このように、乗用形の玉ねぎ収穫機なるものは既に公開されて知られているところであるが、本発明はこの乗用形のものの機体のバランスをよくしてオペレ−タが安全な収穫作業ができるように改善するのを主目的として発明に至ったものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
そこで、この発明は、エンジン用の燃料タンクをラジエ−タと反対がわのエンジンの他側方に設け、その燃料タンク上に注油用のバルブユニットを載設してある玉ねぎ収穫機において、エンジンを挟んで前がわに走行装置のミッションケ−スを、後方がわに掘取装置と持上搬送装置等に動力を伝達するPTO軸をそれぞれ設け、エンジンの出力軸からミッションケ−スの入力軸とPTO軸に動力を供給する駆動手段を燃料タンクとエンジンの間に設ける手段を講じた。

【実施例】
以下、この発明による玉ねぎ収穫機について実施例図を参照し説明すると、この収穫機は乗用形であって、先ず、図3〜図5によりその概要を記載することにする。

(1)はクロ−ラ式の走行装置を示し、この走行装置(1)は機体の水平を検出する水平センサ−を備え、その水平センサ−の検出により油圧シリンダによって左右がわの各クロ−ラ(15)を上下動して機体を水平状態に修正する水平制御手段を具備している。

上記の走行装置(1)を備えた機体前部がわの走行機台(16)部分にエンジン(E)を搭載し、操縦部(A)はエンジン(E)の右側方である一側方において走行機台(16)を延出した延設部(16a)上に設けて機体から突設させ、エンジン(E)の前方から上方にかけては機体幅と略々同幅の掘取装置(2)と、この掘取装置(2)で掘取ったものを持上げる持上搬送装置(3)が設けられ、掘取装置(2)と持上搬送装置(3)の間には掻上装置(17)が介装され、また、持上搬送装置(3)により持上げたものを受継いで後方に搬送する間に選別する選別搬送装置(18)を備えている。
