Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a range hood in which a centrifugal blower is installed in a range hood fan, and more particularly to an oil drain structure of a centrifugal blower.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Today, the centrifugal fan with low noise and high static pressure is used for the range hood fan with the spread of the system kitchen.
By the way, although the fats and oils contained in the waste gas generated from the cooking utensils are removed by the grease filter provided on the upstream side of the blower, they are sent to the blower without being adsorbed 100% by the grease filter. Even in the case of a high-performance grease filter, about 45% of the oil and fat passes through the grease filter and is sent to the blower, and oil accumulates in the blower (specifically, the fan casing) after long-term use.
As a result, when a tempura fire occurs during cooking, the oil accumulated in the blower may ignite and cause fire spread.
The oil accumulation in the blower described above is caused by the oil that has been sucked in and contacted and collided with the fan splashing outwards by the rotation of the fan and sticking to the inner surface of the casing, and flowing down. It is.
By the way, the currently popular blower is installed in the vertical and vertical direction without being inclined because of the connection with the exhaust port or exhaust duct that is opened in the top plate of the range hood fan. In this structure, the fan casing does not concentrate locally but stagnates over the entire width of the lower end of the fan casing. Therefore, conventionally, as shown in FIG. 6, the oil is discharged from an oil drain hole 3 opened in the middle part of the body 11 a in the width direction of the lower end portion of the casing 11.
[0003]
The middle part of the body 11a at the lower end of the fan casing 11 is located in an area (high pressure area) S where the entire width of the fan 11i just faces. In this area S, high pressure in the centrifugal direction is applied by the operating fan 11i, so that the oil adhering to the inner surface of the fan casing 11 avoids this area S as a real problem and concentrates on the low pressure areas on both sides. It will be.
Therefore, when a small amount of oil is accumulated, the oil starts to be discharged when a certain amount or more of oil is accumulated, and it is a reality that it is not possible to take a safe preventive measure against ignition. In addition, there is a problem in that wind collides with the oil drain hole during operation and noise is generated. Furthermore, since the oil drain hole 3 has a circular shape in plan view in which surface tension is applied to the end surface of the hole, burring is generally performed to promote the flow down. However, the presence of protrusions due to burring when the body component band plate is passed through a roller to form a curve in the pre-operation of welding the body (casing body) to the side plate or crimping and fixing the fan casing. Therefore, there is a problem that the roller cannot be passed and the workability is deteriorated.
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
[0004]
The present invention has been made in view of conventional circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a range hood provided with a centrifugal blower that discharges oil from a pile in which oil is accumulated and does not generate noise.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The inventors of the present invention have studied the position and shape of the oil drain hole in order to reliably drain the oil even with a small amount, and have found the optimal position and the shape thereof, and have reached the present invention. That is, the present invention relates to a range hood provided with a centrifugal blower installed in a hood main body, with a discharge port directed rearward or upward and oriented vertically in a vertical direction, in a lower end portion of a body portion of a fan casing in the centrifugal blower. Remove the part where the full width of the fan faces, and open each one or multiple oil drain holes downward at both ends where high pressure does not act, facing the oil drain holes opened at both ends An oil pack is provided below the fan casing. Further, the oil drain hole has a corner shape in plan view. Further, the oil drain hole has a polygonal shape such as a triangle or a quadrangle. In addition, a notch-shaped oil drain hole is provided at an edge of the body portion.
In addition, the both-ends part where a high pressure does not act here refers to the part except the area where the fan full width just faces in the trunk | drum lower end part of a fan casing. Specifically, the area where the fans just face each other is a fan in operation and high pressure is applied in the centrifugal direction. Only low pressure acts on both ends sandwiching this area.
[0006]
According to the technical means performing an operation described below.
For one thing, the centrifugal blower for the range hood fan drains oil from an oil drain hole opened in a low pressure area where the oil concentrates. Moreover, the centrifugal blower in the range hood of the present invention weakens the surface tension of the oil generated on the hole end face of the oil vent hole, and can discharge the non-dischargeable oil remaining on the inner surface of the fan casing. In addition, the centrifugal blower in the range hood of the present invention also discharges oil that enters the fixed portion that is fixed by welding or caulking between the body portion and the side plate in the fan casing.
[0007]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Next, an embodiment of the present invention will be described.
1 to 4 show a blower for a range hood fan according to the present embodiment. Reference numeral 1 is the blower, and 2 is a hood main body (specifically, a hood main body of a boot-type range hood fan) on which the blower 1 is installed.
[0008]
In the present embodiment, a boot-type hood main body 2 is shown, and a small sirocco fan (denoted by reference numeral 1 in the following description) is shown as the blower 1.
[0009]
The sirocco fan 1 has a hole formed in the front side plate 11b which is one of the fan casings 11 which is manufactured by spot welding or caulking and fixing the left and right side plates 11b and 11b to a volute-shaped body 11a as is well known. 11c and an opening 11d having a slightly smaller diameter than that of the other side plate 11b, a bell mouth 11e attached to the front opening 11c to form an intake hole 11f, and a rear side plate 11b. A fan motor 11g is attached so as to close the opening 11d, and a fan (sirocco fan) 11i is detachably mounted on the motor shaft 11h which is coaxial with the hole core of the intake hole 11f.
[0010]
Further, the sirocco fan 1 is formed by bending the mounting flanges 11j outwardly at the upper edge of the body portion 11a and the upper edges of the side plates 11b, 11b, and surrounding the discharge port 11k with the mounting flanges 11j. Furthermore, an oil drain hole 3 is opened in a low pressure area S1 that is out of the high pressure area S at the lower end of the body 11a of the fan casing 11.
[0011]
As shown in FIG. 3, the high pressure area S is a portion where the fan 11i just faces the lower end portion of the trunk portion 11a that is directly under the center of the volute, and high wind pressure acts on this portion in the centrifugal direction of the fan 11i. .
[0012]
In the present invention, one or a plurality of oil drain holes 3 are opened in the low wind pressure areas S1 on both sides where the high wind pressure does not act.
[0013]
Although the low wind pressure area S1 is slightly different depending on the sirocco fan 1, each is secured about 15 mm, and in the case of one, a polygonal shape such as a triangle, a quadrangle, a star, or the like having a size of about 5 mm is provided at the center. In the case of a plurality of holes, about 2 to 3 holes are opened in the adjacent shape with the same or different polygonal shape.
The reason for making the shape in plan view without corners is to weaken the surface tension generated on the hole end face, and it is preferable that the corners are acute in order to weaken the surface tension.
[0014]
Reference numeral 4 is an oil pack provided on the partition plate 7 so as to be removable, and reference numeral 5 is a receiving portion formed on the partition plate 7 for supporting the oil pack 4 so as not to move. In addition, this oil pack 4 may be detachably provided on the back plate and the side plate of the hood body 2.
[0015]
In the blower for the range hood fan of this embodiment, it is sent to the inside without being removed by adsorption by the upstream grease filter 6, blown off by the fan 11 i and attached to the fan casing 11, avoiding the high pressure area S and being low. The oil moving to the pressure area S1 can be discharged without stagnation from the moving chopsticks.
[0016]
Next, the embodiment shown in FIG. 5 will be described. In this embodiment, the oil drain hole 3 having a polygonal shape such as a triangle, a quadrangle, or a star is cut out from the edge of the body portion 11a in the low pressure area S1. It is formed in a shape.
In the case of a plurality of oil drain holes 3, the oil drain holes 3 correspond to the outermost holes.
[0017]
In this way, when the oil drain hole 3 is opened in a notch shape from the edge of the body portion 11a, the oil that enters between the caulking portion between the body portion 11a and the side plate 11b and the welded portion can also be recovered. .
In the case of this embodiment, since the predetermined range of the edge of the trunk portion 11a is occupied as a welding allowance or a caulking allowance, the details are cut out slightly larger than the above-described embodiment.
[0018]
【The invention's effect】
Since the present invention is configured as described above, it has the following advantages.
(Claim 1) Since one or a plurality of oil drain holes are opened at both end portions in the lower end portion of the body portion of the fan casing where high pressure does not act, that is, low pressure areas where oil concentrates, It is possible to provide a fan casing blower equipped with a safe ignition-inducing prevention measure for discharging oil.
Moreover, as a result of providing the oil vent hole at a position that avoids the area where the high wind pressure in the centrifugal direction is applied by the operating fan, the oil vent hole is not exposed to the high wind pressure, and noise is not generated.
(Claims 2 and 3) Moreover, since it is formed in a polygonal shape such as a plan view without a corner or a triangle or a quadrangle, the oil remaining on the inner surface of the fan casing is weakened by reducing the surface tension of the oil around the oil drain hole. It can provide excellent drainage ability to recover even impossible oil, and burring is applied to weaken the surface tension like circular holes such as round holes and elliptical holes in plan view. This eliminates the poor workability that prevents the projecting part from passing through the roller when the body component strip is curved through the roller in the pre-work to manufacture the fan casing by welding or crimping It is possible to improve the workability and provide it at low cost.
(Claim 4) In addition, oil that enters the fixing portion when the side plate is welded or crimped to the body portion of the fan casing can be recovered, and a more excellent ignition prevention measure can be provided.
