Description
(i)少なくとも1つの入射光領域を発生しかつその光領域を前記検出セルのウエルの下方の回折格子手段上に衝突させ、よって、薄膜導波路においてモード励起を発生させるための少なくとも1つの光源、
(ii)前記ウエルの下方の薄膜導波路から回折した光領域を集めるための少なくとも1つの集光手段、及び
(iii )集められた光領域の位置を監視するための少なくとも1つの位置感知デテクタを含む読み取りユニット、
を含んでなる分析装置(システム)を提供する。

Claims (19)
- 光バイオセンサーの1構成要素として使用するための検出セルアレイプレートであって、
複数個の貫通孔のマトリックスを有する試料プレートと、
前記マトリックスの貫通孔のそれぞれの一端を密閉しかつ前記貫通孔のそれぞれを相互に閉塞して複数個のウエルのマトリックスを形成した基材プレートアレンジメントとを含み、その際、
前記基材プレートアレンジメントは、透明な基材プレートと、その基材プレートと前記試料プレートとの間に配置されかつ前記貫通孔のマトリックスに隣接するとともに、そのマトリックスに沿って延在している薄膜導波路とを含み、
前記貫通孔のマトリックスは、前記薄膜導波路に隣接してかつそれにそって別個の検出領域のマトリックスを画定しており、
前記薄膜導波路には、前記検出領域のマトリックスの1つの検出領域から、そのマトリックスの、隣接する少なくとも1つの検出領域に連続して延在している回折格子構造体が設けられており、
隣接する検出領域にそった前記回折格子構造体の少なくとも一部分は、共通の回折格子構造体によって形成されており、前記隣接する検出領域にそってかつ前記試料プレートの前記検出領域間の領域にそって連続して延在している、検出セルアレイプレート。 - 前記貫通孔のマトリックスは、行及び列を有している、請求項1に記載の検出セルアレイプレート。
- 前記共通の回折格子構造体を有する前記隣接する検出領域は、前記貫通孔の各行又は列によって画定された前記検出領域の行にそって又は列にそって配置されている、請求項2に記載の検出セルアレイプレート。
- 前記検出領域の実質的に全部にそった前記回折格子構造体は、前記共通の回折格子構造体によって形成されている、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の検出セルアレイプレート。
- 前記薄膜導波路は、金属酸化物を主体とする材料からできている、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の検出セルアレイプレート。
- 前記透明な基材プレートは、プラスチックスからできている、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の検出セルアレイプレート。
- 前記基材プレートと前記薄膜導波路の中間に配置された低屈折率のバッファ層をさらに有している、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の検出セルアレイプレート。
- 前記回折格子構造体は、前記薄膜導波路と前記基材プレートの間の界面に形成されている、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の検出セルアレイプレート。
- 前記回折格子構造体は、2種類の格子を有しており、そして第1の種類の格子の延在方向が、第2の種類の格子の延在方向に直角である、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の検出セルアレイプレート。
- 前記薄膜導波路と前記ウエルの間にカプリング層をさらに備え、そのカプリング層に対するウエル中の物質の選択的結合を可能にしている、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の検出セルアレイプレート。
- 前記薄膜導波路が、TiO2、Ta2O5、HfO2、Si3N4、ZrO2、酸化ニオブ、Al2O3、SiO2 及びTiO2の混合物、HfON、及びSiONのいずれかである、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の検出セルアレイプレート。
- 前記回折格子構造体がのこぎり歯状の形状を有している、請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載の検出セルアレイプレート。
- 請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の検出セルアレイプレート、ならびに
(i)少なくとも1つの光領域を発生しかつその光領域を前記回折格子構造体に衝突させ、よって、前記薄膜導波路においてモード励起を発生させるための少なくとも1つの光源、及び
(ii)前記検出領域に隣接した前記薄膜導波路から回折した光領域を監視するための少なくとも1つのデテクタ
を含む読み取りユニット、
を含んでなる分析装置。 - 前記検出セルアレイプレートの前記マトリックスは、1を上回る数の行を有していて、前記マトリックスのそれぞれの行に前記読み取りユニットを有している、請求項13に記載の分析装置。
- 前記検出セルアレイプレートを、その検出セルアレイプレートのウエルに充填を行う充填ステーションからその検出セルアレイプレートが前記読み取りユニットと共働する位置まで移送するための移送手段をさらに有している、請求項13又は14に記載の分析装置。
- 位置固着手段を備えていて、前記検出セルアレイプレートを前記読み取りユニットに関して精確な位置に固着することができる、請求項13〜15のいずれか1項に記載の分析装置。
- 前記検出セルアレイプレートを前記読み取りユニットに関して連続的に移動させる移送手段を備えている、請求項13〜16のいずれか1項に記載の分析装置。
- 既知の特性を有する試料を作製する方法であって、
請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の検出セルアレイプレートの所定のウエルにキャリヤ流体を充填すること、
前記検出セルアレイプレートを、請求項13〜17のいずれか1項に記載の分析装置の読み取りユニットと共働する位置まで移送すること、
前記所定のウエルからの出結合光を監視し、その出結合光を記録して参照値を得ること、
前記検出セルアレイプレートを滴定ステーションまで移送し、それぞれのウエルに少なくとも1種の試料を滴下すること、
前記検出セルアレイプレートを移送して前記読み取りユニットまで戻し、前記検出セルアレイプレート内の前記回折格子構造体上に光を照射すること、
前記所定のウエルからの出結合光を監視すること、及び
前記監視によって得られた結果を前記参照値に対比し、前記比較の結果に基づいて前記試料に対して特性を付与すること、
を含んでなる、試料作製方法。 - 既知の特性を有する試料を作製する方法であって、
請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の検出セルアレイプレートの所定のウエルにキャリヤ流体を充填すること、
前記検出セルアレイプレートを、請求項13〜17のいずれか1項に記載の分析装置の読み取りユニットと共働する位置まで移送すること、
前記所定のウエルからの出結合光を第1回の監視に供し、その出結合光を記録して第1の参照値を得ること、
前記検出セルアレイプレートを滴定ステーションまで移送し、それぞれのウエルに試料を滴下すること、
前記検出セルアレイプレートを移送して前記読み取りユニットまで戻し、前記検出領域内の前記回折格子構造体上に光を照射すること、
前記所定のウエルからの出結合光を第2回の監視に供すること、
前記試料をキャリヤ流体に置き換えること、
前記検出セルアレイプレートを移送して前記読み取りユニットまで戻し、前記検出領域内の前記回折格子構造体上に光を照射すること、
前記所定のウエルからの出結合光を第3回の監視に供してして第2の参照値を提供すること、及び
前記第2回の監視の結果を前記第1及び第2の参照値と対比し、前記比較の結果に基づいて前記試料に対して特性を付与すること、
を含んでなる、試料作製方法。
