本発明は、オフィスの執務空間等において、間仕切または目隠しパネル等として使用される、表面をクロスで覆ったクロスパネルに関する。

【従来の技術】
この種のクロスパネルを構成する際には、基材面にクロスを接着する手法が従来から広く行われている。しかしながら、この手法では、基材が中心に存在するため、どうしても重厚な様相となってしまう。その圧迫感を軽減し、且つ採光性を与えるということは、この種パネルでは考えられなかった。また、接着という加工があることから、加工工数がかかるとともに、異質材料が接着されているので分別廃棄上でも問題があった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】

本発明によると、上記課題は、次のようにして解決される。
(1) 下端が開口する正面視倒立U字状のフレームにおける下端部を除くほぼ全体にクロスを張設するとともに、前記クロスの下端縁に、左右方向に連通する袋状部を設け、該袋状部に挿通した下部横杆の両端部を、前記フレームにおける左右の縦杆に結合する。

図1〜図5は、本発明のクロスパネルの一実施形態を示すもので、図1〜図4は、これを組立工程順に示す斜視図、図5は、図3に示すクロスパネルの下隅部の拡大斜視図で結合部材の詳細を示す図である。
