本発明は、隅棟役物及びこれを用いた隅棟構造に関するものである。

図4に示すように、屋根100の隅棟部101を施工する場合に用いる隅棟役物として、図示は省略するが、隅棟部101の屋根流れ方向で上下の役物本体に分割され、これらを互いに上下摺動自在な接合状態として、施工時における上下かみ合い長さを調節できるようにしたものが知られている(特開平7−109796号公報参照)。
この従来公知の上下分割式隅棟役物では、下部側の役物本体に対し、その甲面(表面)中央部に釘孔が設けられており、この釘孔へ釘を打ち込むことで隅棟部101への取り付けを行っていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記した従来公知の上下分割式隅棟役物では、下部側の役物本体に打ち込んだ釘の釘頭部がそのまま露出状態となり、隅棟部全体(屋根全体)としての見栄えを低下させていた。
また、この従来公知の上下分割式隅棟役物では、この隅棟役物同士を隅棟部101の屋根流れ方向で葺き重ねていく中で、下位側配置となるものと上位側配置となるものとを、単にそれらの一部ずつを重ねるだけの構造になっていたため、強い吹き上げ風等によってめくれ上がってしまうおそれもあった。

本発明は、上記事情に鑑みてなされたものであって、施工後の見栄えを良好にでき、また強い吹き上げ風等に対しても簡単にめくれ上がってしまうといったこともないようにした隅棟役物及びこれを用いた隅棟構造を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
前記目的を達成するために、本発明は次の手段を講じた。
すなわち、本発明に係る隅棟役物1は、隅棟部101の屋根流れ方向で分割された下部本体3と上部本体4とを有しており、下部本体3と上部本体4とは互いに対応して幅方向中央部で山形状に屈曲されている。
そして、下部本体3に対しその表側へ上部本体4が被せられた状態では、これら上部本体4と下部本体3とが相対的に上下摺動自在に接合可能になっている。
また下部本体3には、上部本体4の裏側に隠れる部分に固定片10が設けられている。この固定片10は、隅棟部下地へ向けて釘やビス等(以下、単に「釘11」と言う)を打ち込むためのものである。また、釘打ち用固定片10は、上部本体4の幅方向中央部の下面に添うように、細帯状に突出されると共に幅方向中央部で山形状に屈曲されている。

このような構成であると、下部本体3の固定片10を釘11で隅棟部101へ打ち付けても、この釘11の釘頭部は、下部本体3の表側に被せられる上部本体4によって隠されることになる。そのため、この釘頭部は見えず、隅棟部全体(屋根全体)としての見栄えを低下させるおそれはない。
なお、下部本体3に対し、その下端部で鋭角な折曲形状で裏側へ折り返された差し掛け部7が設けられたものとし、これに対して上部本体4には、その上端部で表側へ折り返されて下部本体3の差し掛け部7と係合可能となる受け掛け部15が設けられたものとするのが好適である。

このような構成を付加させると、上位側配置となる隅棟役物1(下部本体3の差し掛け部7)を下位側配置となる隅棟役物1(上部本体4の受け掛け部15)に対して係合させることができることになる。
従って、強い吹き上げ風等が発生したとしても、これによってこの隅棟役物1が簡単にめくれ上がってしまうといったことがない。
一方、本発明に係る隅棟構造は、本発明の隅棟役物1においてその上部本体4と下部本体3とが所定長さに調節された状態で下部本体3が固定片10を介して隅棟部101へ固定されたものである。

また、下位側配置となる隅棟役物1における上部本体4の受け掛け部15に対して上位側配置となる隅棟役物1における下部本体3の差し掛け部7が係合されたものとなっている。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態を、図面に基づき説明する。
図1及び図2は、本発明に係る隅棟役物1の一実施形態を示しており、図3はこの隅棟役物1を用いて施工した隅棟部101(図4参照)を示している。
この隅棟役物1は、隅棟部101の屋根流れ方向で分割することによって形成された下部本体3と上部本体4とを有している。
これら下部本体3と上部本体4とは、下部本体3の上端部表側に上部本体4の下端部を被せるようにして接合し、使用する。

これら下部本体3及び上部本体4は、いずれもアルミやステンレス等の耐蝕性金属板や耐食処理(表面処理や塗装、コーティング等)を施した薄鋼板、或いは硬質樹脂板等を素材として、隅棟部101を覆い隠すことのできる帯板状に形成されている。
下部本体3には、屋根面側で葺き上げられる屋根瓦の下端部(図4中の符号102参照)と同レベルで横線の繋ぎを表現するための二組の水返し片5が、恰も舳先状を呈するように互いに所定角度で設けられている。

またこれら水返し片5には、隅棟部101の屋根流れ方向下方へ延びるようにした水切り片6が設けられていると共に、この水切り片6の先端側からその裏側へ折り返された差し掛け部7が設けられている。
なお、図例においてこの差し掛け部7は、理解の便宜上、Uターン状の折り返し形状に描いてあるが、実際には鋭角な折曲形状とするのがよい。
またこの下部本体3には、その上端部から隅棟部101の屋根流れ方向上方へ向けて釘打ち用固定片10が延設されている。

この固定片10は、隅棟部下地(図示略)への固定に用いられる釘11を打ち込むためのものであって、必要に応じて、釘11用の釘孔12を設けておいてもよい(なお、この釘孔12は現場施工時に形成させるものとして当初は未形成としておくことも可能である)。
この固定片10は、下部本体3に対して上部本体4が被せられる際にはこの上部本体4によってその裏側へと隠されることを条件として、その大きさ及び形状が決められている。従って、図示したような細帯状としてもよいし、それ以外にも、下部本体3と同じ幅寸法で形成させるなど、適宜変更が可能である。

上部本体4は、上記したように下部本体3に対してその表側に被せられた状態で使用されるものであり、そのためこの下部本体3と同等以上の幅で形成され、その幅方向両側縁部には裏側へと折り返された下部本体4用の抱き込み片14が形成されている。
すなわち、この抱き込み片14の内側へ下部本体4が抱き込まれるようになり、その長手方向(隅棟部101の屋根流れ方向下方)に沿うようにしてこれら上部本体4と下部本体3とが相対的に上下摺動自在になるものである。

この上部本体4には、その上端部から表側へ折り返された受け掛け部15が設けられている。
なお、図例において、この受け掛け部15についても、理解の便宜上、Uターン状の折り返し形状に描いてあるが、実際には鋭角な折曲形状とするのがよい。
この受け掛け部15は、下部本体3に設けられた差し掛け部7と対を成すもので、図3に示すように隅棟部101を施工するに際しては、上位側配置となる隅棟役物1の下部本体3の差し掛け部7を、下位側配置となる隅棟役物1の上部本体7の受け掛け部15に係合させるようにする。

このような本発明の隅棟役物1を用いて施工した本発明に係る隅棟構造では、下部本体3の固定片10を釘11で隅棟部下地へ打ち付けても、この釘11の釘頭部は、下部本体3の表側に被せられる上部本体によって隠されることになる。そのため、この釘頭部は見えず、隅棟部101全体(屋根全体)としての見栄えを低下させるおそれはない。
また、上位側配置となる隅棟役物1における下部本体3の差し掛け部7と下位側配置となる隅棟役物1における上部本体4の受け掛け部15とが互いに係合しているため、強い吹き上げ風等が発生した場合でも、これら隅棟役物1が簡単にめくれ上がってしまうといったことはない。
