【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、外カバー内に収容した載置台に刃物を載せて刃物の刃板を保持体により挟持する刃物包装ケースにおいて、この保持体の位置決め構造に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
下記特許文献1においては、その図面に示すように、外箱2内に収容される載置台5の表側に載置された包丁6が、支持シート10の胴体部10aにより挟持されている。この支持シート10の両腕部10b,10cがこの胴体部10aの両側から折り曲げられて載置台5の裏側に重ねられているので、載置台5から包丁6を取り出す場合には、この両腕部10b,10cを載置台5の裏側から引き出さなければならず、包丁6の取り出し作業が面倒であった。そこで、載置台5から包丁6を簡単に取り出すことができるように、この胴体部10aにはミシン目状の分離部15が形成されている。

下記特許文献2においては、その第10〜13図に示すように、外カバー(下箱1)に形成された各係合溝34にこの両係合舌片32が上方から係入されて保持体30が外カバー(下箱1)に位置決めされている。外カバー(下箱1)内に収容された包丁17が上方から保持体30により挟持されている。この保持体30には基板部31の両側から係合舌片32が折り曲げられて形成されている。外カバー(下箱1)に形成された各係合溝34にこの両係合舌片32が上方から係入されて保持体30が外カバー(下箱1)に位置決めされている。この位置決めにより、刃部17aの厚み方向で刃部17aの側面から離れる上向きへ保持体30が外カバー(下箱1)に対し離脱可能に支持されているとともに、刃部17aの腹側の刃縁の延設方向に沿った長手方向と、刃部17aの腹側と背側とを結ぶ方向に沿った幅方向とへ保持体30が移動するのを規制する。また、外カバー(箱蓋16)は、厚み方向で刃部17aの側面から離れる上向きへ保持体30が移動するのを規制する。

しかし、上記特許文献2では、保持体30の両係合舌片32を位置決めする各係合溝34が外カバー(下箱1)に形成されているため、外カバーの形態は各係合溝34を形成し得る特定のものに制限される欠点があった。従って、上記特許文献2では、外カバーを前記下箱1と箱蓋16とにより構成せざるを得ない。

この発明は、上記特許文献2の有利な点は維持すると同時に、上記特許文献2の欠点を解消して各種形態の外カバーを採用し得る刃物包装ケースを提供することを目的としている。

請求項1の発明にかかる刃物包装ケースは、下記のように構成されている。
この刃物包装ケースにおいては、刃物(15)の刃板(16)における厚み方向(Z)の両側面(20,21,22,23)のうち一方の側面(20,22)を表側の載置面(13)に対向させた状態で刃物(15)を載置して保持する載置台(2)を外カバー(1)内に収容し、この刃板(16)の他方の側面(21,23)に対向させた状態で刃板(16)を前記載置台(2)の載置面(13)との間で挟持し得る保持体(38)を位置決めする位置決め部(14)を備えている。

【発明の実施の形態】
まず、本発明の第1実施形態にかかる刃物包装ケースについて図1〜5を参照して説明する。

図1(a)(b)に示す刃物包装ケースは、透明なプラスチックにより成形された外カバー1と、この外カバー1内に収容されたプラスチック製の載置台2とを備えている。この外カバー1は、厚み方向Zで相対向する表壁4及び裏壁5と、幅方向Yで相対向する両側壁6,7とにより筒状をなして長手方向Xへ延びる収容筒3を備えている。この収容筒3の上下両側は上壁8と下壁9とにより開閉し得る。この載置台2は、その裏側で外カバー1の裏壁5に重ねられ、下半部の柄載置部10と上半部の刃板載置部11とに区分される。この柄載置部10の表側には凹所12が外カバー1の表壁4に面して形成され、この凹所12には指掛凹部12aが切り欠いて形成されている。この刃板載置部11の表側には載置面13が外カバー1の表壁4に面して形成されている。この刃板載置部11において載置面13と柄載置部10の凹所12との境界部で保持体位置決め部14が形成されている。

前記保持体38の主体部39は腹側の支持溝部27の支持空間32と背側の支持溝部28の支持空間36とに挿入され、この主体部39の底壁部42が各支持空間32,36で底壁部31,35に載せられるとともに規制壁部37に載せられる。そのため、この保持体38は、主体部39の両壁部43,44が各支持壁部29,30,33,34に当接して長手方向Xへ移動するのを規制されるとともに、主体部39の両壁部45,46が外カバー1の両側壁6,7に当接して幅方向Yへ移動するのを規制される。また、前記保持体38の両鍔部40,41は腹側の支持溝部27の両支持壁部29,30と背側の支持溝部28の両支持壁部33,34とにそれぞれ載せられた状態でこれらの支持壁部29,30,33,34と外カバー1の表壁4との間で挟持される。そのため、この保持体38は、厚み方向Zで刃板16の側面21,23から離れる向きZFへ移動するのを規制される。このようにして位置決めされた保持体38においては、刃板本体17の顎部26で、主体部39の底壁部42が刃板本体17の側面21の背側を押さえるとともに、中子18の側面23を押さえ、主体部39の凸部47がこの底壁部42に対し隙間Sが生じる刃板本体17の側面21の腹側を押さえる。

刃物15を載置した載置台2を外カバー1から取り出した状態で、保持体38を厚み方向Zで刃板16の側面21,23から離れる向きZFへ載置台2の位置決め部14から離脱させると、刃板16に対する保持体38の押さえがなくなる。そのため、指掛凹部12aに入れた指により凹所12内の柄19を把持して刃物15を載置台2から取り出すことができる。また、外カバー1から取り出した載置台2に刃物15を載置した状態で、保持体38を載置台2の位置決め部14に挿入して位置決めすると、刃板16が保持体38により押さえられる。そのため、刃物15が載置された状態で保持体38が位置決めされた載置台2を外カバー1内に収容すると、外カバー1内で載置台2に対し刃物15を保持体38により保持することができる。このようにして刃物15を載置台2から取り出したり載置台2に保持したりする際、保持体38を載置台2の位置決め部14に対し簡単に着脱させることができる。なお、この保持体38は載置台2の位置決め部14で幅方向Yへ移動し得る。
