【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記した先行技術の一例としては、本願図５に示すように、出隅を構成する外壁パネルＰ１、Ｐ２の接合部にシーリング材７でシーリングを施して雨水等の侵入を防ぎ、その上を化粧用の出隅カバー材５で覆い、固定する技術が知られている。このとき、本願図５に示されているように、上記公知の出隅カバー材５は、釘６等の固定手段により固定して出隅を覆っているため、釘６の頭が目に入り、デザイン的に優れているとはいい難い。さらに、上記したように、コーキング材や防水パッキン等のシーリング材７でシーリング施工を行う必要があるため、作業に手間がかかるという問題もある。そこで、本発明は、外壁パネルが隣り合う出隅にシーリングを施工する必要がなく、かつ、デザイン的にも優れた出隅カバー材を提供することをその課題とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、上記課題を解決するために考え出されたものであって、つぎのような技術的手段を講じている。すなわち、本発明によれば、外壁パネルの出隅に設けられるカバー材であって、該カバー材は、上記出隅に沿って被着される取付ベースと、この取付ベースの外側角部に延設された嵌合溝部に嵌合する係止片を突設した係止部と、この係止部を内側角部に一体的に内設するとともに、上記取付ベースを覆うように設けられる化粧カバーとからなることを特徴とする出隅カバー材を提供することができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
