本発明は、オフィス等において好適に用いられ、オプション部材を保持する機能を有するオプション取付部材、及びこのオプション取付部材を具備する天板付家具に関する。

従来から、オフィス等において好適に用いられる家具に取り付けるための種々のオプション部材が考えられている。そして、これらのオプション部材は、オプション取付部を介して家具に取り付けられる。このようなオプション部材及びオプション取付部として、家具にオプション取付凹部を設けているとともに、このオプション取付凹部にオプション部材を取り付け可能なオプション部材取付口を有するオプション取付部材を着脱可能に設けているものが挙げられる。このようなオプション取付部の構成の一例として、家具としてテーブルを用いているものであって、オプション取付凹部として家具の天板の上面側と下面側とを連通させる開口部を有するとともに、オプション取付部材として前記オプション取付凹部に着脱可能に蓋着される蓋体を有し、このオプション取付部材のオプション部材取付口として配線挿通口を設けていて、このオプション部材取付口にオプション部材としてコンセントボックスを取り付けるようにしているものが挙げられる。(例えば特許文献1を参照。)

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上述の例のように構成したオプション取付部材は、同一形状を有する複数のオプション部材取付口を所定ピッチで設けているが、種々のオプション部材を取り付けるようにすべく種々の形状のオプション部材取付口を設けるようにしたいという要望や、オプション部材の配置を種々に変更したいという要望がある。

すなわち本発明に係るオプション取付部材は、オプション部材を取り付け可能なオプション部材取付口を有するカバー部材と、このカバー部材と別体をなし、前記カバー部材を着脱可能に取り付け可能に構成した本体とを具備し、前記本体が押し出し成形品であるとともに、本体の頂板に凹部を設け、この凹部の長手方向に沿う縁部の上端部からそれぞれ相寄る方向に突出する突起を押し出し成形により設け、この突起と凹部の底との間に係合部を形成し、板状のカバー部材の縁部をを前記係合部に凹凸係合させることにより、この係合部の延出方向にスライド移動させて前記本体に着脱させ得るようにしているとともに、カバー部材のオプション部材取付口に電源コンセント又は情報コンセントを取付可能であり、電源コンセントへの電源コードの脱着又は情報コンセントへの通信ケーブルの脱着をカバー部材の上方から行うようにしていることを特徴とする。
