【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、一般家庭等の台所で発生する生ゴミ等を乾燥させて減量処理する生ゴミ乾燥処理機を台所にビルトイン等させて使用する生ゴミ処理機に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来のビルトイン生ゴミ乾燥処理機について図8により説明する。生ゴミ処理機本体40内に配置させた生ゴミ処理容器41内の生ゴミ42を加熱する加熱ヒータ43と、送風ファン44とよりなる加熱手段45と、生ゴミ42の撹拌手段46、生ゴミ処理容器41を着脱する為に、開閉自在の蓋47及びパッキン48が設けられている。49は生ゴミ42の乾燥減量時に発生する蒸気や臭気成分等の排気を本体40外に排出するための排出ファン50等よりなる排出手段で、生ゴミ処理容器41の上方にその排気の出口51、排出経路52及び排気中の臭気成分を除去できる触媒脱臭装置53を介して本体40外部に排出するようになっている。また、54は生ゴミ処理容器41内へ外気を導入する吸気口である。また、触媒脱臭装置53には、通過する排気の臭気を酸化反応により脱臭する為の白金等の物質を担持させたプレート55とプレート55を加熱する触媒用加熱手段56が配備されている。この生ゴミ処理機本体40は収納部57内にスライドレール58等により引き出せる構成となっている。

また、59は生ゴミ処理機本体40の前面に位置し、収納時に外観部および表示部60、操作部61となる前面パネルで、その一部に給気口62が設けられている。また、収納部57には給排気手段63が設けられ、収納部57から屋外に通じる排気通路64が設けられている。

上記構成において、生ゴミ処理容器41の生ゴミ42は、加熱ヒータ43と送風ファン44により加熱され、同時に撹拌手段46により撹拌・粉砕されながら乾燥される。生ゴミ42の乾燥課程において発生する蒸気や臭気成分は、排出ファン50により吸引され、排出経路52を通り、触媒脱臭装置53内で、触媒加熱手段56で加熱されたプレート55の面と間で触媒反応により臭気成分が脱臭され本体40外に排出される。このとき、同時に生ゴミ処理容器41内が減圧されるため、外部より吸気口54を通って外気が導入される様になっている。本体40外に排出された排気は、収納部57に給排気手段63が設けられ、その臭気を屋外に排出している。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
このような従来のビルトイン生ゴミ乾燥処理機において処理中においては、加熱乾燥により生ゴミ中の水分と、臭気成分は気化し、脱臭触媒等により浄化して外部に排出するため臭気はほとんど感じられず、収納部に設けられた給排気手段で排気することで十分である。

しかし、生ゴミ乾燥処理機を引き出し、新たに生ゴミを投入しようとしたり、乾燥ゴミを廃棄しようとする時、生ゴミ乾燥処理機の蓋を開けると、いままで生ゴミ処理容器の中に拡散して濃縮された乾燥ゴミの臭気が一気に拡散し、室内に臭気が広まってしまうことになる。これは、収納部に設けられた給排気手段では、生ゴミ乾燥処理機本体が引き出されているため、ほとんど効果がない。

そこで、本発明は、このような従来の課題を解決し、生ゴミ乾燥処理機を収納部から引き出して蓋を開けても室内に臭気が拡散しない生ゴミ乾燥処理機を提供することを目的としている。

【課題を解決するための手段】
前述した従来の課題を解決するために本発明の生ゴミ乾燥処理機は、生ゴミ処理容器内の生ゴミを加熱する加熱手段と生ゴミ処理容器の排気中の臭気成分を脱臭する脱臭手段を有する本体部と、前記本体部を引き出し・収納自在な収納部と、前記本体部後方の前記収納部内で本体部と連通するよう本体部と挿脱自在に設けられるとともに前記生ゴミ処理容器の給排気を行う給排気手段と、前記収納部からの本体部の引き出しを検知する引き出し検知手段とを備え、前記引き出し検知手段により収納部から本体部の引き出しを検知したときに、前記給排気手段を運転する構成とし、使用者が本体部を引き出そうと動かしたときに、給排気手段が運転され、使用者が本体部の蓋を開ける前に、乾燥ゴミの収納された処理容器内に溜まった高濃度の臭気成分を吸引し、脱臭して外に排気するため、使用者が本体部を引き出して蓋を開けた時は、処理容器内の乾燥ゴミの臭気はすでに薄まり、さらに、給排気手段による吸引も継続しているため、室内への拡散もほとんどなくなるものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
請求項1に記載の発明は、生ゴミ処理容器内の生ゴミを加熱する加熱手段と生ゴミ処理容器の排気中の臭気成分を脱臭する脱臭手段を有する本体部と、前記本体部を引き出し・収納自在な収納部と、前記本体部後方の前記収納部内で本体部と連通するよう本体部と挿脱自在に設けられるとともに前記生ゴミ処理容器の給排気を行う給排気手段と、前記給排気手段からの排気を排出する前記収納部前方に設けた排気口と、前記収納部へ人が近づいたことを検知する人体検知手段とを備え、前記脱臭手段を並列に2つ設け、一方は酸化触媒による第1の脱臭手段、他方を物理吸着方式による第2の脱臭手段とし、本体部の運転中は、前記第1の脱臭手段を通過させ、本体部の運転停止中は前記第2の脱臭手段を通過させる切換手段を設け、本体部の運転停止中において、前記人体検知手段により収納部に近づく人を検知したときに前記給排気手段を運転させ、第2の脱臭手段側に排気を通過さ せるように構成した。

これにより、本体部を引き出そうと人が近づいた時点で給排気手段が運転されることにより、より早く処理容器内の乾燥ゴミの臭気を脱臭して排出する事ができ、使用者が本体部の蓋を開けた際の室内への臭気の拡散もほとんどなくする事ができるものである。また、人が近づくたびに排気するため、処理容器内の乾燥ゴミ臭気も徐々に減少させることもできる。そして、停止中は運転中と違って臭気濃度も低く、低温の排気であるため物理吸着で脱臭可能であり、脱臭するのにエネルギを与える必要が無く、無駄なエネルギを使用せずに、蓋を開けた時の臭気の拡散を防止できるものである。

(実施例1)
図1において、生ゴミ乾燥処理機の収納部1にビルトインされた生ゴミ乾燥処理機の本体部2の内部には生ゴミ処理容器3内の生ゴミ4を加熱する加熱ヒータ5と、送風ファン6とよりなる加熱手段7と、生ゴミ4の撹拌手段8、生ゴミ処理容器3を着脱する為に、開閉自在のフタ9及びパッキン10が設けられている。11は生ゴミ4の乾燥時に発生する蒸気や臭気成分等の排気を本体2外に排出するための給排気手段で、本体部2の後方で且つ収納部1内で本体部2と連通するよう本体部2と挿脱自在に設けられており、生ゴミ処理容器3上方の排出経路12及び排気中の臭気成分を除去できる脱臭手段である脱臭装置13を介して外部に排出するようになっており、同時に生ゴミ処理容器3の上方に設けた給気口14から外気を取り入れる様になっている。15は制御手段でビルトイン生ゴミ乾燥処理機の運転を制御している。

さらに、本体部2の側面にはスライドレール16が設けられ、本体部2は収納部1から引き出し自在となっている。また、17は本体部2の前面に位置し、収納時に外観部および表示部18、操作部19となる前面パネル部で、その一部に収納部1の給排気口20、21が設けられている。また、前面パネル17には、本体部2を出し入れするための把手部22とがある。収納部1には引き出し検知手段である検知スイッチ23が設けられ、本体部2が収納部1に収まった時点で、検知スイッチ23が入るようになっている。また、収納部1に設けられた排気経路24により排気口21より外気に排出する。

上記構成において、収納部1より本体部2を引き出し、蓋9を開け、生ゴミ処理容器3内に生ゴミ4を入れ、再び収納部1に収納する。その後、操作部19より、乾燥開始の操作を行うと、生ゴミ処理容器3内生ゴミ4は、加熱ヒータ5と送風ファン6により加熱され、同時に撹拌手段8により撹拌、粉砕されながら乾燥される。生ゴミ4の乾燥工程において発生する蒸気や臭気成分は、給排気手段11により吸引され、排出経路12を通り、脱臭装置13内で、脱臭され外に排出される。このとき、同時に生ゴミ処理容器3内が減圧されるため、本体部2の外部より給気口14を通って外気が導入される様になっている。

また、乾燥処理が終了すると、生ゴミ乾燥処理機の運転は自動的に停止する。しかし、このとき乾燥終了した乾燥ゴミをすぐに捨てるのではなく、生ゴミ処理容器3に入れたままにしておくことが多い。そして、数回、新たに生ゴミを追加して乾燥処理させて使用することが一般的である。

乾燥中は脱臭装置13により脱臭され臭気が低減されるが、乾燥終了時点や停止中に本体部2を引き出して、蓋9を開けると乾燥ゴミの臭気が室内に拡散することになる。そのため、本体部2を収納部1より引き出すと検知スイッチ23が働き、給排気手段11が運転され、生ゴミ処理容器3内の臭気を吸引し、脱臭装置13により脱臭され排気口21より出ていく。

そのため、本体部2を引き出してから、蓋9を開ける間に、生ゴミ処理容器3内の臭気が低減され、臭気の拡散もほとんどなくなる。また、給排気手段11の運転により、蓋9を開放後も、臭気が吸引されるため、生ゴミ乾燥処理機本体2を収納部1から引き出している間は、臭気が室内に拡散することはほとんどなくなる。

図1、図2において、前面パネル17には、本体部2を出し入れするための把手部22と、開放レバー25、および開放レバー25により可動する可動部26がある。可動部26は、生ゴミ乾燥処理機本体2が収納部1に収納された時点で、収納部1に設けられた係止手段であるラッチ27に係止され、本体部2が固定された状態となる。本体部2を収納部1より引き出す場合、把手部23を持ち、開放レバー25を動かし、可動部26をラッチ27より解除することにより引き出しが可能となる。また、ラッチ27の近傍には係止解除検知手段である検知スイッチ28が設けられ、可動部26がラッチ27に係っている状態で検知スイッチ28が入る(オンされる)様に構成されている。

このことにより、本体部2を収納部1より引き出す場合、まず開放レバー25を動作し、可動部26をラッチ27より解除する必要がある。解除されることにより、検知スイッチ28が働き、給排気手段11が運転され、生ゴミ処理容器3内の臭気を吸引し、脱臭装置13により脱臭され排気口21より出ていく。そのため、本体部2を引き出そうとしてラッチ27を解除した時点で、給排気手段11が運転されるため、蓋9を開けるまでの給排気手段11の運転時間も長くでき、より多くの生ゴミ処理容器3内の臭気が低減され、臭気の拡散もほとんどなくなる。また、給排気手段11の運転により、蓋9を開放後も、臭気が吸引されるため、本体部2を収納部1から引き出している間は、臭気が室内に拡散することはほとんどなくなる。

生ゴミ処理容器3上方に生ゴミ処理容器3へ給気を行う為の給気口14があり、給気口面積を可変できる仕切弁31があり、アクチェータ32により可動する構成となっており、仕切弁31とアクチェータ32とにより面積可変手段を構成している。そして、本体部2運転停止中に、給排気手段11の運転と連動して、給気口14の開口面積を大きくするようアクチェータ32を動作させ、仕切弁31を大きく開く。これにより、給気口面積が大きくなり、生ゴミ処理容器3内に流入する新鮮な空気を増やすことができりるため、生ゴミ処理容器3内の臭気をより早く低減できる。そのため、蓋9を開けるタイミングが多少早くても、臭気の拡散が防止できるようになるものである。また、生ゴミ乾燥処理機が運転中は給気口面積が小さくなるようにアクチェータ32を動作させ、仕切弁32をほぼ閉じることにより、乾燥処理中に新鮮な空気が大量に入り、生ゴミ処理容器3内の乾燥温度を低下させ、必要以上に加熱手段7の入力を増やすことが無いようにしている。

本実施例はその構成において、図1と同じである。その動作については本体部2の制御手段16により排気能力可変手段(図示せず)を操作して、給排気手段11の電圧や入力、周波数等を制御し、給排気手段11の能力を変える様にしている。そして、本体部2の運転停止中は、給排気手段11の運転と連動して給排気手段11の能力を高める様に制御し、生ゴミ処理容器3内に流入する新鮮な空気を増やすことができるため、生ゴミ処理容器3内の臭気をより早く低減できるため、蓋を開けるタイミングが多少早くても、臭気の拡散を防止できるものである。
