本発明は、大型のポスターや横長の横断幕のようなシート状のものを取付けて支持する組立用接続構造を備えた大型表示物のフレームに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、横断幕のように横長の表示物を緊張させて支持するには、例えば所要寸法の梯子状に枠組されたフレームに、目的の横長の表示物(プリントされた布やシート)を取付けて支持するようにされている。このような表示物を支持するフレームとしては、その運搬などを容易にするために、長さ方向に分割されたものを用意して、使用現場で継ぎ足して所定の寸法に組み立てた後、表示物をフレームに付属させた止め具によって緊張状態にして支持されるように構成されている。

このようなことから、前述の表示物を支持するフレームとしては、例えば図5(a)および(b)に示されるようなフレームの連結構造が用いられている。すなわち、フレーム101の継手部としては、接続する断面がリップ付きL型をした同一断面形状のフレーム部材102とフレーム部材103に対して、その内側二面に沿わせて前記両フレーム部材102,103よりも小型のアングル形をした連結部材104をあてがい、フレーム部材102,103の外側から連結部材104の内側に複数本の小ネジ105を貫通させて、それぞれナット106によって締め付けて固定する方式が採用されている。

また、図6に別例の大型表示物の支持フレームにおける接続要部断面図が示されている。この表示物の支持フレーム110は、そのフレーム部材111の断面をリップ付きL型の内側において一辺の端部ともう一辺の中間部とにT字形の溝112,112を長手方向にそれぞれ突出形成されたアルミニウム製の部材とされ、このような断面形状のフレーム部材111を突き合わせて接続するに際し、内側に前記フレーム部材111の各辺よりも小さくて所要長さのアングル形をした連結部材104をあてがって、前記各T字形の溝112に嵌め込まれた偏平なナット116に対して前記連結部材104の外側からボルト孔を通じて小ネジ115を捩じ込んで締結固定する方式が知られている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
前述のような従来の表示物の支持フレームにおける接続方式にあって、前者(図5(a),(b)で示される)では、小ネジとナットとによる締結であるため、フレームの表面に小ネジの頭部が現れて美観を損なうという問題点がある。しかも、フレーム部材の接合部を密着させるとき、その接合部の両方のフレーム部材端を隙間が開かないように押し付けながら固定用の小ネジを締め付けなくてはならず、一人が接合部での隙間を無くすように押し付け、もう一人が小ネジを締め付ける作業を行う必要があり、手数を要するという問題がある。

【課題を解決するための手段および作用・効果】
前述された目的を達成するために、本発明による大型表示物のフレームは、
フレーム部材と、複数のフレーム部材を直線部で突き合わせ接続するのに用いる連結部材とを備え、前記フレーム部材を方形に枠組して形成される大型表示物のフレームにおいて、
前記フレーム部材は一辺の先端縁内側と他辺の中間部内側とにコーナー部に向いた鉤形リップが全長に亙り設けられて、それら鉤形リップの内側に掛け止め溝が形成されており、前記連結部材は、所要長さでアングル形に屈曲形成された一辺と他辺とよりなる主体部を有し、この主体部の他辺の端部全長に亙り外向き鉤状に屈曲形成されて係止縁とされるとともに、その辺の中間部に所要の間隔で複数のねじ孔が設けてあり、前記一辺の端部を前記フレーム部材の端部掛け止め溝に係合させるとともに、他辺の係止縁を前記フレーム部材の中間部掛け止め溝に係合させるように嵌め合わせ、前記各ねじ孔にボルトを螺合させて当該連結部材を引き寄せると、前記一辺の端部および他辺の端部が前記フレーム部材の掛け止め溝に係止されて前記フレーム部材と前記連結部材とが連結固定されるように構成されていることを特徴とするものである。

その上、連結部材とフレーム部材との接続に際しては、ボルトによる締結力を局部的な接触ではなく小さな面積ではあるが連結部材の全長を有効に利用して固定できるので、少ない数のボルトでもって有効かつ確実に固定することができ、取付あるいは取り外しの操作が簡単に行える利点を有する。しかも、フレーム部材の表面には締結具が一切表れないようにできるので、美観を損なうことがないという効果を奏する。また、連結部材のフレーム部材接続部に対する組み込みは、水平方向と垂直方向の一方に嵌め合わせる掛け止め溝の隙間に余裕をとっておくだけでよいので、少ない面積でスムーズな差込作業が可能になり、フレームを小型化できる利点がある。

【発明の実施の形態】
次に、本発明による大型表示物のフレームの具体的な実施の形態につき、図面を参照しつつ説明する。

図1に示されるのは、本実施例に係る大型表示物のフレームを一部省略して表わす全体図である。図2は、フレームの部材接続部の構造を接合前の状態で示す斜視図である。図3は、図2における締結要部の拡大縦断面図である。

これらの図によって示されるのは、横断幕を表示するのに用いられるフレームの一具体例である。フレーム1は高さ寸法に比べて長さ寸法が非常に長い形状のもので、例えばアルミニウムの押し出し成形で形成されたフレーム部材2を長方形に繋いで枠組形成されたものである。なお、中間部において複数箇所にて上下の長寸部材間を別途補強部材によって繋がれて保形されている。このようなフレーム1に対して、表示させる横断幕は図示されていない公知の係止金具によってフレーム1の内側要所にて緊張支持されるようになっている。

前記フレーム部材2の接続に用いられる連結部材10は、例えば鋼板をプレス成形して所要寸法形状に形成されて、接続時フレーム部材2に対する差込幅の少なくとも8〜10倍程度の長さ寸法(ただし、この数値に限定されない。)にされている。この連結部材10は、図2および図3によって示されるように、前記フレーム部材2の掛け止め溝4,6に差し込み得る厚みで、全長に亙り主体部11をアングル形に屈曲形成され、その一辺12(フレーム部材2の周面となる辺2bに対応する辺)に対して直角に屈曲する辺13の先端側を前記辺12と反対の方向に屈曲させるとともに、さらに先端部を主体部11の辺13に平行するようにその延長方向に折り曲げて係止縁14とされている。また、この連結部材10の主体部11における辺13には、組み合わせ時前記フレーム部材2の内側に設けられたT字形の補強リブ7に対向する線上で適宜間隔にて締結ボルト18を螺合させるねじ孔16が設けられている。このねじ孔16を設けるには、例えば、連結部材10の一部を内向き(図において上側)にプレスして折り返し部のある孔を形成し、この孔の内面にねじを形成する。あるいは、別途パイプを溶接してその内部にねじ孔を形成するか、ナットを溶接するなどの手段により形成するのがよい。
