Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a bay window, and more particularly, to a bay window that enables improvement in workability and correction of drooping on an outdoor extension side.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Because the bay window body is attached to the building frame with the bay window projecting further to the outside of the building, the outdoor bay side of this bay window body hangs down due to the load of the bay window body or the load of the roof or shoji attached to the bay window body. There is a tendency, and the drooping may cause problems in the construction of shoji.
[0003]
In order to solve such a problem, a window table facing member (also referred to as a draining member) abutted on the window table, a base portion is fixed to the window table facing member, and a tip portion is a lower frame of the bay window body ( A bay window provided with a reinforcing bracket fixed to the front lower frame has been proposed (see Japanese Patent Laid-Open Nos. 10-88919 and 2001-207735). The base portion of the reinforcing bracket has a rear end portion that protrudes toward the indoor side of the window base facing member integrally or separately, and the rear end member is fixed to the window base with a fixing tool such as a screw. It has become.

Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2001-207735
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, in the bay window, it is important to fix the reinforcing bracket to the window base. When the reinforcing bracket is fixed, for example, in a forward inclined posture, there is a problem that the outdoor projecting side of the bay window body hangs down. In order to prevent this problem, when attaching a bay window main body with a roof, a slashing window, etc., to the opening of the building frame, at least the bay window main body is prevented so that the reinforcing bracket is not fixed in a forward tilted posture. While lifting by two people, press the base of the reinforcing bracket, specifically the rear end against the top of the window base, and in this state, the other end fixes the rear end of the reinforcing bracket to the window base with a screw. A construction method is adopted in which the vertical frame of the main body is fixed to the housing with screws. For this reason, at least three workers were required, and the construction was difficult. In the case of a bow window (bow-shaped bay window) having a large protruding width and a weight of about 150 kg, it was particularly difficult.
[0006]
The present invention has been made in consideration of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a bay window that can correct the sag on the outdoor projecting side and can improve workability.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. 1 is a schematic longitudinal sectional view of a bay window showing an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is a partial transverse sectional view of the bay window, FIG. 3 is a perspective view of a lower frame reinforcing unit, and FIG. 4 is a diagram showing a reinforcing bracket. (A) is a plan view, (b) is a partially sectional side view, and FIG. 5 is a perspective view of the reinforcing bracket.
[0014]
1 and 2, reference numeral 1 denotes a bay window, a bay window body 2 attached to an opening of a housing of a building, a roof 3 provided on the upper part of the bay window body 2, and a window abutted on the window base 4 of the opening. A base facing member 5 and a reinforcing bracket 11 having a base portion fixed to the window base facing member 5 and the window base 4 and having a distal end portion 11x holding a baseboard 10 provided at a lower portion of the lower frame 9 of the bay window body 2 are provided. I have.
[0015]
The bay window 1 in the illustrated example is a so-called bow window, and has left and right vertical frames 6 fixedly attached to a building frame such as a left and right pillar 12 by a fixing tool such as a screw 13. Three verticals 7 are arranged in a substantially arcuate plane. An upper frame 8 is spanned between the vertical frame 6 and the upper end of the vertical 7 and between the vertical upper ends, and a lower frame 9 is spanned between the vertical frame and the vertical lower end and between the vertical lower ends. Has been. The bay window body 2 is assembled by the plurality of frame members 6 to 9, and a fit-in type shoji 14 is attached to the front opening of the assembled bay window body 2, and the vertical sliding-type shoji is attached to the side opening. 15 is attached.
[0016]
The frame members 6 to 9 and the shoji 15 are made of, for example, an extruded shape of a metal shape, for example, an aluminum alloy, and a synthetic resin shape is attached to the indoor exposed portion of each metal shape. Insulation is improved. In order to improve the appearance of the lower part of the lower frame 9, a skirting board 10 provided in a substantially arcuate shape on a plane is attached to the lower part of the lower frame 9 with screws 16. A top plate 17 and a roof 3 are provided at the top of the bay window body 2, and a table plate 18 and a bottom plate 19 are provided at the bottom of the bay window body 2. Further, a top plate parting edge 20 is spanned between the upper ends of the left and right vertical frames 6.
[0017]
In the present embodiment, the window table facing member 5 is spanned between both ends of a flat arched baseboard 10 and fixed with rivets 21 as shown in FIG. The window table facing member 5 is made of, for example, an aluminum alloy extruded shape, and is formed in a horizontally long plate shape. This window base facing member 5 includes a window base locking piece portion 22 that is locked to the upper surface of the window base 4, an outdoor lower horizontal piece portion 23, and an upper edge portion between the lower surface of the table plate 18. It has an airtight material mounting groove 25 for mounting the airtight material 24 to be sealed. A lower frame reinforcing unit 26 that reinforces the lower frame portion of the bay window main body 2 is mainly constituted by the window base facing member 5, the reinforcing bracket 11, and the skirting board 10. A cushion material 27 receives the vertical frame 6.
[0018]
The reinforcing bracket 11 is made of a rigid metal material having an inverted U-shaped cross section, and its base is brought into contact with the outdoor surface of the window base facing member 5 via a flange 28 and fixed by a rivet 29. ing. A cutout portion 30 through which the reinforcing bracket 11 can penetrate indoors and outdoors is provided at the upper edge of the window base facing member 5, and the base portion of the reinforcing bracket 11, in detail, the rear end portion 11 c is closer to the indoor side than the window base facing member 5. It protrudes, and the lower surface of the rear end portion 11 c is fixed to the window base locking piece portion 22 with a rivet 32 via a flange portion 31. In addition, a flange portion 34 is formed on the lower surface of the rear end portion 11c.
[0019]
The number of the reinforcing brackets 11 is determined by the width of the bay window. In the illustrated example, the number is one at the center of the window base facing member 5, but may be two or more than three. The skirting board 10 is provided with a groove 35 on the inner periphery, and the tip 11x of the reinforcing bracket 11 is inserted into the groove 35 of the skirting board 10 and fixed with a rivet 36. The lower frame 9 of the bay window body 2 is fixed to the upper part of the skirting board 10 of the lower frame reinforcement unit 26 configured in this way with the screw 10, and the bay window body 2 and the lower frame reinforcement unit 26 are integrated.
[0020]
The lower frame 9, that is, the front lower frame and the side lower frame, is formed with a table plate holding groove portion 37 for inserting and holding the outer peripheral edge portion of the table plate 18 having a shape partitioned by these, The outer peripheral edge is inserted into the table plate holding groove 37 and fixed with screws 38. The table plate 18 is inserted into the table plate holding groove portion 37 by sliding it along the upper surface of the reinforcing bracket 11 from the indoor side after the bay window body 2 is attached to the housing, and can be easily set.
[0021]
Further, the strength of the lower frame portion can be improved by the window base facing member 5 having the reinforcing bracket 11 integrally, and the table plate holding groove portion 37, the reinforcing bracket 11 and the upper edge portion of the window base facing member 5 form a lattice shape. Since the table plate 18 is placed on the upper surface portion that is divided into a plurality of planes and is substantially flush, the support strength of the table plate 18 is improved, so there is no need to use the table plate 18 as a strength member. Therefore, the thickness of the table plate 18 can be reduced and it is not necessary to fix the table plate 18 more firmly than necessary. Further, in order to fix the rear end portion on the indoor side of the table plate 18, a hook portion 39 is formed to protrude horizontally at the rear end portion 11 c of the reinforcing bracket 11, and the table plate 18 is engaged with the hook portion 39. An engaging groove 40 is formed, thereby preventing the table plate 18 from being lifted.
[0022]
On the other hand, as shown in FIGS. 4 to 5, the reinforcing bracket 11 is divided into the front and rear sides, that is, the front end member 11a and the base member 11b, and the base member 11c. A jack mechanism 41 for jacking up the front end member 11a is provided. Specifically, the front end member 11a is supported by the base member 11b so as to be movable up and down, and the jack mechanism 41 for jacking up the front end member 11a to the front end member 11a or the base member 11b, in the illustrated example, the base member 11b. The screw member (for example, volt | bolt) 42 which comprises is provided.
[0023]
More specifically, the front end member 11a is formed to have an outer width slightly smaller than the inner width of the base member 11b so that the rear end portion can be inserted into the base member 11b, and the rear end portion is formed on the base member 11b. It is supported through a horizontal support shaft 43 so as to be vertically rotatable. In this case, a cutout portion 44 for avoiding interference with the upper surface portion of the base member 11b is provided at the upper edge portion of the rear end portion of the front end member 11a so that the front end member 11a can be rotated upward relative to the base member 11b. Is provided. The screw member 42 is inserted through a hole 45 provided on the front end side of the upper surface portion of the base member 11b, and is a horizontal member (for example, an axial shaft) horizontally spanned between both side portions on the rear end side of the front end member 11a. ) And is screwed into a screw hole 47 provided perpendicularly to 46.
[0024]
The head portion 42a of the screw member 42 is locked to the upper surface portion of the base member 11b. The head portion 42a of the screw member 42 is provided with an engagement recess 48 for engaging, for example, a hexagonal wrench, which is a rotary tool, so that the screw member 42 can be rotated. A groove 49 is provided along the longitudinal direction on the upper surface of the front end member 11a and the base member 11b (including the rear end portion 11c), and the head portion 42a of the screw member 42 is accommodated in the groove 49. Preferably it is. When the screw member 42 is loosened, the front end member 11a descends with the support shaft 43 as a fulcrum, and when the screw member 42 is tightened, the front end member 11a rises with the support shaft 43 as a fulcrum and is jacked up. A scale 50 indicating the amount of jack-up is attached to the side surface of the base member 11b.
[0025]
Next, the operation of the bay window having the above configuration will be described. When attaching the bay window body 2 to which the roof 3 and the fitting type shoji 14 and the like are assembled to the opening of the housing of the building, first, the screw member 42 of the jack mechanism 41 of the reinforcing bracket 11 is first loosened in advance. When the bay window body 2 is lifted by two people and the window table locking piece 22 of the window table facing member 5 and the rear end portion 11c of the reinforcing bracket 11 are placed on the upper surface of the window table 4, the bay window body 2 Is supported by one person from the outside. Next, the front end member 11a of the reinforcing bracket 11 is jacked up by tightening the screw member 42 of the jack mechanism 41 to adjust the height, thereby correcting or correcting the drooping of the bay window body on the outdoor projecting side. In this case, as a guide, the height of the front end member 11a may be adjusted so that the upper surface portion of the front end member 11a of the reinforcing bracket 11 is flat with the upper surface portion of the base member 11b. The height of the front end member 11a of the reinforcing bracket 11 may be adjusted by looking at the scale 50 on the side surface of the base member 11b or by placing a level on the upper surface of the front end member 11a. The reinforcing bracket 11 is fixed on the window base 4 in a state where the reinforcing bracket 11 is slightly inclined forward, and even if the front end member 11a of the reinforcing bracket 11 is jacked up horizontally, the outdoor projecting side of the bay window body 2 is sufficiently hung down. If not corrected, the screw member 42 may be further tightened to jack up the front end member 11a slightly above the horizontal.
[0028]
If the hanging of the bay window body 2 on the outdoor projecting side is corrected in this way, the table plate 18 is slid from the indoor side along the upper surface of the reinforcing bracket 11 to the outdoor side, and inserted into the table plate holding groove 37, The engagement groove 40 at the rear end of the table plate 18 may be engaged with the hook 39 at the rear end of the reinforcing bracket 11, and the front edge of the table plate 18 may be fixed with screws 38.
