【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、カーテンサイドエアバッグ等の部材を自動車のボデイ等の取付板に容易に取付けできる作業性の良い留め具に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来のある部材を取付板に取付けする留め具として例えば図6に示すものがあり、取付板Nと被取付板Jの両者の係合孔U、Wを重ね合わせた後、脚部K内にナットAを納めた状態で留め具Lの脚部Kを係合孔U、Wに挿入し、螺子の締め込みに伴って螺子の先端をナットAに設ける傾斜面に誘導させるようにしてこのナットAを90°回転させる。これによってナットAの雌螺子孔を螺子の延長線上に揃えねじ込めるようにした後、螺子を捻回して締め込み、このナットAを取付板Jの背面に引き寄せるようにして緊締し、上記部材の取付板への取付板を行っている。この留め具は脚部Kの挿し通しによってパネルの背面側にナットAを持ち込めることから手が差し入れない部所において、使用が可能であるなどの利点がある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら上述した留め具にあっては、被取付板の上に取付板を重ねて一体に固定する場合には問題はないが、これらの板が壁の側面に取り付けられる等の場合は片手で板を押さえておかねばならず作業性に問題が有った。

本発明は上記したような問題を解消するものである。その目的は、留め具と取付板及び被取付板との係止を可能とし、これら三者を固定する際の取付作業性の向上を図ることにある。

【問題点を解決する為の手段】
上記問題を解決すべく本発明は、上述した課題を考慮してなされたもので、取付板及び被取付板へ係止が出来る係止爪を留め具に設けた。これにより留め具と取付板との係止とナット及び留め具と取付板及び被取付板との係止が可能となり、これら三者を固定する際の取付作業性の向上が図れるものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態について図面に基づいて説明する。図1から図5は本発明を適用した留め具例を示している。そのうち、図1は使用態様を含めて模式的に示す分解状態の斜視図である。

(全体構成)図1と図2は、取付板1を被取付板12に取付けるときに用いられた留め具3を示している。ここで、取付板1はエアバッグ等の取付ベースを想定している。これに対し、留め具3は、筒部材7とナット8とからなり、取付作業には固定用として螺子9が用いられる。筒部材7及び挟持板10は、何れもプラスチック材で型成形されたものである。

(筒部材)この筒部材7には、補強用の金属板4を基部2上に保持するための爪2a、2aが設けられている。金属板4の係止片4a、4aが爪2aを押し広げた後該爪2a、2aが該係止片4a、4aを押えることで、金属板4の筒部材7の基部2上への取付がなされる。また基部2下面より下方に延出して互いの間をナット8の端部の通し孔とする一対の脚片11a、11aと該両脚片の下端を連絡する連結部11bからなる脚部11が設けられている。

脚片11a、11aには内壁に軸方向に延びる長溝6、6が設けられ、この長溝6、6内をナット8の軸8b、8bが回転可能に移動できるようになっている。ナット8はガイド斜面8bを有し、通常はこのガイド斜面8bを上方にして脚片11a、11aの幅に合わせた形で脚部11に納められている。基部2及び金属板4の中央には螺子9の挿入孔2b、4bが夫々形成されている。

以上の如き留め具3によって取付板1を被取付板である車両ボデイ12に取付ける手順を図1乃至図5に基づいて説明する。一対の脚片11aにナット8が隠れるように保持したまま、脚部11を取付板1に穿設した透孔に差し込み、基部2と挟持板10で取付板1を挟み、取付板1から脚部11が容易に外れない様係止爪5で挟持板10を係止している(図2の状態)。次いで、この状態から留め具3の脚部11を被取付板12の取付孔に差し込む(図3、図4の状態)。ナット8は取付板1の背面側に位置させ、次いで金属板4及び基部2に形成した挿入孔4b、2bに螺子9を挿入し、螺子9の先端でナット8を90度回転させ、螺子9の先端をナット8の螺子孔81に当て、更に螺子9を廻すことで基部2及びナット8の間でパネルを挟持する(図5の状態)。

ここで、ナット8に設けたストッパ85が回転前の状態においては脚部11の連結部11bに当接しているので、螺子9がガイド斜面8bに当接しても、ナット8の反時計方向への回動は阻止され、常に一方向のみの回転が許容される。従って、ナット8が図4に示す如き起立した状態にあっては、常にナット8に形成したガイド斜面8bが螺子9の先端部に対抗することとなる。

次いで、基部2の挿入孔2bに螺子9を挿入し、螺子9の先端をナット8のガイド斜面8bに当接させる。すると、ナット8は軸部8a、8aを中心として図中時計方向に90°回転する。以上の如き状態から螺子9を廻すと、ナット8は長溝6、6を介して基部2に近づく方向に移動し、最終的に被取付板12を基部2及びナット8で挟持し、車体に取付板1が固着される(図5の状態)。

【発明の効果】
以上の説明した如く本発明によれば、従来のような厚板の固定具とは異なって、取付板及び被取付板との固定作業の両者との係止が可能となり、作業時に取付板及び被取付板を押えておかねばならないという不都合がない。特に取付部位が壁面、天井面等であった場合にも取付板と被取付板及び留め具が互いに係止されているので、固定作業の作業性の向上が図れる。
