punched cushion material with an adhesive according to Embodiment 2 of the present invention, and FIG. 3 is a diagram in which a holding member is bonded to a double-sided adhesive. FIG. 4 is a diagram showing a process until a first through hole having a predetermined dimension is sequentially formed by punching and wound up on a reel. FIG. 4 shows a cushioning material by removing the release sheet from the workpiece formed in the previous process. FIG. 5 shows a process until a second through-hole is formed in the cushion material by punching to form a punched cushion material with an adhesive, and FIG. 5 shows a process up to a final process of attaching a protective member thereto. FIG.
[0020]
As shown in FIG. 3A, a double-sided adhesive tape supply reel 11 for feeding out the double-sided adhesive tape 15 and a holding member on the supply side on the left side of the drawing with respect to a pair of winding rollers 12a arranged opposite to each other. A holding member supply reel 12 for unwinding 3 is disposed, and on the processing side on the right side of the figure, a punching device 13 for forming a first through hole 6 having a predetermined dimension and a workpiece for winding up the workpiece A take-up roller 14a and a take-up reel 14 are sequentially provided.
[0021]
In the process of FIG. 3, first, as shown in FIG. 3A, the holding member 3 is rotated on the one side of the double-sided adhesive 2 by the synchronous rotation of the holding member supply reel 12 and the take-up roller 12 a. The double-sided adhesive tape 15 (FIG. 3B) provided with is supplied by the synchronous rotation of the double-sided adhesive tape supply reel 11 and the take-up roller 12a.
[0022]
Here, the winding roller 12a also serves as a pressure roller for pressing the holding member 3 to the double-sided adhesive tape 15. As shown in FIG. 3 (c), the double-sided adhesive tape 15 and the holding member 3 are bonded by this pressure bonding. It becomes the superposition | polymerization sheet | seat 16 of the structure adhere | attached on the adhesive surface of the double-sided adhesive material 2. FIG. In addition, the adhesive force with respect to the double-sided adhesive material 2 in the polymerization sheet 16 is stronger in the holding member 3 than in the release sheet 2a, and the release sheet 2a can be easily peeled off.
[0023]
The superposed sheet 16 bonded as described above is sent to the right in the figure, and is fully cut by the punching device 13 so as to generate a through portion having a desired shape, and has a predetermined dimension as shown in FIG. The first through-hole 6 is formed into a through-hole-processed polymer sheet 16 a formed in a large number at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction of the polymer sheet 16, and is formed on the take-up reel 14 by the synchronous rotation of the take-up roller 14 a and the take-up reel 14. It is wound up.
[0024]
Next, in the next process apparatus shown in FIG. 4A, the through hole processed polymer sheet 16a (FIG. 4B) wound around the take-up reel 14 in the process shown in FIG. The release sheet 2a is separated from the through-holes processed polymer sheet 16a by the synchronous rotation of the release sheet take-up reel 22 after passing through the take-up roller 21a and being fed by the rotation of the take-up roller 21a.
[0025]
The release sheet 16b (FIG. 4C) from which the release sheet 2a has been separated and removed is pressure-bonded by the cushion material 1 supplied by the synchronous rotation of the cushion material supply reel 23 and the take-up roller 23a and the take-up roller 23a. Then, a cushion material polymerization sheet 27 having a structure in which the release sheet 2a and the cushion material 1 are replaced (FIG. 4D) is formed.
[0026]
Here, the adhesive strength of the cushion material polymerization sheet 27 to the double-sided adhesive material 2 is stronger in the cushion material 1 than in the holding member 3, and when the cushion material 1 is attached to a portable information terminal, for example, the cushion material 1. It is possible to easily peel only the holding member 3 from the double-sided adhesive material 2 to which is attached.
[0027]
Next, the inner side of the cushioning material 1 is sequentially moved from the first through-hole 6 by the punching device 24 corresponding to the position of the first through-hole 6 by the synchronous rotation of the take-up roller 23a and the take-up roller 24a. The cushion member 1 is fully cut so as to form a second through-hole 7 having a small size, and surrounds the outer periphery of the second through-hole 7 and has a frame shape larger than that of the first through-hole 6. Half-cut from the surface portion through the double-sided adhesive 2 to the middle of the thickness of the holding member 3 to form a punched sheet 27a having a substantially rectangular cut groove 8 as viewed from above (FIG. 4 (e) )).
[0028]
Here, the size of the second through-hole 7 that is the full-cut portion of the cushion material 1 is made smaller inward than the first through-hole 6 that is the full-cut portion in the punching device 13. A structure having an offset as shown in FIG. Next, the unnecessary cushion material 1x outside the kerf 8 shown in FIG. 4E and the unnecessary double-sided adhesive material 2x are both removed by the take-up reel 25 while being taken up by the take-up roller 26a. By the synchronous rotation of the reel 26, the punched cushion material 5 with adhesive shown in FIG.
[0029]
FIG. 5 shows a manufacturing process in which the punched cushion material 5 with adhesive and the sheet-like protective member 4 wound around the take-up reel 26 in the process of FIG. A protective member supply reel 31 for supplying the protective member 4 provided with 4a and a supply reel 32 for supplying the punched cushion material 5 with an adhesive (the punched cushion material 5 with an adhesive wound by the take-up reel 26 in FIG. 4) The final punching cushion material structure 34 is generated by the synchronous rotation of the take-up roller 32 a having a pressure roller function, and is taken up by the take-up reel 33.
[0030]
Here, the protection member 4 serves as a lid that covers the through portion formed by the first through hole 6 and the second through hole 7 and prevents foreign matter from being mixed in from the general environment during transportation and storage. For example, floating foreign matter that has entered the protective member 4 from the penetrating portion is adsorbed and held on the adhesive surface 4a of the protective member 4, so that the foreign matter cannot move to the cushioning material 1 and prevent foreign matter from adhering during transportation and storage. It is possible to maintain a state in which no foreign matter is attached until just before being attached to the portable information terminal.
[0031]
On the other hand, at the time of punching the cushion material 1, since the punching surface 1a is offset from the inner peripheral surface 2a formed by punching the double-sided adhesive material 2, it is difficult to adhere even if chips are generated. From the above, foreign matter adhesion at the time of punching can be prevented. Further, due to the presence of the offset, the adhesive does not protrude from the side surface of the cushioning material 1, and adhesion of foreign matter can be prevented even if floating foreign matter falls during transportation and storage.
[0032]
As described above, according to the second embodiment, the inner peripheral surface 2a of the double-sided adhesive material 2 is in a position retracted by offset from the punched surface 1a of the cushion material 1 on the inner side surface of the penetrating portion due to punching, and is generated during punching. Prevents the adhering chips from adhering to the side of the adhesive (prevents foreign matter from adhering during punching) and prevents the adhering of floating foreign matter falling off the side of the cushion material (during transportation and storage) Foreign matter can be prevented), and the fallen foreign matter is adsorbed and held on the adhesive surface 4a of the protective member 4, so that it can be prevented from adhering to the cushion material 1. Further, there are no unnecessary disposal members, and the punching device is a conventional product, and it is not necessary to install new equipment.
[0033]
In addition, there are three types of disposal members: (a) Double-sided tape release sheet, (b) Unnecessary portion of cushion material and double-sided tape material, and (c) Holding member. Since (c) can use conventional products, there is no need to prepare and dispose of new members in order to realize this cushion material structure, and it is possible to reduce costs Is obtained.
[0034]
Embodiment 3 FIG.
In order to remove static electricity generated during the punching operation of the punching devices 13 and 24 in the second embodiment, a static eliminating device such as an air electrostatic static eliminator is installed in the vicinity of the punching devices 13 and 24. The manufacturing apparatus of the punching cushion material with an adhesive similar to Embodiment 2 was obtained (detailed illustration omitted). Since the basic operation for manufacturing the target punched cushion material with adhesive is the same as that of the second embodiment, the description thereof is omitted.
[0035]
According to the third embodiment, the same effects as those of the second embodiment can be obtained, and unnecessary items such as chips generated during the punching operation can be effectively removed by the air electrostatic static eliminator. The generation and adhesion of foreign matter at the surface is suppressed, and the quality of the product obtained is improved.
[0036]
Embodiment 4 FIG.
The punching cushion material with adhesive material of the second embodiment is the same as that of the second embodiment except that a suction device using the same suction force as that of a vacuum cleaner or the like is connected to the punches of the punching devices 13 and 24 in the second embodiment. A manufacturing apparatus was obtained (detailed illustration omitted). The basic operation for obtaining the punched cushion material with adhesive, which is the object, is the same as that of the second embodiment, and the description thereof is omitted.
[0037]
According to the fourth embodiment, the same effect as in the second embodiment can be obtained, and the quality of the product obtained can be improved by removing the chips generated during punching by suction to the suction device. Is obtained.
[0038]
In each of the above embodiments, the case where the present invention is applied to a portable information terminal has been described as an example, but it is needless to say that the present invention can also be used in other similar devices. Further, the object to be attached is not limited to the display device. In addition, although the case where the through hole by punching is rectangular has been described, it is natural that it can be made into an arbitrary shape including a curve according to the application, and the frame shape is not necessarily a closed shape of a quadrangle but is sealed. The same effect can be expected when the above can be secured. Furthermore, the type of the adhesive is not particularly limited, and may be an adhesive material. Furthermore, the double-sided adhesive 2 may use a ready-made double-sided tape or the like.
[0040]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the foreign matter dropped on the protective member is attracted and held on the adhesive surface of the protective member, thereby preventing the movement of the foreign matter to the cushion material and transporting / storage. There is an effect that it is possible to provide a holding structure for a punched cushion material with an adhesive that prevents foreign matter from adhering.
[0041]
