本発明は、スーパーマーケットやホームセンタ等において使用される商品陳列棚に係り、特に、ベース棚を、通常の位置よりベース脚の前方に突出させてなる商品陳列棚に関する。

【従来の技術】
商品の陳列スペースを拡大するために、ベース棚を、支柱の下端部のベース脚より前方に突出させて載置すると、客が過まってベース脚の前端部に足を載せた際などに、ベース棚の後端部が跳ね上がり、商品を落下させたり、思わぬ事故を引き起こしたりする恐れがある。
