本発明は、例えば、タイルの目地部分や建築物の壁面に生じたひび割れ等にコーキング材を射出、供給するのに用いられるコーキングガンに関する。

【従来の技術】
従来より用いられているコーキングガンBとしては、図7及び図8に示したように、内部にコーキング材を装填可能なコーキング材装填部B1の後端に、レバーB4を回動自在に枢着してなる把手体B2を固着すると共に、この把手体B2の上端部にピストンロッドB3を前後動自在に貫通させてこのピストンロッドB3を上記コーキング材装填部B1内に配設し、更に、このピストンロッドB3の後端部に、ピストンロッドB3に対して前後傾動自在に且つスプリングB52 により後方に向かって常時付勢されてなる係止部材B5の係止孔B51 を挿通させている。

そして、図8に示したように、上記レバーB4を把手体B2に引き寄せる方向に回動させることにより、上記レバーB4の上端部で係止部材B5の下端部を前方に向かって押圧し前進させ、上記係止部材B5をその上端部を支点として上端に向かうに従って後方に傾斜させた状態に傾動、傾斜させてピストンロッドB3に係止させ、この係止状態から係止部材B5を前進させることによって係止部材B5と共にピストンロッドB3を一定長さだけ前進させるように構成してしている一方、上記レバーB4を開放した状態においては、図7に示したように、係止部材B5の上端部後面が上記把手体B2の上端部に突設した規制突部B6に受止され且つ下端部後面がレバーB4の上端部に受止された起立状態となって、上記係止部材B5と上記スプリングロッドB3との係止状態が開放された状態となるように構成されており、上記レバーB4の引き寄せ・解放操作を交互に行うことによりピストンロッドB3を一定長さづつ前進させて、この前進するピストンロッドB3により上記コーキング材装填部B1内のコーキング材を適量づつ押し出すように構成している。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記コーキングガンBによれば、係止部材B5の上端後面を規制突部B6に受止させた状態でレバーB4の上端部によって係止部材B5の下端部を前方に向かって押圧することにより所定角度だけ傾動させることによって始めて係止部材B5とピストンロッドB3とが係止した状態となることから、係止部材B5とピストンロッドB3とが係止するまでの間にレバーB4に遊びが生じ、その結果、この遊びにより上記レバーB4の回動変位量が吸収され、一回のレバーB4の引き寄せ操作によるピストンロッドB3の前進距離が小さくなってしまう。

そして、コーキングガンBを長期間に亘って使用すると、上記係止部材B5の係止孔B51 がピストンロッドB3との間の摩擦により磨耗、拡径し、その結果、係止部材B5が起立した状態からピストンロッドB3と係止するまでの傾動角度が大きくなって上記レバーB4の遊びが大きくなり、一回のレバーB4の引き寄せ操作によるピストンロッドB3の前進距離が著しく小さくなってコーキング材の押し出し量が少なくなるという問題点があった。

本発明は、このような問題点に鑑みてなされたものであって、長期間使用した後にあっても、レバーの回動開始からピストンロッドの前進開始までの間に遊びを生じさせることなく直ちにピストンロッドを前進させることができるコーキングガンを提供する。

【課題を解決する手段】
本発明のコーキングガンは、請求項1に記載の通り、コーキング材装填部の後端にレバーを回動自在に枢着している把手体を固着すると共にこの把手体の後方側から該把手体を貫通して上記コーキング材装填部内にピストンロッドを前後移動自在に配設し、更に、上記レバーの上端部に係止部材を前後方向に傾動自在に配設してこの係止部材に設けている第一係止孔に上記ピストンロッドを挿通させ且つこの係止部材の前面を第一スプリングによって常時後方に向かって押圧させている一方、上記把手体の後面に上記ピストンロッドを挿通させている第二係止孔を設けた後退規制片の上端部を前後方向に回動自在に枢着してこの後退規制片を第二スプリングにより後方に傾斜させて上記ピストンロッドに第二係止孔を該ピストンロッドが後退不能に係止させ、上記レバーを引き寄せ方向に回動させることにより、該係止部材を押進させて上記第二係止孔によるピストンロッドの係止を解除しながら上記係止部材と一体的にピストンロッドを前進させるように構成したコーキングガンにおいて、上記係止部材を上記第一スプリングによって傾斜させてその第一係止孔を常にピストンロッドに係止させた状態に保持していると共に、上記係止部材と後退規制片との間に、上記把手体の上端部に前後方向に移動可能に挿通、支持された押圧部材を介在させて、この押圧部材の後端を上記後退規制片の前方方向への回動操作で押進させることにより、その前端面で係止部材を上記第一スプリングに抗して起立させて第一係止孔によるピストンロッドの係止力を解くように構成されていることを特徴とする。

【作用】
本発明のコーキングガンによれば、レバーの上端側において、ピストンロッドを挿通させている係止部材は、第一スプリングにより常時後方に向かって押圧されてレバーの上端部を支点として後方に傾斜し、該係止部材に設けられた第一係止孔をピストンロッドに係止させた状態としている。

そして、コーキング作業を行う際に、コーキング材装填部内にコーキング材を装填した上で、把手体に枢着しているレバーを該把手体に対して引き寄せる方向に回動させると、その回動操作の開始と同時にピストンロッドに係止している係止部材がレバーの上端部により押し進められ、ピストンロッドを一定長さだけ前進移動させる。なお、把手体の後面側に配設している後退規制片は、公知のように、ピストンロッドの前進時にはピストンロッドに対する第二係止孔の係止を解除する方向に作動し、ピストンロッドの後退時には第二係止孔をピストンロッドに係止させて後退を阻止するように構成している。

また、コーキング作業中の液だれを防いだり、コーキング作業終了時にコーキング材装填部内のコーキング材を取り外したりするためにピストンロッドを後退させる場合には、作業者が指先で上記後退規制片を、その上端部を中心として前方方向へ回動させると、この後退規制片の前面が、この後退規制片と上記係止部材との間に前後方向に移動可能に介在させている上記押圧部材の後端に当接した後、この押圧部材を押し進め、この押圧部材の前端面で係止部材の後面を押圧してレバーの上端部を支点として上記第一スプリングに抗して該押圧部材を起立させる。そうすると、上記ピストンロッドに対する上記第一及び第二係止孔の係止状態が解除されて、ピストンロッドが前後方向に自由に移動可能な状態となるので、この状態にしてピストンロッドを後退させる。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明のコーキングガンの一例を図面を参照しながら説明する。コーキングガンAは、図1及び図2に示したように、内部にコーキング材を装填可能なコーキング材装填部1の後端に把手体2を固着していると共に、長さ方向を前後方向に指向させてなる一定長さのピストンロッド3を、この把手体2の後方側から該把手体2の上端部を貫通させて上記コーキング材装填部1内に前後移動自在に配設している。

上記コーキング材装填部1は、図1に示したように、円筒形状のシリンダ11と、このシリンダ11の後端開口部を閉塞している後端板12と、上記シリンダ11の前端に着脱自在に取り付けられ且つ中央に射出口15を設けているキャップ13とからなり、シリンダ11内をコーキング材装填空間部14に形成している。なお、このようなコーキング材装填部1としては、従来から公知の形状、例えば、樋形状に形成しておいてもよい。

上記把手体2は、その上端部を前後壁部21、22と上下壁部23、24とからなる側面矩形枠状に形成してこの側面矩形枠状内の空間部25を左右方向に貫通させた形状に形成していると共に、上記前側壁部21を上記コーキング材装填部の後端板12の後面に固着一体化させている。

上記把手体2の下側壁部24にはレバー4の上端部が前後回動自在に枢着されている。詳しくは、図3に示したように、このレバー4の上端部は左右に分離した2股形状の突片部4a、4aに形成されていて、これらの突片部4a、4a間に上記把手体2の上端下側壁部24を介在させた状態として突片部4a、4aの下端間を、下側壁部24に貫通、支持させている軸4bに回動自在に連結してなるものである。

更に、上記突片部4a、4aの上端部を上記把手体2の空間部25の下端部内に突出させていると共に、これら突片部4a、4aの上端部間に送りピン41を一体的に取り付けている。そして、上記把手体2を把持して上記レバー4を上記軸4bを中心として把手体2側に引き寄せる方向に回動させると、図4に示したように、この軸4bよりも上端側に設けられている上記送りピン41が軸4bを中心として上記把手体2の空間部25内において前進するように構成されている。なお、上記把手体2の空間部25内の下端部後部には、上記後側壁部22の下端部前面から前方に向かって規制壁部251 が突設されてあり、この規制壁部251 に上記送りピン41を受止させて送りピン41がそれ以上後方に移動するのを阻止し、レバー4が必要以上に開放するのを阻止している。

上記ピストンロッド3は、その長さが上記コーキング材装填部1の前後長さと上記把手体2の前後長さとの合計よりもやや長く形成されている。そして、上記把手体2の前側壁部21の中央部に設けられている前側挿通孔211 と、この前側挿通孔211 の後方に位置する上記把手体2の後側壁部22の中央部に設けられている後側挿通孔221 とに、前端(先端)にピストン部31を一体的に設けている上記ピストンロッド3を前後摺動自在に挿通、支持させている。

加えて、上記把手体2における後側壁部22の上端部には、棒状体から形成されて前後長さが上記係止部材5の円環部5aの上端部後面と上記後退規制片6の上端部前面との前後間隔よりもやや短く形成されてなる押圧部材7が、係止部材5と後退規制片6との間に介在するようにして、後側壁部22の前後面間に亘って前後方向に移動可能に挿通、支持されている。

そして、上記押圧部材7は、その後端面71を上記後側壁部22から後方に突出させて、上記後退規制片6の上端部前面に近接させた状態で対向させている一方、押圧部材7の前端面72を、上記後側壁部22から前方に向かって上記空間部25内に突出させて、上記係止部材5の円環部5aの上端部後面に近接させた状態で対向させている。なお、この押圧部材7の前後何れか一方の端面を上記係止部材5と後退規制片6との対向面の何れか一方に当接させ、他方の端面を係止部材5と後退規制片6との対向面の他方に近接させた状態で対向させておいてもよい。

そして、上記後退規制片6を第二スプリング62の力に抗して指先で押圧してその上端部を中心として該後退規制片6が垂直状態となるまで前方方向へと回動させると、図5に示したように、上記後退規制片6の上端部前面により押圧部材7の後端面71が前方に押進されて、この押圧部材7の前端面72が上記係止部材5の円環部5aの上端部後面に当接した状態でこの係止部材5の円環部5aの上端部を上記第一スプリング52に抗して前進させることにより、上記係止部材5を、その円環部5aの下端から下方に向かって突設している上記脚部5bの後面を受止させている上記送りピン41を支点として前方に起立させて、上記第一係止孔51によるピストンロッド3の係止力を解き、また、後退規制片6に対する押圧力を解除すると、第一、第二スプリング52、62の復元力によって上記係止部材5と後退規制片6とがそれぞれの係止孔51、61をピストンロッド3に係止させた状態に復帰するように構成している。

なお、上記押圧部材挿通孔223 の前方には、長さ方向を前後方向に指向させた断面逆U字状のガイド溝224 が上記把手体2の上側壁部23と一体的に形成されており、このガイド溝224 に上記押圧部材7の上部外周面を前後方向に進退自在に摺接させている。

次に、本発明のコーキングガンAの使用要領について説明する。先ず、上記コーキング材装填部1のキャップ13をシリンダ11の前端から取り外して、円柱状包装体内に封入されたコーキング材を、シリンダ11の前端開口部から上記コーキング材装填空間部14内に挿入すると共に上記コーキング材包装体の前端を切開した後、再びキャップ13をシリンダ11の前端に取り付けると共に、このキャップ13に設けられている上記射出口15にノズル(図示せず)を取り付けることにより、コーキング材装填部1内部にコーキング材をノズルから外部に射出可能な状態に装填する。

次いで、コーキングガンAの把手体2を把持して、タイルの目地部分や壁のひび割れ部分等のコーキング材を供給したい箇所に、コーキング装填部1の前端に取り付けているノズルを向けた上で、把手体2に回動自在に枢着しているレバー4を上記軸4bを中心として把手体2側に引き寄せる方向に回動させて、このレバー4の上端部に取り付けている上記送りピン41を前動させることによりこの送りピン41に受止されている上記係止部材5の脚部5bを前方に向かって押圧する。

この時、図2に示したように、上記係止部材5の円環部5aが第一スプリング52により後方に押圧されて、その脚部5bの後面を受止させている上記送りピン41を支点として上端に向かうに従って斜め後方に傾斜した状態、即ち、第一係止孔51をピストンロッド3の外周面に係止させた状態に保持されていることから、レバー4が回動を開始してこのレバー4の上端部に取り付けている上記送りピン41が前動を開始すると直ちに、この送りピン41により前動する係止部材5の第一係止孔51に係止しているピストンロッド3が前進を開始する。即ち、レバー4の回動開始からピストンロッド3の前進開始までの間に遊びが生じることがない。

そして、上記レバー4を引き寄せ方向に1ストローク分回動させると、図4に示したように、このレバー4の上端部に取り付けている上記送りピン41が一定距離だけ前進して上記係止部材5をその第一係止孔51に係止した状態となっているピストンロッド3共々一定距離だけ前進させ、上記ピストンロッド3のピストン部31がコーキング材装填部1内において一定距離だけ前進してコーキング材装填部1内のコーキング材に押圧力を付与することにより、コーキング材装填部1の射出口15に取り付けている上記図示しないノズルを通じてコーキング材を一定量だけ押し出すものである。なお、この時、上記後退規制片6に設けている上記第二係止孔61の内周面に対して上記ピストンロッド3が摺接しながら後退規制片6を上記第二スプリング62に抗して前方に回動させて、第二係止孔61とピストンロッド3との係止状態が解除されるため、ピストンロッド3の前進が上記後退規制片6により阻止されることはない。

その後、レバー4が引き寄せ方向に回動しきってピストンロッド3を前進させる力が付与されなくなると、上記第二スプリング62のばね力により上記後退規制片6がその上端部を中心として後方に傾斜してその第二係止孔61をピストンロッド3に係止させ、この第二係止孔61とピストンロッド3との間の係止力によりピストンロッド3の後退が阻止された状態となる。

次に、新たなコーキング材をコーキング材装填部1内に装填する場合、まず、後退規制片6を、第二スプリング62力に抗して、その下端部を前方に向かって指で押圧して上記規制突片222 に当接させると、図5に示したように、該後退規制片6が垂直に起立した状態となって、この後退規制片6に設けている上記第二係止孔61のピストンロッド3に対する係止を解くと同時に、後退規制片6の上端部前面が押圧部材7の後端面71に当接すると共に、この後退規制片6の前方への回動により該押圧部材7が前方に押進される。
