【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、猫等のペットを収容可能なペット用筐体及びペット用爪研部材を備えたペット用筐体並びにペット用爪研部材に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来のペット用筐体としては、図12に示すようなものが知られている(特許文献1参照)。図12(a)は、従来のペット用筐体の展開図、(b)は、従来のペット用筐体の組立工程を示す斜視図、(c)は、従来のペット用筐体の斜視図である。

図12(a)及び(c)に示すように、従来のペット用筐体100は、6面体で構成され、上面部101、側面部102、底面部103、側面部104、閉塞部105及び閉塞部106からなり、これらの6面で形成された内側に収容空間を有する。また、上面部101、側面部102、底面部103、側面部104、閉塞部105及び閉塞部106には、夫々ペットがペット用筐体に出入するための出入口101e、102e、103e、104e、105e及び106eを有している。また、上面部101には、ペット用筐体100を組立てた場合に側面部104と組み合わされて固定される、折込片101aが設けられている。

図12(a)に示すように、側面部104は、ペット用筐体100を組立てた場合に閉塞部106と組み合わされる側に、折込片104aを有し、この折込片104aには係合部104b及び舌片104cが形成されている(側面部104は、ペット用筐体100を組立てた場合に閉塞部105と組み合わされる側も同様の構成でなる)。なお、側面部102も側面部104と同様の構成でなる。

従来のペット用筐体100を組立てる場合には、図12(a)及び(b)に示すように、折込片101aを側面部104の内側に組み合わせて当接させ、折込片106aを上面部101の内側に当接させるようにして舌片101bを係合部106bに係合させる。また、折込片106cを係合部104bに係合させた後、舌片104cを係合部106dに係合させる(これら以外の係合状態については、その説明を省略する)。このようにして、総ての係合部と舌片又は折込片とを係合させると、図12(c)に示すように、6面体で構成される従来のペット用筐体100が完成する。また、展開する場合には、前述した係合部等を解除するようにすればよい。

また、従来のペット用爪研部材を備えたペット用筐体としては、図13に示すようなものが知られている(特許文献2)。図13は、従来のペット用爪研部材を備えたペット用筐体の斜視図である。

図13に示すように、従来のペット用爪研部材を備えたペット用筐体120は、ペットを内部に収納可能な筐体本体121と、平面部122とから構成されている。筐体本体121は、斜面部121a、斜面部121b、底面部121f、三角形状の側面部121d及び三角形状の側面部121eからなる五面体で構成され、斜面部121aには、ペットが出入するためのアーチ状の出入口121cが設けられている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかして、ペット用筐体は、収納の便宜のため展開及び組立てが自在であり、かつ、低廉なものである必要があることから、段ボール等の安価な材質によって構成されることが多く、ペット用筐体へのペットの出入りや、ペット用筐体内部でのペットの動きに耐え得る強固な構造で構成されることが望ましい。しかしながら、従来のペット用筐体100は、係合部と舌片又は折込片とを係合させることのみによって、上面部101、側面部102、底面部103、側面部104、閉塞部105、側面部106を連結して組立てられているため、組立てられたペット用筐体100の強度は低く破損しやすい。このようにペット用筐体が破損しやすいため、破損する毎に新しいペット用筐体を購入する必要が生じることからコストが増大する傾向がある。

また、猫等は、人目につかない狭い場所を好む習性や、爪を研ぐ習性もあるが、従来のペット用爪研部材を備えたペット用筐体120は、ペット用爪研部材123が筐体本体121の外側に設けられているので、前記習性の両方を同時に満たすものではない。また、従来のペット用爪研部材を備えたペット用筐体120は、ペット用爪研部材123が筐体本体121の外側に設けられているので、爪研によって生じる爪研屑が周囲に散逸してしまう。さらに、ペット用爪研部材123が筐体本体121と一体的に設けられているので、ペット用爪研部材123が磨耗し、爪研ぎの効果がなくなった場合に、ペット用爪研部材123のみを取り替えることはできず、筐体本体121を含めたペット用筐体120全体を購入しなければならず、コストがかかる。

そこで本発明は、上記のような課題を解決するためになされたものであって、展開及び組立てが自在かつ低廉であり強固に組立てることが可能なペット用筐体及びペット用爪研部材の取替えが容易なペット用爪研部材を備えたペット用筐体並びにペット用爪研部材を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明によるペット用筐体は、展開及び組立てが自在でペットの収容が可能なペット用筐体であって、側面部が多面でなり、該多面で形成された内側に収容空間を有する多面体でなる筐体本体と、前記筐体本体の多面で構成された収容空間を閉塞する閉塞板とを備え、前記閉塞板が嵌挿される前記筐体本体の周縁部近傍に折返部を設けた。

【発明の実施の形態】
次に本発明によるペット用筐体の実施の形態について、図1及び図2を参照して説明する。図1は、本発明によるペット用筐体が組立てられた状態の斜視図、図2(a)は、本発明によるペット用筐体の筐体本体の展開図、(b)は、正面板の平面図、(c)は、背面板の正面図である。

図1に示すように、ペット用筐体1は、内側に収容空間を有する筐体本体2と、筐体本体2の収容空間を閉塞する正面板30及び背面板31とからなり、筐体本体2は、全体が立方体形状で構成され、上面部8、左側面部9、右側面部7、底面部6とを有する。なお、本実施の形態では、立方体形状で構成されているが、直方体形状や三角柱状でもよく、側面部が多面で形成された内側に収容空間を有する多面体であればよい。

図1に示すように、組立てられたペット用筐体1を展開すると、図2に示すように、一面のシート状で所定の形状に型どられた筐体本体2と、正面板30と、背面板31に分解される。なお、筐体本体2、正面板30、背面板31は、段ボールで成形されているが、それ以外の材料により構成してもよい。以下、展開された筐体本体2、正面板30及び背面板31の構成について説明する。

図2(a)に示すように、筐体本体2は、底面部6、右側面部7、上面部8及び左側面部9を有し、この順で一列に配されており、各境界は、組立てる際に折り曲げがし易いように折り目が形成されている(以下、この他の折り目に関する説明は省略する。)。上面部8の中央には、円形形状でペットの出入が可能な出入口8aが設けられている。なお、この出入口8aは、上面部8以外の他の部位にも設けて、複数の出入口を有してもよい。

図2(a)に示すように、底面部6は、筐体本体2の組立て時に左側面部9と組み合わされる側の1辺に折込片5を有し、この折込片5と底面部6との境界上に第1挿入孔4a及び第2挿入孔4bが離間配置されている。

次に、図3乃至図8を参照して、本発明によるペット用筐体の組立工程について説明し、併せて、ペット用爪研部材をペット用筐体に取り付ける構造及び方法について説明する。図3は、筐体本体の側面を組立てる工程を示す斜視図、図4は、筐体本体の縁辺部及び折返片を組立てる工程を示す斜視図、図5(a)は、ペット用爪研部材の第1の固定状態を示す斜視図、図5(b)は、ペット用爪研部材の第2の固定状態を示す斜視図、図6(a)は、ペット用爪研部材の第1の固定状態とする工程を示す斜視図及びペット用爪研部材の部分拡大図、図6(b)は、ペット用爪研部材の第1の固定状態とした工程を示す斜視図、図7は、ペット用爪研部材の第2の固定状態とする工程を示す斜視図、図8は、筐体本体に正面板を取り付ける工程を示す斜視図である。

図3に示すように、筐体本体2を組立てるには、まず、総ての縁辺部及び折返片を折り曲げない状態において、折込辺5、底面部6、右側面部7、上面部8、左側面部9、第1舌片3a及び第2舌片3bを各境界に設けられた折り目に沿って折り曲げる。その際に、第1舌片3aを第1挿入孔4aに挿入し、第2舌片3bを第2挿入孔4bに挿入して、第1舌片係止用段部3a1及び3a2が第1挿入孔4aに、第2舌片係止用段部3b1及び3b2が第2挿入孔4bに確実に係止されるまで挿入して固定する。

次に、図4に示すように、総ての縁辺部及び折返片を順次折り曲げて、各折返片の両側端に設けられた係合凸部又は係合凹部と、これに隣接する折返片の両側端に設けられた係合凹部又は係合凸部とが係合するように組立てる。具体的には、縁辺部25を左側面部9との境界に設けられた折り目に沿って折り曲げ、更に、折返片24を、縁辺部25との境界に設けられた折り目に沿って折り曲げる際に、既に折り曲げられて隣接する折返片12の係合凹部12aと、折返片24の係合凸部24bとが係合するようにする。同様に他の総ての各係合凸部と係合凹部が係合するように縁辺部及び折返片を折り曲げて組立てる。総ての縁辺部及び折返片についての組立てが完了すると、総ての縁辺部の切欠部が、隣接する他の縁辺部の切欠部と当接し、しかも切欠部の当接は、前記のように相互に係合がされた総ての折返片によって支持されるので、筐体本体のゆがみに対して強い構造となる。

次に、図5乃至図7を参照して、組立てられた筐体本体にペット用爪研部材を取り付ける方法について説明する。

図6(a)に示すように、ペット用爪研部材35は、複数枚貼り合わせて形成された段ボールを、ペット用筐体1に取付け可能な長さと厚さを有する板状体に裁断して形成されるものであり、全体として矩形板状形状でなるものである。図6(a)に示すように、ペット用爪研部材35は、爪研部材裁断面35aと、爪研部材側面35bと、爪研面35cとからなる。また、図6(b)に示すように、ペット用爪研部材35は、筐体本体2の幅L1よりも短く、各縁辺部の幅Wと同じ若しくはやや厚く裁断されている。なお、本実施の形態では、ペット用爪研部材35は、爪研部材側面35bを長く、爪研部材裁断面35aを短く形成しているが、逆の構成としてもよい。

また、図7に示すように、ペット用爪研部材36は、複数枚貼り合わせて形成された段ボールをペット用筐体1に取付け可能な長さと厚さを有する板状体に裁断して形成されるものであり、全体として矩形板状形状でなるものである。図7に示すように、ペット用爪研部材36は、爪研部材裁断面36aと、爪研部材側面36bと、爪研面36cとからなる。また、図7に示すように、筐体本体2の幅L2と同じ若しくはやや長く裁断されている。なお、本実施の形態では、ペット用爪研部材36は、爪研部材側面36bを長く、爪研部材際断面36aを短く形成しているが、逆の構成としてもよい。

図5(a)に示すように、ペット用爪研部材35をペット用筐体1に固定する第1の固定方法は、図6(a)に示すように、ペット用爪研部材35を、爪研面35cが上方向となるようにして、ペット用爪研部材35の長手方向を縁辺部13又は縁辺部15と平行に、筐体本体2の内側の底面部6上に、折返片12と折返片14との間に位置するようにして設置する。その後、図6(b)に示すように、ペット用爪研部材35は、筐体本体2の幅L1よりも短く構成されているので、ペット用爪研部材35を矢印方向に回動させることができ、ペット用爪研部材35を矢印方向に回動させて、筐体本体2の底面部6と折返片12との間に縁辺部13の幅で形成される空間にペット用爪研部材35の一方の端部を挿入し、筐体本体2の底面部6と折返片14との間に縁辺部15の幅で形成される空間にペット用爪研部材35の他方の端部を挿入して、図5(a)に示すように、ペット用爪研部材35を固定する。なお、以上のペット用爪研部材35をペット用筐体1に固定する第1の固定方法は、既に組立てられた筐体本体2に対してペット用爪研部材35を固定する方法であるが、筐体本体2の各縁辺部と折返片を組立てる前に、図5(a)に示す所定の位置にペット用爪研部材35を予め設置してから、筐体本体2の各縁辺部と折返片を組立てることによって、筐体本体2の組立て途中においてペット用爪研部材35をペット用筐体1に固定するようにしてもよい。

図6(b)に示すように、ペット用爪研部材35は、各縁辺部の幅Wと同じ若しくはやや厚く形成されており、しかも、総ての折返部は各係合凸部及び係合凹部によって相互に強固に固定されているので、ペット用爪研部材35を強固に固定することができる。
