従来の技術で述べたもののうち前者の金属化粧板は、曲げ加工時にクラックが発生したり耐候性に劣ると言った問題点があり、また後者の金属化粧板は、意匠性に劣るという問題点がある。

本発明は、上記のような問題点に鑑みてなされたものであり、その目的とするところは、意匠性が高く耐候性が良好な金属化粧板を提供することにある。

上記の問題を解決するために、本発明は、金属基材の上に着色塩ビフィルム、絵柄印刷層、透明もしくは半透明の表面保護層が順次設けられている金属化粧板であって、前記絵柄印刷層がアクリル系樹脂をバインダーとするインキで形成され、前記表面保護層が塩酢ビ樹脂とシリコンアクリル樹脂からなることを特徴としている。

【発明の実施の形態】
図1は本発明に係る金属化粧板の一例を示す断面図であり、同図に示される金属化粧板は、金属基材1の上に接着剤層2を設け、着色された塩ビフィルム3に絵柄印刷層4を形成しさらに表面保護層5を形成しておいたものをその上からラミネートして構成されている。

【発明の実施の形態】
金属基材としては、鉄板、亜鉛メッキ鋼板、銅板、アルミニウム板等の金属板が使用される。

塩ビフィルムは建材用として公知のものを使用する。特に外装用途としては、顔料濃度が重量比で10部以上、紫外線隠蔽率が300nm〜400nmの領域全てで95%以上カットしていること、さらに厚みが200μm以上であることが望ましい。これらの値にないと耐候性の面で変退色、基材からの剥がれが早く訪れる。
