本発明は、固形有機廃棄物の処理装置に係り、特に家庭の厨房からでる厨芥(生ごみ)を高温好気性のバクテリアにより分解する、いわゆる高温バイオ式の生ごみ処置装置に関する。

高温バイオ式の生ごみ処置装置としては種々のものがあるが、例えば特開平7−290029号公報(特許文献1)や特開平6−304542号公報(特許文献2)等を挙げることができる。

台所で使用する生ごみ処置装置(生ごみ処理機)は、置き場所のとらないコンパクトで、しかも厨芥(生ごみ)の処理量が多いものが要求される。流し台と、食器棚等との狭いところに収まるような間口巾が狭く、奥行きが長く、しかも丈の高い箱形の形状をなす生ごみ処理機は、その要求を満足するが、縦長であるがために横方向に倒れやすく、不安定である。

まず、図1、図2を引用して本発明に係る生ごみ処理機の概要から述べる。

生ごみ処理機(厨芥処理機)は、処理槽1、処理槽1を内置する外枠体2、処理槽1の上側に設けられ、処理槽1の上部に形成されている投入口10を開け閉めする開閉自在なる上蓋3、処理槽1の内部に備わる回転自在なる撹拌体4、処理槽1の低部の下方で、外枠体2の空間内に備えられ、かつ撹拌体4を駆動するモータ15を有する。

この生ごみ処理機の安定性を上げる補助脚6について、図3、図4を加えて説明する。この補助脚6は、生ごみ処理機の転倒防止として用いられる。

生ごみ処理機の底部には、底板7が備わる。この底板7に支持脚5が嵌め込んで固定される。ねじ等で締め付け固定することも可能である。底板7は、外枠体2の底側の開口を塞ぐとともに外枠体2の底部にねじ等で締結され、外枠体2の底部の補強をもしている。
