本発明は、液晶モジュールの保持装置に関し、詳しくは、液晶モジュールの外周縁の下端側に当該外周縁に沿って環状に巡る固定用環状脚が設けられた外周縁部を備えた液晶モジュールを保持する装置に関する。

従来、例えば、ビデオ映像や静止画等を表示する液晶表示装置(以下、表示装置ともいう)に液晶モジュールを組み付けて装着する際には、当該液晶モジュールの外周縁の下端側、即ち表示面側とは反対の裏面側方向に、予め当該外周縁に沿って環状に巡って設けられている固定用環状脚を、所要の固定位置に直接据え付けて、固定用環状脚の四隅をネジ等で固定していた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、液晶モジュールをその固定用環状脚を用いて表示装置のフレーム等に直接組み付けると、例えば、車載用の表示装置内に組み付けたりすると、表示装置の筐体等に加わる振動や衝撃が固定用環状脚を通じて当該液晶モジュール本体、例えば液晶にそのまま伝達されて、悪影響を与えるだけでなく、固定用環状脚の固定用ネジ穴が破損したり、液晶モジュール自体が破損する恐れがあった。
特に大型の液晶モジュールの場合には、サイズが大きくなるにつれて、固定用環状脚のネジ穴から離れた箇所では振動の共振点が低域に移るため、車両の揺れ等振動の影響を更に受け易くなってしまうという問題もあった。
