この発明は、例えば自動車用空調装置の吹出口の開閉を司るモード切換用の開閉ドアに関するものである。

自動車用空調装置にあって、吹出モードを制御するために、各吹出モード別に開閉ドアが設けられ、選択された吹出モード別に開閉ドアが開閉制御されている。この開閉ドアには、その周囲にライニングと称されるスポンジ等の多孔質弾性材を貼着して吹出口を構成する空調ケースの当接時にシール性の向上と、打音の低減の効果を得ていた。しかし充分でなく打音がすくなからず聞こえていた。

打音の低減の目的から、ドア本体21の外縁部に円柱状の突起部22を形成し、この突起部22と共にドア本体21をシール部材24で包んでしまい、これにより開閉時にシール部材24で覆われた突起部22が空調ケーシングと衝突することとなり、打音が低減する効果を得ているものもある(特許文献1)。

また、空気調和装置の通気通路を切換えるダンパで、硬質の基板10の外周に沿わせて軟質のシールリップ11を設け、このシールリップ11には、補強用のリブ15が設けられ、基板10側の剛性を高めている構成が示されている(特許文献2)。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
前記特許文献2では、シールリップ11に補強用のリブ15を持つために変形が防がれ、確実に壁面部分に良好に密着させ、シール性の向上が図られることが記述されているが、開閉ドアの閉時に発生する打音の減少の作用効果は記述されていない。単に薄いシールリップがあることから打音が低くなることが推定されるだけである。

そこで、この発明は、エラストマシール部を有する開閉ドアにあって、エラストマシール部が空調ケースに当接時の打音の発生を極力抑えるようにした構造を持つ自動車用空調装置の開閉ドアを提供するものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
このため、この発明に係る自動車用空調装置の開閉ドアは、空気の流れを制御する開閉ドアにあって、ドア本体の一端面又は周囲にわたってエラストマシール部を配し、このエラストマシール部の空調ケースとの当接面に複数の独立した凹部を形成し、閉止時に空調ケースと凹部が密閉空間となり、空気がダンパー作用をすることにある(請求項1)。したがって、エラストマシール部が空調ケースの壁面に当たっても、先端部が該エラストマシール部に複数の独立した凹部を持つことから軟らかく、打音の発生を抑えることができる。また凹部は閉止時に空調ケースとで密閉空間となり、空気がダンパー作用をし、開閉ドアの閉止速度を低下させ、打音を低下させることができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、この発明の実施の形態を図面にもとづいて説明する。

図1,図2において、この発明に係る開閉ドア1が示され、回転軸2には、薄板状のドア本体3が固着されている。この回転軸2とドア本体3は樹脂製である。このドア本体3の周囲にエラストマシール部5が取付られている。

エラストマシール部5は、ゴムから製造され、基端部6と先端部7とより成り、基端部6には溝8が形成され、前記ドア本体3が前記溝8内に嵌挿されている。前記先端部7は、その当接面7aに凹部10が形成されている。この凹部10は寸法も均一であると共に、凹部10間のピッチは均等となっている。
