しかしながら、上記した従来の米飯成形装置によれば、押し型の上型および下型のいずれもが、金属や硬質プラスチックを素材として、各押圧面が全体的に全く平滑に形成されているため、成形米飯の表面がいかにも機械により製造されたプレス成形品のような、いわゆるのっぺりした外観を呈する共に、米飯全体が圧迫され過ぎて必要以上に固くなること等により、食感、食味が低下するのは勿論、商品価値の低下も避けられなかった。

本発明は、上記した従来の技術が有するこのような問題点に鑑みなされたもので、押し型の押圧面に、多数の凹凸成形部を設けることにより、成形米飯の表面に手握り風の小さな凹凸を形成させるこができ、かつソフトで、食感、食味に優れた、商品価値の高い米飯成形装置における押し型を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために、本発明に係る米飯成形装置における押し型は、所定の平面形状を有する成形型に充填された米飯を上下方向から押圧、成形する上型と下型とを備えた米飯成形装置において、その上型あるいは下型もしくはその双方の押圧面に、成形米飯の表面に対する多数の凹凸成形部を形成したことを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態を図面に基づいて説明する。
図1は本発明に係る押し型を装備した米飯成形装置の一実施形態を示す一部断面した正面図であり、図2は同上押し型の米飯押圧時の一部断面した正面図であり、図3は同上押し型における上型の底面図であり、図4は図3のA−A線矢視の一部断面図であり、図5は同上押し型における下型の底面図であり、図6は図5のB−B線矢視の一部断面図であり、図7は成形米飯の正面図であり、図8は上下両面に海苔シートを貼着した成形米飯の正面図である。

本発明は、以上の構成からなり、成形型内に充填された米飯を上下方向から押圧、成形する上型と下型を備え、これら上型、下型、双方の押圧面あるいは一方の押圧面に、成形米飯の表面に対する多数の凹凸成形部が形成されているので、この凹凸成形部により押圧、成形された成形米飯は、その表面に手握り風の凹凸部が多数形成でき、人手によるものに近い仕上りを機械的に効率良く行なえると共に、圧迫過多により必要以上に固くなることがないので、ソフトで、食感、食味に優れた高品質の成形米飯を自動成形できる等々、種々な利点を有するものである。
