請求項1に係る発明は、四角形状の頭部とこの頭部に連設するネジ部とから成るボルトと、前記ボルトを不回転状態で取り付けるボルト保持具とを備え、前記ボルト保持具は、前記ボルトのネジ部を挿通する孔部を設けるとともに該ボルトの頭部を当接する座面を有する板状のボルト取付部と、前記ボルト取付部に設けられ、該ボルト取付部に配された前記ボルトの頭部を係止する係止片と、前記ボルトの頭部の回転を規制する間隔で前記ボルト取付部の両側に対向して設けられ、被固定部に固定される座部を有する板状のボルト回転規制部とを備え、前記係止片は、前記長孔と同一方向に配設され、前記ボルトは、前記係止片および前記ボルト取付部の座面で規制されて前記長孔に沿って移動するように取り付けられていることを特徴とする。

以下、本発明を図面に示す実施形態に基づいて説明する。

本実施形態に係る支持金具10は、四角形状の頭部21とこの頭部21に連設するネジ部22とから成るボルト20と、このボルト20を不回転状態で取り付けるボルト保持具30とで構成されている。

ボルト20は、頭部を四角形状とした点で公知のボルトとは相違する。本発明者の実験によれば、特に、菱形形状とすると、後述するように、使用時に頭部21がナットの取付時に供回りをせず、望ましいことが確認されている。なお、通常の六角ボルトのような頭部では回転を阻止することができず、好ましくない。

先ず、排気系に組み込まれる触媒コンバータの外筒50にボルト回転規制部39の座部40を溶接により固着する。
次に、この排気系を自動車の車体側に設けたブラケット60を組み付ける。
