図示の実施例におけるガードアーム装置は回転窓に適用されたもので、先ずその構造を簡単に説明する。

このガードアーム装置は、図1及び図2に示すように、窓ガラス1を有する回転窓の障子2の自由側端縁部と障子枠3との間に装着され、障子2側に設けられた収納ケース4と、障子枠3側に設けられたストライク5とを有している。

回転型の障子2の自由側端縁又は障子枠にフランジ部においてねじ6等で取り付けられる箱状をなす細長い中空の収納ケース4は、フロント板7に開口8を有し、ガードアーム装置の非作動時にはその開口8を通じガードアーム9が収納される。
