Description
Claims (9)
- 希薄燃焼モードで作動する内燃機関からの排気ガスを浄化する排気ガス浄化ユニットであって、微粒子フィルタ(3)およびSCR触媒コンバータ(4)が流動方向に連続して配列される排気管(2)と、還元剤供給部とを有し、前記SCR触媒コンバータ(4)の入口側で前記還元剤供給部によりアンモニアを前記内燃機関の前記排気ガスに添加することが可能である排気ガス浄化ユニットにおいて、
前記還元剤供給部は、前記内燃機関(1)からの排気ガスの水素濃度を富化するため、水素を前記還元剤供給部に供給する水素発生ユニットを有し、前記水素発生ユニット(14)は前記内燃機関(1)を作動させるために使用される燃料を改質することにより水素を発生させることを特徴とする排気ガス浄化ユニット。 - 前記還元剤供給部は、アンモニアを発生させるアンモニア発生ユニット(15)を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の排気ガス浄化ユニット。
- 希薄燃焼モードで作動する内燃機関からの排気ガスを浄化する排気ガス浄化ユニットであって、微粒子フィルタ(3)およびSCR触媒コンバータ(4)が流動方向に連続して配列される排気管(2)と、還元剤供給部とを有し、前記SCR触媒コンバータ(4)の入口側で前記還元剤供給部によりアンモニアを前記内燃機関の前記排気ガスに添加することが可能である排気ガス浄化ユニットにおいて、
前記還元剤供給部は、前記内燃機関(1)からの排気ガスの水素濃度を富化するために水素を前記還元剤供給部に供給する水素発生ユニットと、アンモニアを発生させるアンモニア発生ユニット(15)と、を有することを特徴とする排気ガス浄化ユニット。 - 前記アンモニア発生ユニット(15)は、窒素変換アンモニア発生ユニットであることを特徴とする請求項2又は3の排気ガス浄化ユニット。
- 窒素酸化物貯蔵触媒コンバータ(5)が、前記微粒子フィルタ(3)の上流の前記排気管(2)に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の排気ガス浄化ユニット。
- 酸化触媒コンバータ(6)が、前記微粒子フィルタ(3)の上流の前記排気管(2)に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の排気ガス浄化ユニット。
- 前記微粒子フィルタ(3)は、触媒コーティングされることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の排気ガス浄化ユニット。
- 前記水素発生ユニット(14)によって発生されるガスを、前記SCR触媒コンバータ(4)の入口側で、および/または前記微粒子フィルタ(3)の入口側で、または前記窒素酸化物貯蔵触媒コンバータ(5)の入口側で、前記内燃機関(1)からの排気ガスに添加できることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の排気ガス浄化ユニット。
- 前記水素発生ユニット(14)によって発生されるガスを、前記SCR触媒コンバータ(4)の入口側で、および/または前記酸素触媒コンバータ(6)の入口側で、前記内燃機関(1)からの排気ガスに添加できることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の排気ガス浄化ユニット。
