【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、包装袋、特に経管経腸栄養剤や経管経腸流動食等を収容する包装袋に関する。

【従来の技術】
経管経腸栄養剤(以下栄養剤と略することもある)や経管経腸流動食(以下流動食と略することもある)は、缶、紙容器、パウチ、瓶等種々の包装容器に収容されて使用されるが、中でもパウチタイプは密封性や取り扱い性に優れ、多く使用されている。パウチタイプとしては、一般に注出口を有し、該注出口にチューブを接続して投与を行うが、特に栄養剤や流動食の場合は、初期導入時に患者の病態に合わせて希釈して使用し、安定時には、不足する薬剤や水分を補給するのが一般的である。注出口のみを有する場合は、このような操作ができないか、限定的であり、投与を中断して注出口を補給口として兼用するか、パウチの一部を切り取る等して開封し、そこから補給を行う必要があった。これは、作業が繁雑であり、注出口や開封部が汚染されたり、必要以上に開封する等衛生管理上の問題もあった。

上記問題を解決するため、着脱自在なキャップ等から構成される注入口を有するものもあるが、使用時までの密封性を保つため、注入口の密封をフィルム等からなるインナーシールによって行っている。該インナーシールは、イージーピール仕様となっており、ヒートシール強度が1N以下の強度であるため、収容物を充填後、レトルト処理等の高温高圧殺菌処理を施す際、レトルト処理の殺菌時の内圧強度が基準に達しないという問題があった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明は、水や薬剤の投与等使用前及び使用中に外部より水分等の補給が可能であって、取り扱い性や衛生管理性に優れ、製造が容易であり、レトルト処理等の高温処理を施す場合の耐久性に優れる包装袋の提供を目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、複数のフィルム片の周辺部をシールしてなり、上側の両端部に注入口部材および注出口部材をそれぞれ装着し、底面部にガゼット部を有する包装袋であって、前記注入口部材が、天面部、および天面部周縁から垂下し、内面にメネジを備える外周部からなるキャップと、外面にオネジを備え、注入口を構成する注入口部とからなり、キャップ内面には、注入口部における先端部の内周面側および外周面側に密着あるいは嵌合する環状突起部を有し、前記フィルム片の下部の両端に包装袋を吊り下げ可能な吊り下げ手段が2個設けられ、かつ、該2個の吊下げ手段はそれぞれ注入口部材と対向する位置及び注出口部材と対向する位置に設けられ、該注入口部材と対向する位置に設けられた吊下げ手段を用いた場合には該注入口部材を注出口として使用可能なことを特徴とする包装袋である。

天面部、および天面部周縁から垂下し、内面にメネジを備える外周部からなるキャップと、外面にオネジを備え、注入口を構成する注入口部とからなり、キャップ内面には、注入口部における先端部の内周面側および外周面側に密着あるいは嵌合する環状突起部を有する注入口部材を用いることにより、インナーシールを必要とせず、注入口の密封がキャップのみによって可能であって、取り扱い性や突起部の開封までの衛生管理性に優れ、製造が容易であり、レトルト処理等の高温処理を施す場合の耐久性に優れて完全殺菌が可能であって、レトルト処理の殺菌時の内圧強度を基準に適合させることができる。また、密閉性が高いため、注入口の内径を大きくすることも可能になる。しかも低コストで、容易に製造することができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下に図面を用いて、本発明をさらに詳細に説明する。
図1〜図7に本発明の実施形態の一例である包装袋を示す。図1は、包装袋の正面図、図2は、図1の包装袋のA−A断面図、図3は、図1の包装袋において、注入口部材および注出口部材を開封した状態を示す図,図4は、図1の包装袋における注入口部材のキャップの構成の例を示す側部断面図,図5は、図1の包装袋における注入口部材の注入口部の構成の例を示す側面図,図6は、図4のキャップと図5の注入口部を螺合した状態を示す側面図,図7は、図4のキャップと図5の注入口部を螺合した状態での密封状態を示す要部断面図である。図1の包装袋において、包装袋1の本体部2は、3枚のフィルム片の周辺部をシールしてシール部7(図中、斜線で示される)として形成されている。図2に示すように、本体部の主要部分はフィルム片2a,2bを対向させて構成され、底面部9のみフィルム片2cをフィルム片2a,2b間に介在するよう配置してガゼット部としてマチ状に形成されている。ガゼット部を設けることにより、包装袋の自立性が向上し、また収容量も増大する。尚、本発明の包装袋を、経管経腸栄養剤や経管経腸流動食の収容用とする場合、運搬時や湯煎時の作業性の点で、ガゼット部を設けることが好ましい。収容物の充填は、包装袋の上端部8の一部のみを未シール部として他の部分を形成した後、未シール部より収容物を充填し、未シール部をシールして行う。なお、ガゼット部を形成するフィルム片2cの側部には切り欠き部10,10が、包装袋下部の形態安定化のために設けられている。

包装袋1の本体部2は、平面形状が一部内側へ切り欠いた形状となっており、その切り欠いた部分の1辺3に注入口部材4が設けられている。注入口部材4は、開封された状態で注入口11を形成し、該注入口より、水や薬剤等を包装袋内部へ補給するためのものである。注入口部材4は、図4に示すような天面部40、および天面部40周縁から垂下し、内面にメネジ42を備える外周部41からなるキャップ4aと、図5に示すような外面にオネジ60を備え、注入口11を構成する注入口部4bとからなり、さらに包装袋本体に取り付けるための両端部が薄い舟形形状である取り付け部4cを備える。注入口部4bと取り付け部4cは一体に成形されており、取り付け部4cは包装袋本体の周辺部のフィルム片(図2中、2a,2b)間に熱接着等により取り付けられる。キャップ4aは、注入口の保護、衛生管理及び開封前の密封状態現出のために設けられ、キャップ4aと注入口部4bはメネジ42とオネジ60の螺合により閉栓される。

キャップ4a内面には、環状突起部43を備える。この環状突起部は、閉栓時に、図7に示すように、注入口部4bの注入口11における先端部の内周面側、頂部、および外周面側に密着して、密閉状態を現出する。

注入口部に備えられたオネジ60は、複数のネジ山を螺旋状に成形してなり、ネジ山頂部の注入口部外周方向の長さは、注入口部外周の1/3〜1/4の長さに設定される。オネジ60のネジ山頂部の長さを上記のように設定することにより、オネジ60をメネジ42と螺合する際、キャップ4aを注入口部4bに対して、50°〜90°回転させることにより、閉栓可能となる。

キャップ4aには、開封明示機構として、キャップの外周部41下端に、破断可能な接続部によって接続された周状バンド47を備える。周状バンド47は、内側に突出した舌片を有し、開栓前の密封時には、舌片が後述の注入口部4bに形成されたフランジ部61の顎部に係止されているが、キャップの開栓により、接続部が破断して周状バンド47が分離し、周状バンド47のみを注入口部4bに残してキャップ4aが除去可能になる。周状バンド47が分離することにより、開栓されたことが明示される。なお、収容物の充填後、キャップによる閉栓を行う際に、破断部の破断を防ぐため、ストッパー49が設けられている。さらに、キャップ4aの外面には、開栓時の滑り止めとして、複数のリブ50が形成されている。

注入口部4bの外面には、オネジ60の他にフランジ部61および収容物のたれ防止のためのベント62が設けられ、開栓時にはフランジ部61とベント62の間に分離された周状バンド47が残る。

使用時に水、希釈剤、薬剤等の注入が必要である場合は、注入口部材4のキャップ4aを開栓して、開封すると、注入口11が形成され、該注入口11より包装袋内部へ注入を行う。同時に、キャップの開栓により、接続部が破断して周状バンドが分離し、周状バンドのみを注入口部に残してキャップが除去可能になって、開封されたことが明示される。

包装袋1には、注入口部材4と対抗する位置に注出口部材5が装着されている。注出口部材5は、開封された状態で注出口となり、該注出口にチューブ等を接続して収容物を外部へ注出するためのものである。注出口部材5は、図3に示すように、包装袋本体に取り付けるための両端部が薄い舟形形状である取り付け部5cと、注出口となる中空の管5bとを一体に成形した部材と、それに嵌合するキャップ5aとから構成され、取り付け部5cが包装袋本体に熱接着等により取り付けられる。キャップ5aは、キャップ部保護および衛生管理上の点から取り付けられている。インジェクション成形により形成された管5bの先端部は、キャップ5a内部に嵌合されており、注出のための開封は、キャップ5aを回転させ、キャップ5aに嵌合している管5bの先端部がキャップ5aと一体に回転して取り外されることにより行われる。

包装袋1には、さらに注入口部材4の近傍のフィルム片の周辺部におけるシール部に、包装袋を吊り下げ可能な吊り下げ手段として、フィルム片を貫通する貫通孔6を有する。貫通孔6に治具を引っかける等して包装袋1を懸下することによって、注出口部材5が下方に配置され、注出口部材5からの収容物の注出と、上方に配置された注入口部材4の開封により形成された注入口11からの補給が容易になる。

本発明において、注入口部材の構成材料は収容物に影響を及ぼさず、所望の密封性を現出可能であれば特に限定されず、例えばポリエチレン系樹脂、ポリプロピレン系樹脂等の中密度又は高密度のオレフィン系樹脂、ポリエステル系樹脂、ポリアミド系樹脂等を使用できる。また、後述のように、キャップ内面に突起部を含めてライナーを有する等複数の異なる部材から構成されていても良い。ライナーを構成する材料としては、本発明の作用を阻害しない範囲で適度なクッション性と柔軟性を有すればよく、低密度、中高密度、中密度、高密度のポリエチレン系樹脂やポリプロピレン系樹脂、熱可塑性エラストマー等を使用しても良い。これらの材料をインジェクション成形法、射出成形法等により成形する。また、ライナーのキャップ内面への形成は、キャップ外側のキャップシェルと別個に成形して取り付ける方法、キャップシェルにライナー構成材料を供給して成形する方法、キャップシェルとライナーを同時に成形する方法のいずれであっても良く、必要に応じて接着剤等を使用しても良い。

本発明において、注入口部材の形状は、天面部、および天面部周縁から垂下し、内面にメネジを備える外周部からなるキャップと、外面にオネジを備え、注入口を構成する注入口部とからなり、キャップ内面には、注入口部における先端部の内周面側および外周面側に密着あるいは嵌合する環状突起部を有して、所望の密封性を現出可能であれば特に限定されない。環状突起部のサイズ(高さ、幅)や形状、設置数や設置位置等も限定されないが、上記実施形態の外側環状突起部、頂部環状突起部、内側環状突起部のように、複数の環状突起部により、シールを行うようにするのが好ましい。

また、注入口部材における注入口部は、その下部に包装袋本体への取り付けのための取り付け部を有するのが好ましい。取り付け部の包装袋本体への取り付け方法は、包装袋本体におけるフィルム片の周辺部のシール方法等に合わせて行えば良く、例えば、フィルム片がシーラント層を有して熱接着によりシールを行う場合、突起部を構成するフィルム片間の所定位置に取り付け部を配置し、共に加熱加圧することにより熱接着してシールすること等により、注入口部が包装袋本体へ取り付けられる。

本発明において、注入口部材は、衛生管理上の点から開封され密封状態が解除されたことを明示する開封明示機構を備えることが好ましい。開封明示機構としては、例えば、上記実施形態のようなキャップの外周部下端に、破断可能な接続部によって接続された周状バンドを備える構成が挙げられる。この構成においては、密封時には、周状バンドが注入口部に形成されたフランジ部等に係止されているが、キャップの開栓により、接続部が破断して周状バンドが分離し、周状バンドのみを注入口部に残してキャップが除去可能になる。

本発明において、注入口部材の各部のサイズは、包装袋に収容する収容物の種類や使用形態に合わせて適宜設定すればよいが、注入口部材における注入口の内径は、12mm〜25mmであるのが好ましい。本発明の包装袋は、インナーシールによる密閉ではないため、開封までの密閉性を保ちながら、注入口の内径を大きくでき、特に、注入口の内径を上記範囲とすることにより、外部から包装袋内に薬缶等を用いて補給を行う場合でも注入しやすくすることができる。

本発明において、包装袋本体部の注入口部材を取り付ける部分は、注入口を開封した際に、外部からの補給のための流路を作り、包装体内部の収容物へ外部より補給が容易となるよう、押し型等を用いてフィルム片が外側へ膨らんだ形状に形成しても良い。

本発明において、包装袋本体を構成する複数のフィルム片の構成材料は特に限定されず、従来パウチに使用されている材料を使用できる。このような材料としては、例えば、二軸延伸ポリオレフィン系樹脂フィルム、二軸延伸ポリアミド系樹脂フィルム、二軸延伸ポリエステル系樹脂フィルム、エチレン−ビニルアルコール共重合体フィルム等の各種フィルムを基材とし、これらの基材に、低密度ポリエチレン、直鎖状低密度ポリエチレン、エチレン−酢酸ビニル共重合体、ポリプロピレン等のオレフィン系の熱接着樹脂をシーラント層として積層した複合フィルム等が挙げられる。また、内容物の保護性を高めるため等の点から、上記複合フィルムに、さらに単層フィルムや複合フィルムを複数積層したフィルムや、シリカ、酸化アルミニウム等を積層したフィルムも使用できる。特に、二軸延伸ポリエチレンテレフタレートや二軸延伸ポリアミドの積層フィルムに酸化アルミニウム層を積層したフィルムを基材として用いると、バリアー性や保香性に優れ、充填後のピンホール試験機又は金属探知機の使用やマイクロ波による加熱も可能になる。充填後の厚みは一般的な30〜150μmのものを使用でき、全体のサイズも収容量に応じて適宜設定できる。包装袋本体の形成は、フィルム片の構成に応じてシーラント層の熱接着等により周辺部をシールして行う。

本発明の包装袋の本体部形状は、複数のフィルム片の周辺部をシールしてなるのであれば特に限定されず、上記実施形態のように2枚のフィルム片の周辺部をシールし、底面部にガゼット部を設け、マチ状にした形状の他、2枚のフィルム片の周辺部をシールしたのみの形状や、一方あるいは両方の側面部、あるいは天面部にもガゼット部を設け、収容量の増大等を計っても良い。

本発明の包装袋は、経管経腸栄養剤や経管経腸流動食の収容用とする場合、吊り下げて使用するため、包装袋に吊り下げ可能な吊り下げ手段を有するのが好ましい。吊り下げ手段としては、上記実施形態のように、シール部に貫通孔を形成しても良いし、別個に形成されたフック等の吊り下げ具を取り付ける形態であっても良い。これらの吊り下げ手段は、複数設けられていても良く、その配置も限定されないが、使用時の状態から、注入口部材の近傍に、吊り下げ手段を有し、一方、注出口部材を注入口部材と対抗する位置に設けるのが好ましい。このような配置とすることによって、注出口部材からの収容物の注出と、注入口部材の開封により形成された注入口からの補給が容易になる。

本発明の包装袋において、注出口部材の形状や構成材料は特に限定されず、一般に使用されているものを使用でき、包装袋本体に取り付ける取り付け部と注出口となる中空の管とを一体に成形したものが好ましい。取り付け部は、包装袋本体に熱接着等により取り付けられるが、両端部が薄い舟形形状であるのが好ましい。また、注出口は端部を熱で封口する、蓋、キャップを嵌合あるいは螺合する、シール材によりシールする等して密封する。

本発明の包装袋は、次のように使用される。包装袋の上端部の一部のみを未シール部として他の部分を融着等により形成した後、未シール部より収容物を充填し、未融着部をシールする。この後、必要に応じて、レトルト殺菌処理や高温瞬間殺菌処理等を行う。これらの処理を行う必要がある場合は、それに応じて包装袋を構成するフィルム片、注入口部材、注出口部材の材質を予め選択する。収容物の注出時は、上記実施形態1のように、吊り下げ手段により懸下し、注出口を開封してチューブ等を接続し、収容物を抽出する。一方、水、希釈剤、薬剤等は、注入口部材のキャップを取り外して開封し、形成された注入口より包装袋内部へ注入される。

本発明の包装袋は、収容物の注出の他に外部から液体等を注入する可能性がある場合に使用するが、投与中に薬剤や水分を補給する経管経腸流動食用や経管経腸栄養剤用として特に好適である。

[別実施形態]
本発明の包装袋は、例えば図8及び図9に示すように形成してもよい。図8及び図9は、本発明の包装袋の別実施形態の一例を示す。図8は、包装袋の正面図、図9は、図8の包装袋のA−A断面図である。図8に示すように、注入口部材4と注出口部材5を共に包装袋1’の上部に装着し、吊り下げ手段として、包装袋1’の下部のシール幅を大きくした1片の両端に貫通孔6a及び6bを形成してもよい。2個の吊り下げ手段6a及び6bを、それぞれ注入口部材4と対抗する位置及び注出口部材5と対抗する位置に装着することにより、ガゼット部を下方に設置し、注入口部材4のキャップ4aを開栓して、注入口11を形成し、該注入口11より包装袋内部へ補給を行った後、再びキャップ4aを閉じて封をし、貫通孔6aに治具を引っかけて包装袋1’を懸下し、注出口部材5を開封して収容物を注出する。収容物注出後、注入口11より包装袋内部へさらに補給を行った後、貫通孔6bに治具を引っかけて包装袋1’を懸下し、接続部材を注入口部4bと螺合することによって、注入口部材4より、追加補給した収容物を注出してもよい。すなわち、吊り下げ手段6a及び6bのいずれに治具を引っかける等して包装袋1’を懸下しても、それに対抗する注入口部材4及び注出口部材5のいずれかより、収容物を注出することが可能となる。

【実施例】
厚さ12μmポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルムと、厚さ15μmのポリアミドフィルムと、耐熱性を有する酸化アルミニウム(Al)の薄膜と、ポリプロピレンフィルムとを接着層を介して順次積層した積層フィルムを図1の包装袋におけるフィルム片2a,2bに、シリカ蒸着ポリエステルフィルムと、厚さ15μmのポリアミドフィルムと、ポリプロピレンフィルムとを接着層を介して順次積層した積層フィルムを図1の包装袋におけるガゼット部を構成するフィルム片2cに用いて、ポリプロピレンフィルム側をシーラント層として周辺部を熱融着し、図1と同様の構成の包装袋1を製造した。その際、周辺部の1辺に、高密度ポリエチレンからなる、図4〜7に示す構成の注入口部材4(注入口部内径20.7mm)を取り付け部4cをフィルム片に挟むようにして熱接着し、また、ポリプロピレン系樹脂からなる注出口部材5を取り付け部5cをフィルム片に挟むようにして熱接着した。さらに、吊り下げ手段として、シール幅を大きくした1片に貫通孔6を打ち抜きにより形成した。包装袋のサイズは、概ね幅180mm(収容部分の幅は約120mm)、高さ220mm、ガゼット部の最大高さ40mmで、シール幅は5mm、貫通孔形成部分のシール幅は35mmとした。貫通孔は長径24mm、短径18mmの楕円形とした。包装袋の上部は未シール部とし、収容物を充填後、熱融着により融着して、密封した。貫通孔6に治具を引っかけて包装袋1を懸下し、注出口部材5を開封して収容物を注出する一方、注入口部材4のキャップ4aを開栓して、注入口11を形成し、該注入口11より包装袋内部へ補給を行った。

【発明の効果】
本発明の包装袋は、注入口を有することにより、薬剤の投与等使用中に外部より水分等の補給が可能であって、しかも注入口が特定構造を有するため、取り扱い性や衛生管理性に優れ、製造が容易であり、レトルト処理等の高温処理を施す場合の耐久性に優れる耐久性に優れて完全殺菌が可能であって、レトルト処理の殺菌時の内圧強度を基準に適合させることができる。さらに製造が容易であり、コスト的に有利である。
