本発明は、フェルト等からなる塗布ヘッドに容器内の内容物を染み込ませて塗布する塗布栓に関するものであり、該塗布ヘッドの全域に内容物を均等に染み込ませて一度の塗布作業で広範囲にわたる塗布を可能としようとするものである。

痒み止め液等の薬剤やガラスの曇り止め液等を充填する容器は、その口部にフェルト等からなる塗布ヘッドを装着した塗布栓が設けられていて、容器のスクイズによって該塗布ヘッドに液体を染み込ませ、それを直接塗布対象物に接触させて塗布する構造になっている。

ところで、従来の塗布栓は塗布ヘッドの表面積が大きいにもかかわらず内容物の供給口が一つしかないため内容物の染み込む範囲が狭く複数回にわたる塗布操作が必要であって、一度で広範囲にわたって塗布を可能とした塗布ヘッドの開発が望まれていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明の課題は、塗布すべき内容物を全域に均等に染み込ませて効率的な塗布を実現できる新規な塗布栓を提案するところにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、容器の口部に固定保持されるキャップベースと、このキャップベースの底壁に配置され容器内の内容物を染み込ませてそれを直接塗布面に接触させて内容物を塗布する塗布ヘッドを有する塗布栓であって、
前記キャップベースの底壁に、容器内の内容物を排出するノズルとこのノズルより排出された内容物を該キャップベースの底壁に沿いその外縁に向けて放射状に流通させて塗布ヘッドの全域にわたって内容物を染み込ませる複数の誘導溝と、この誘導溝を途中において分断して誘導溝に沿って流れてきた内容物の一部分を一旦貯留する環状のバッファ槽を設けたことを特徴とする塗布栓である。

前記キャップベースの底壁に容器内の内容物を排出する複数の開口を設け、前記塗布ヘッドの全域にほぼ均等に分散させた貫通孔を有し該ベースキャップの底壁に合わさりその相互間で貫通孔と開口をそれぞれつなぐ通路を区画する塗布ヘッド皿を設けるようにしてもよく、該通路は、キャップベース及びヘッド皿の少なくとも一方に設けられた溝にて形成することができる。

上掲図4に示した如き構造になる塗布栓においては容器1を直立させたままでスクイズすると、ノズル9より排出された内容物が塗布ヘッド3に直接かかって染み込むだけでなく、図5にその様子を示す如く該ノズル9の側面を流下するとともにキャップベース2の底壁2bに設けられた誘導溝11a、11bに従ってその外縁へと流れていくこととなり、これによって塗布ヘッド3の全域で内容物をほぼ均等に染み込みすぐさま塗布が可能になる。
