本発明は例えば携帯電話機等の電子情報機器に組み込まれて使用される、レシーバー又はスピーカーの機能を有する小型の発音体の構造に関する。

図2は従来の発音体の一例の発音体の断面図である。発音体のおおまかな形状は断面図より推測される通り平たい円筒形、楕円形あるいは方形である。図において1はフレームで、枠状に成形された樹脂製で発音体の各部品を支持し固着する。2は磁気回路の一部をなすヨークであり軟磁性材料より成り、その外周部はフレーム1にインサートモールドされて一体化している。3は永久磁石で円盤形をなし軸方向に着磁され、ヨーク2の中心部に固着されている。そしてその頂部には軟磁性材料より成り磁気回路の一部をなすトッププレート4が固着されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
例えば携帯電話機を落下させたような場合、振動板が強い衝撃によって大きく撓んだり、また振動板の内側(磁気回路側)の後気室と呼ばれる部分の空気圧が急激に高まった場合に振動板に永久的な変形が残り得る。なお、後気室とは振動板の背後の磁気回路側の空間を言う。スピーカーの振動の音響特性を良くするため、後気室は密閉されずにフレームに設けた専用の穴や切欠き等の通路によって発音体外部の空間に通じているので、外部からの圧力変化が後気室に導入されることがある。

このような異常な力によって、例えば図2に点線で示したような永久的な変形部6bがメインドーム6aに残る場合がある。(この場合はメインドーム6aの中央部が反転して凹凸が逆になっている。)このように振動板が変形すると、その本来の音響特性が崩れて、スピーカーの音量、音質あるいは周波数特性等が本来の特性よりも悪化することが多い。
本発明の目的は、異常な原因による振動板のメインドームに永久的な変形が残留することを防止するような発音体の構造を提供することである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するため本発明の発音体は次の特徴を備える。
(1)フレームに一体化された磁気回路と、前記フレームに周縁部を支持され、かつ前記磁気回路が形成するリング状の磁気空隙内に挿入される円筒状のコイルを固着した樹脂フィルム製の振動板と、放音孔を有して周縁部が前記フレームに保持され、かつ前記振動板の外側を保護するプロテクターを有する発音体において、前記振動板のメインドームの少なくとも中心部分の断面形状、および前記プロテクターの前記メインドームに面した部分の少なくとも中心部分の断面形状を、共に前記発音体の内側に向けて互いにほぼ平行するように滑らかな曲面で突出させるとともに、前記プロテクターの前記中心部分の一部に放音孔を設けたこと。

本発明の発音体は更に以下の特徴を備えることがある。

【発明の実施の形態】
図1は本発明の実施の形態の一例である発音体の断面図である。本発明に関係する部分を除き図2に示した従来例と同様であるので、各図の共通部分については改めて説明することを省略する。本例における従来例との相違点は、プロテクター7の中央部に内側(磁気回路側)向きの凸面が形成された凸部7bを設けたことである。

このような構成により、例えば振動板6の後気室内の圧力が急増した場合、振動板のメインドーム6aは図2の6bのように外側に反転し突出しようとするが、同時にメインドーム6aは空圧のため外方向に大きく変位してプロテクター7の凸部7bの内面(図の下面)に強く押しつけられるので、反転変形は防止される。また衝撃力に起因する慣性によって振動板6が外方向に変位しプロテクター7側に押しつけられた場合も、凸部7bはメインドーム6aの変形を許さないことになる。

本発明の実施の形態については、上述の形態のみならず種々の変形や他の形態の例が考えられるのでそれらについて言及しておく(図示は省略する)。

本発明においては、プロテクターの内面に振動板のメインドームの形状と対応する形状を与えたことにより、異常な力が作用した場合の振動板の永久変形を防止することができた。また更にトッププレートの形状をも改めることにより、異なる方向の異常な力が作用した場合でも振動板の永久変形を防止することができた。
